FIRST I NEED TO APOLOGIZE. I LOOKED AT MY BIRTHDAY AND ANNIVERSARY LIST AND IT CLEARLY READ BJ'S ANNIVERSARY. THEN SOMEHOW WHEN I CHECKED INTO THE BOARD, MY BRAIN REGISTERED IT AS TRISH'S ANNIVERSARY. MY OWN CALENDAR WAS CORRECT BUT MY BRAIN WENT ON VACATION. SORRY LADIES.
UNHOLLY HOLY BLOOPERS......
1. THE PASTOR WILL PREACH HIS FAREWELL MESSAGE, AFTER WHICH THE CHOIR WILL SING, "BRING FORTH INTO JOY."
2. THIS BEING EASTER SUNDAY, WE WILL ASK MRS. WHITE TO COME FORWARD AND LAY AN EGG ON THE ALTAR.
AS TO OUR WEATHER REPORT ITS ANOTHER LOVELY MAINE DAY IN THE 70S AND SUNNY.
DEVONNE.......THAT LENGTH OF BLOUSES YOU HAVE IS CLOSE TO THE LENGTH OF MY WALK-IN AND MY LONG ROD HOLDS ALL MY DRESSES, SLACKS, CULOTTES, TOPS, AND HALF MY SKIRTS. YOU SURE HAVE A LOT OF CLOTHES. I WOULD NOT KNOW WHAT TO WEAR IF I HAD THAT MANY. AS IT IS I HAVE A FEW THINGS I HAVEN'T WORN FOR A YEAR OR TWO. I EXPECT I WON'T NEED TO BUY ANY MORE CLOTHES IN MY LIFETIME.
OUR MONTHLY POTLUCK WENT VERY WELL. ALONG WITH THE
'MAKE YOURSELF ITALIAN SANDWICHES' THERE WERE 4 DIFFERENT KINDS OF SALADS, SHRIMP, 2 TYPES CHIPS, SALSA, AND A LOVELY 'TOP IT YOURSELF' CHEESECAKE. NOW WE WILL TAKE A BREATHER DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS AND WAIT TIL SEPT FOR THE NEXT ONE SINCE SOME FOLKS ARE ON VACATION AND OFF WITH FAMILY DURING THESE MONTHS. SOME OF THE RESIDENTS, ANYWAY. ME, I STAY HERE AND ENJOY MY QUIET LIFE WITH VISITS FROM FAMILY.
I MADE A SMALL POT OF CHICKEN RICE SOUP YESTERDAY SO I AM GOOD FOR FOOD. I STILL HAVE SOME OF THE CHEESES AND MEATS FROM THE POTLUCK AND I HAVE SOME OF MY OWN ITALIAN SANDWICH ROLLS ALSO. THEY ARE GREAT FOR ITALIANS, PEPPER STEAKS, TUNA, CHICKEN AND MEATBALL SANDWICHES. I MAY DEFROST SOME STEAK FOR TOMORROW.
IT WILL BE A QUIET DAY FOR ME. I PLAN TO SEW A BIT, DO MY LAPS, WORK THE PUZZLE AND SINCE SAT. MEANS ONLY A COUPLE OF WEEKLY CHORES, I AM IN GOOD SHAPE FOR FUN TODAY.
HUGS TO YOU ALL MY FRIENDS. QB S ![]()

What a morning. DH wanted to take one of his cars to a local car show but it was overcast and the weather report showed showers all morning and tstorms this afternoon….so no go and of course so far not a drop of rain….
Then I went to make myself coffee in the Keurig….turned it on, pushed the button and lol and behold I forgot to put a cup underneath.. so had to clean that up. Then I tried again…cup in place, forgot the pod and so a cup of very hot water. 🤪. So I gave up, went to the gym and got a cup of coffee at the coffee shop.
It’s going to be one of those days.
Dgson graduated yesterday with a high school diploma and an Associate degree.
We went to the party last weekend but not the graduation yesterday….i understand that there were 300+ graduates and lasted more than 3 hours. And each graduate walked across the stage and received their diploma!
This is a day of mixed emotions…

Janet, I meant to comment about the packing. When Greg got married, Emily had three suitcases just for the weekend. One was full of nothing but shoes, lol. I had a good laugh about the Keurig mishap. I’ve never forgotten to put the cup under there yet, but I have forgotten to put the K-cup and got the cup of hot water.
congratulations to your DGS!
Trish, with all my new blouses, that means I have to get out of the house more, lol. 😂 Congrats on your new cooker. My instant pot is so old; I believe it is one of the first ones made. I might look into a new one next year. I finally got rid of my antique toaster and bought a new one. It’s the first toaster. I’ve had that a light stays on while it’s toasting.
I have laundry to do today and house cleaning (that I was supposed to do Thursday and Friday, lol). I’ll be able to rest later today and do nothing on Sunday.
Did you know the post office will pick up an Amazon return if it’s too big to take to the UPS store? I put it out yesterday but it wasn’t picked up. He did get it today.

Good afternoon all.
Theresa, happy belated birthday!
Janet, funny story on the Keurig. I have not forgotten my cup, but twice now I have forgotten to put in the water! I have one that needs the water added every time as it does not have a holding water tank. The one we had at work had the tank and it made several cups before needing refilled.
Devonne your new pants rack looks great. I just fold my pants and they are in a wardrobe in the bedroom, not in a closet. I used to go to Hobby Lobby with Kelli. Have not been there in years. They had some interesting things.
Sandra, congrats on the $10.00 win in bingo!!
It has been quiet and really dull here. Seems all week revolves around blood transfusions, blood draws and waiting to see if he needs it again. I guess that is what comes with such an illness. We go to Cleveland on July 6 and 7 for pre-testing for his transplant. I think we will get a hotel room and stay the night instead of making the trip home and then going back the next morning. We are an hour and 10 minutes south of Cleveland.
I am going to do breakfast for supper tonight; making french toast since we have two loaves of bread.
Thinking of you all.

Cheryl, Greg leaves his pants hanging on a rack in the laundry room, lol. I did breakfast for lunch.
Sailboats before and after pictures. I think I got the sails too white, but it was fun.
