DARRELL HAD BEEN TO LG SEVERAL TIMES.. I WAS NOT WITH HIM THEN. ONE YEAR WHEN VISITING GARY, WE WENT TO THOUSAND ISLANDS AREA FOR A FEW DAYS. LIVED IT. WOULD LIKE TO GO THERE AGAIN

WE WENT TO BILTMORE ONCE. DECKED OUT FOR CHRISTMAS. LOVED IT. WOULD LOVE TO SEE IT IN THE SPRING. UNFORTUNATELY DID NOT GO DURING THE TIME GARY LIVED IN ASHEVILLE. WISH WE GONE SEVERAL TINES DURING THE TIME HE LIVED THERE.

Holly, good to see you posting. I'm glad you have Ralph to take care of you. That's why I have put off knee surgery; living alone. Gracie is the second reason.
Trish, you have to learn to forgive Michael. Of course, he's going to tell Diane what she wants to hear. He's not going to tell her "I'm so depressed, I don't want to live anymore." People with depression keep it hidden most of the time. It will only hurt your quality of life, no one else. Hugs! 
We leave tomorrow and I'm so excited. I am a little bit anxious to see how my knees do. I did not rent a scooter, as I need to walk. I did get travel insurance for the first time. If I had to be airlifted from the cruise ship, it's crazy expensive. I got medical evacuation for $1 million. They will airlift you to any hospital of your choice in the U.S. if it becomes necessary. At my age, it pays to be on the safe side.
One man was on a cruise for his son's wedding, he fell and hit his head, fell in the pool and the staff pulled him out. He was flown to Bethesda, MD. Unfortunately, he died.

Trish, I'm so sorry for you. The anguish in your tone reaches all the way across the ocean.
Devonne, I have bought travel insurance for both of my overseas trips. I figured $80 or so was worth the peace of mind.
Sandra and Linda, your cards came today. I truly appreciate you.
