JUDY.......I LEARNED THERE'S A REASON PHARMACIES ARE AT THE BACK OF THE STORE.  DRUGGIES HAVE LITTLE CHANCE OF STEALING DRUGS SINCE IF THEY DO, THE DOORS CAN ALL BE LOCKED TIGHT BY THE TIME THEY CAN RUN FOR IT AND POLICE ALERTED.  SMART IDEA BUT I AGREE, TEMPTING TO BUY SOMETHNG BESIDES GETTING YOUR MEDS.
THAT'S ALSO THE REASON THEY CHANGE AISLES NOW AND THEN SO THEY CAN TEMPT YOU WITH OTHER FOODS YOU MAY HAVE MISSED IN YOUR FORMER SHOPPING RUNS.

I AM HAVING MY YOGURT AS I TYPE ALONG WITH MY USUAL MORNING CHERRY APPLE JUICE.  I FINISHED THE LAST OF MY MEATLOAF YESTERDAY BUT HAVE 3/4 OF A PORK CHOP LEFT.  SINCE I HAVE DEFROSTED BOTH GROUND BEEF AND CHICKEN, I HAVE CHOICES.  I THINK I WILL TRY A NEW BEEFY NOODLE GOULASH TODAY AND MAKE SOME PIZZA TONITE. 
ON SATUDAY AFTERNOON, WE HAVE A GATHERING IN THE COMMON ROOM JUST TO CHAT.  SOME BRING SEWING PROJECTS AS WELL.  I JOINED THEM WITH MY LATEST WH, TILLY TEACUP, AND GOT HER BINDING FINISHED.  I WILL BE POSTING SOME PICS ON MY BLOG LATER TODAY.  WILL LET YOU ALL KNOW.

I FINISHED AN AMERICANA SCENE JIGSAW PUZZLE YESTERDAY AND WILL START ONE OF MY NEW ONES TODAY, THE ONE WITH THE QUILTS HANGING ON THE LINE.  I AM ANXIOUS TO GET TO THAT ONE.
I MADE THE BEFFY NOODLE GOULASH YESTERDAY AND IT WAS PRETTY GOOD.  HAD 2 OTHERS AS GUINEA PIGS.  ITS SIMILAR TO ANY BEEFY NOODLE CASSEROLE WITH A CREAM SOUP IN IT.
TONITE IS GOING TO BE PIZZA NITE.  
I WILL ALSO HAVE TO USE UP THE DEFROSTED CHICKEN BREAST SOMETIME IN THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS.  
ITS MONDAY SO BACK TO MY MONTHLY AND WEEKLY CHORE LIST.  IT KEEPS ME OUT OF TROUBLE AND I GET A BIT OF EXERCISE SO I WILL TRY TO KEEP UP WITH IT.
I REALLY HOPE TO GET SOME SEWING DONE TODAY.  I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO MACHINE QUILT MY PINK DRAGON.  I WANTED TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT.  I HAVE LOOKED AT MY STITCH CARDS AND I MAY SETTLE FOR A BREEZY LEAF LOOK INSTEAD OF STRAIGHT QUILT STITCHING.

Trish and everyone! Ashley got an email saying they are discontinuing the free forums. She thinks there is maybe 30 days before it goes to paid. She said if we want to keep it, someone else will have to set it up and pay for it. 

I don’t even know what to look up to see how much, hopefully Trish does. I’m willing to either pay for it or to contribute. It might be an opportunity that could let Ashley and Tammy and Bonnie rejoin.

Thanks HOLLY, I can’t do it from here, but will be home Saturday, already have a forum set up, I’ll find out if it’s free, it was, so here’s hoping . Let’s  not panic yet, we’ll have somewhere to go,  the forum I already have is fairly simple, much like the old one we had.

Busy day for us, they didn’t win, but played against some of the best teams in the tournament, so shouldn’t be discouraged. Tomorrow his mate is playing in the 2nd round, if he wins he keeps going. W is going with him to watch, I am staying in 😃😃

Bought some clothes yesterday, happy about my purchases, currently waiting for the dryer to finish, I tossed the clothes in before we went to dinner.
My cunning plan is to have everything washed to take home, so we’ll only have overnight clothes and what we wear home, the Mr won’t like it, he usually unpacks straight to the laundry 😃😃

so it looks like a quick trip to Florida next week. Funeral on the 27. My nephews were already planning to go down the to pick up a truck and trailer it home, so Ralph may go with them. And Heather and Ed are going to fly down, so I’ll go with them . Heather is looking into flights and timeshare swaps this morning. 

We went and got haircuts this morning, my hair was looking awful. 

I’m keeping Ophelia the shark, at least for now. She’s perched on top of the computer desk hutch.

My goodness!  I've been MIA so much, and it certainly isn't by choice or laziness! 🤪 And I'd love ti be considered for the new group.


I've been busy, busy, and healing from this and that, but my wrist has healed nicely, and now I'm working on motion and flexibility.  Soft tissue stuff,  and arthritis will take longer, and I still have to sleep in the custom orthotic, but the doctor and I are pleased with my progress. The "that" will take longer, but I'm hopeful, stubborn, and resilient. 🙏🏻

Mom is SLOWLY healing, but I worry that the broken ankle and surgery will still be her downfall. 😔  She simply won't eat much, doesn't want to eat, but will drink a protein shake, which consists of far too much sugar.  My sister lives with her and, in my opinion, makes it too easy for Mom to view herself as an invalid. Then my sister complains to us about all she has to do.  Mom can't live here because of the stairs, and between my wrist and other health concerns, i cannot lift more than 15 pounds right now.  Anyway, lots of worry and concern with my Mom, and she is certainly being very stubborn about eating, and what she will eat, but tells us she isn't picky.🤪

My brother continues to improve, but it is slow, the poor man.  Between seeing him, doing things for him & his wife, as well as for my Mom, we are kept busy. Unfortunately, we live a good hour and a half away from him and my Mom, so it's  a long day when we go. And we've gone every weekend except 2 (our own medical procedures or surgery) since February 1.

Life is busy, but life is good. God is good!

I have finally submitted my resignation for all platforms where I submitted reviews.🎊🥳

We've recorded World Cup soccer games and they to catch as much as we can before hubby leaves for work, and after he gets home.  USA plays Australia on Friday, Trish, as I'm sure you know.  Despite it being in Seattle, we will watch from the comfort of home! 😄

Prayers continue for Cheryl and Dean!🙏🏻

I hope Howard's wrist/hand is feeling much better SOON!

I know i missed mentioning everyone, but you are in my daily thoughts and prayers!

   Like Holly, I have a travel list and RXs, chargers and night lights lead the list. 
Leaving tomorrow.  I couldn’t believe it when DH put his clothes out to be packed 3 days ago! I checked the pile and saw he forgot shorts. 🤣
    I can’t believe we’ll be gone for 4 1/2 days, will drive about 10 hrs each way for a 3 hr party.  Duh. 
    We have a darn Racoon hanging around the bird feeders…even in the day time.  The other day he managed to climb the pole, get around and over a large baffle to sit it the gray to eat!! DH is very annoyed.  I offered the ‘final solution’ but he won’t let me. We took the feeders in for a few days and with the trip will be in for about a week.  Maybe he’ll lose interest?
