Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

Bumping this to the top with no time to read, sorry!

Last Sunday, my 75yo brother had a stroke!  He is slowly improving, and was moved to a rehabilitation center Friday night.  He has regained some feeling in his left foot, and they feel his muscles twitching during physical therapy.  His speech has improved.  Baby steps, but will take it!

We just found out that my oldest niece has skin cancer and she is having surgery on her leg to remove the area of concern.  She's scared, bless her heart!

DH had an ablation to zap areas of his heart that go into atrial fibrillation.   That was Friday morning.  He is home, of course, and doing well.

It's been a crazy, stressful week, but God is good, and I'm grateful things aren't worse!

I hope all of you are well!

Happy birthday, Carol!

Happy birthday, Holly!

Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

DIANE thanks for bumping and locking, best wishes to the family

I've been watching the winter olympics, the slalom women's has been fantastic, mens about to start, you've probably seen them all already LOL  we are behind their times, but the day looks fantastic, cold of course, but clear and looking wonderful

I made an appt for the nurse tomorrow, got a message that they need me for a vaccination, no idea what, it's either 'flu, pneumonia or shingles. I'll find out when I get there. She could have done it last week when I was there, but the record didn't flag then LOL
Hope it doesn't make my arm too sore.  think it's to early for the 'flu, we go away in June and I usually like to have  it just a few months before then so I am covered as well as I can be. I have yoga a couple hours after - that will be fun!!

I'm heading back to the olympics, we watched the snow boarding a couple hours ago, the young Oz guy is happy with himself, but those guys leading - WOW! Just amazing jumps.

Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

Diane, so sorry about your brother but glad he is recovering. So sad about your niece. I can understand why she is scared. It's good hubby is home and doing well after his procedure. Yes, God is still good! Things can definitely be worse.

Greg had to have Kenai, his oldest Bengal cat, put down. He spent $1,200 last Saturday on him and he never improved. When cats go in a closet and stay, they are either sick or looking for a place to die. He was 17. He's getting another one and has been put on the waiting list. Carter wants a brown one like Tiki. Tiki is only 4 years old and the most loving cat I have ever seen.

I still have a lot of stuff in the guest bedroom I need to put up. Will work on that today. Most of it is Christmas stuff taken out of the closet.

I hope all of you have a wonderful Sunday! I haven't watched any of the Winter Olympics yet. The Summer Olympics is coming back to Los Angeles in 2028.

Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

I did 1.5 hours in the sewing room, and I’m done! It looks so nice.

I’m a hit with the little boys in the family! I sent Garret and Amary tactical flashlights, and they said they were cool. I sent Ben a screaming goat, and his mom sent me a video of him screaming with it. She asked if I was mad at her, LOL. Ben said it was the perfect gift.

It’s 12 and windy, but it’s our last day of the extreme cold for a while. Maybe this snow will finally melt!

Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

Diane- sorry about your family health issues.
Devonne- I sent a PM.
I haven’t watched any of the Olympics.  Never had much of an interest.  I saw bits on the news.
Super Bowl today.  I’m not a fan of football.  My father used to make (or try) to make us watch it with him.  He had no sons, and never hesitated to remind me that I was his last chance for one). Bummer.
DH will probably watch some of it.  I’ll watch it for the commercials and skip the half time show.  I’m making stuffed peppers for dinner.
Terribly cold again here today.  I have a drs appt Tuesday that I rescheduled twice because of the driveway.
It’s early and about  1 1/2 hrs away.
My shoulder is better but my neck (partially due to arthritis I figure) is no better.
happy birthday to Holly and Carol…

Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

STOP THE PRESSES!
1.  THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE SAID YESTERDAY THAT AN AUTOPSY PERFORMED ON THE HEADLESS BODY OF A MAN FOUND IN MASON, FAILED TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF DEATH.
2.  THE BRIDE-ELECT WAS SHOWERED WITH PIECES OF HER CHOSEN CHINA.

THERE YOU GO TRISH, A SMILE OR TWO FOR TODAY.  I BELIEVE LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE AND I TRY TO SMILE OR LAUGH A LITTLE EVERY DAY SO I AM PLEASED TO SEND THESE ALONG FOR ALL OF US.
ALSO, CAROL'S BIRTHDAY IS THE 16TH. ITS HER ANNIVERSARY ON THE 11TH.  ALSO BJ'S BIRTHDAY IS ON THE 18TH.

DIANE......SO SORRY FOR ALL YOUR BAD NEWS.  WISHING GOOD THINGS FOR YOUR FAMILY.  ITS TOUGH WHEN THERE ARE SO MANY NEEDING YOUR ATTENTION AND PRAYERS.  HUGS FOR THEM ALL.

TIP:  TO KEEP BREAD FRESH LONGER, STORE IT IN YOUR FRIDGE.  ALSO TUCK A COUPLE OF PAPER TOWELS IN THE BREAD BAG.  THE MOISTURE WILL COLLECT ON THE PAPER TOWEL INSTEAD OF THE BREAD, MAKING IT STAY FRESHER, LONGER.
NOTE:  MY SON ONLY SHOPS EVERY 2 WEEKS AND MY BREAD STAYS FRESH THAT LONG AND MORE.

LISTS.....LOVE 'EM!  I MAKE MY LIST OF THINGS TO DO IN MY DAILY JOURNAL, WHICH IS A LINED COMPOSITION BOOK,  FROM MY LAPS, WEIGHT, DAILY MENU, TO COOKING FOODS, TO ACTUAL CHORES.  AS I COMPLETE A THING, I PLACE A CHECK MARK BESIDE IT.  IF I DON'T GET SOMETHING DONE, I PUT A LINE THRU IT.  I MAY PUT THAT ITEM ON THE NEXT DAY'S LIST OR SAVE FOR ANOTHER TIME.

PATTY......I, TOO, WILL ADD TO MY LIST IF I DO SOMETHING NOT ALREADY LISTED.  THEN I CHECK IT OFF.  VOILA!

DEVONNE.....SO SORRY ABOUT DEAR KENAI.  ITS ALWAYS TOUGH TO LOSE A PET. I KNOW YOUR MEN ARE HURTING.
IF THEY CAN'T FIND A BENGAL THEY WANT WHY NOT TRY AN OCICAT.  I HAD SHEENA FOR MANY YEARS.  SHE WAS MORE LIKE A DOG THAN A CAT.  SHE CAME WHEN I CALLED, STAYED IN THE YARD AND NEVER VENTURED AWAY WHEN OUTDOORS, AND WHEN I CALLED OUT "ITS BEDTIME!" SHE WOULD JUMP INTO BED WITH ME AND SNUGGLE UP AGAINST A LEG OR ARM OR ON MY TUMMY.  THEY, TOO, ARE SPOTTED.  FROM TANS TO GRAYS IN COLORS.  LOVELY CATS AND NOT TOO LARGE.  IT'S SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT.

TODAY I ADDED "REORGANIZE HOSPITAL TOTE."  I KEEP A QUILTED TOTE UNDER MY TABLE AT-THE-READY FOR ANY HOSPITAL VISIT.  I THOUGHT I SHOULD REPLACE THE SPARE BATTERIES WITH NEWER ONES ANYWAY.  I ALSO REPLACED MY PHONE CHARGER WITH AN UPDATED VERSION I DON'T NEED SINCE, AT XMAS,  MY SON GOT ME AN EVEN NEWER VERSION FOR HOME.  I HAVE EVERYTHING IN IT FROM A PAIR OF CULOTTES AND SHIRT, TO WRITING SUPPLIES, TO BOOKS TO READ, TO SOCKS, UNDIES, SURGICAL MASKS, TOOTHBRUSH AND PASTE, AND MORE.

I KNOW ITS MY DAY OF REST, BUT I THOUGHT IT NEEDED DOING.  TOMORROW I HAVE TO START WITH WEEK 2 OF MY MONTHLY CLEANING PROGRAM WHICH MEANS DOING MY LEFT KITCHEN CABINETS, ETC.  MY DAILY CHORES ARE A BIT DIFFERENT NOW, TOO.  I THINK WITH THIS NEW PLAN I CAN KEEP MY HOUSE CLEAN AND ORGANIZED.
IN THIS MANNER I HOPE TO FIND TIME AND THE MOJO TO GET BACK INTO SEWING.
FOR TODAY, ITS SOME OLYMPICS.  I PREFER SUMMER TO WINTER BUT I WATCH SOME OF THE EVENTS.  SOME I NEVER WATCH.
TODAY IS ALSO A DAY FOR FOOTBALL BUT I'VE NEVER BEEN A FAN SO I WILL READ, WATCH TV INCLUDING SOME OLYMPICS, AND ENJOY MY DAY.

GOSH, I'VE WRITTEN A BOOK.  TAKE CARE MY DEAR FRIENDS.  HUGS FOR YOU ALL.  QB S

Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

Good afternoon!

I am walking well with the boot.  I made a batch of brownies and they are in the oven.  The guys will take them to a friend's house tonight to watch the Super Bowl.  I never watch it and it is usually my sewing night.  Can't do that tonight, so will watch some more of the olympics.

Sandra, what a great idea to have a bag ready for the hospital if necessary.  When one lives alone, it is best to be prepared.

It is so beautiful today.  It is not too cold and the sky is such a vivid blue, that it makes me happy just to look out the windows.  I have lots of birds and squirrels at the bird feeders and I love to watch them.  Today, however, I had a flock of those starlings/blackbirds come and and they wiped out the food.

Nothing else to say, so will close for now.  Take care all.

Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

Afternoon y'all!

DS I prefer a brick and mortar bank.  I can only imagine the pain it would have been to create the Estate account and such, if it had been online only.

Holly I am a list-aholic.  I make them for everything.

Diane! What a week!

I too will add something to my list if I did it and it wasn't on the list, just so I can mark it off!

Today has been busy.  We went to the RV show, Sara met us there.  Then to the Buford Farmers Market, for some fresh caught catfish, I dislike farm raised.  Then home.  I have been pin basting a quilt and will run out of pins so ordered them from Amazon.

We watched the show Puppy Bowl Training this morning.  Simba barked at the puppies! LOL!  Then off to the show etc.  Home, put on the puppy bowl and set it to flip to the Olympics.  Now it's the Bugs Bunny Bowl, also set to flip to the Olympics.  We will watch the commercial bowl.  I have my hand sewing ready to go.

Need to run, I am cooking some of the fish tonight!

Hubby got the emails ready for the tax/accountant.  We did it in 3 emails, so tomorrow morning off it goes!

You are now caught up on my little corner of the world!

Later my Friends!

Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

So this is so typical of what goes on here.  I started making dinner at about 3:30.
DH comes in to look at the faucet handle which has been a bit stiff for about 2 weeks.
Me:  what are you doing?
DH: Looking at the faucet to see what tools I need.
Me:  what? Now? I’m making dinner.
DH: But it needs fixing.
Me: Now?
DH:  just looking.
Now, I know he means well but he’s no plumber…and he’s a very slow worker…but more important, it’s been that way for a while, so what’s the urgency?  Then I reminded him that our plumber told him “ never start a DYI project between Friday afternoon and Monday morning.  Just in case”.  Good advice.
And he decided to look at it tomorrow…😵‍💫.   Personally I’m for just replacing the faucet, but he’s stubborn.
So dinner is in the oven and DH is in the shower.  🙄

Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

Janet, I got your message. I want to replace my kitchen faucet and Greg said he would do it. I rather call a plumber. Not that I don't trust him, but he does enough for me.

Sandra, he has a Bengal breeder he's working with in North Carolina. It could be late this Fall or next year before she has what they want; a brown male.

I got lazy and didn't do any work in the guest bedroom. I have no appts. this week, so I should be able to get a lot done. I might make that list after all of what I need to finish. It is rewarding when you can mark it as done!

I am not a football fan. Didn't even know the Super Bowl was today until Greg told me yesterday, lol. I used to watch the half time show, but now they are awful.

Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

YOGI BERRA SAYS....
1.  I NEVER LIKED YOU AND I ALWAYS WILL.
2.  INCLUDE ME OUT.

CHERYL......I'M GLAD YOU ARE DOING WELL WITH THE BOOT.  IT ALL TAKES TIME BUT EVENTUALLY YOU CAN DISCARD THAT.

I WOKE AT 6 AND TURNED ON THE OLYMPICS IN TIME TO SEE OUR LINDSAY VONN TAKE A BAD SPILL ON HER DOWNHILL RUN.  THEY HAD TO HELICOPTER HER OUT ON A STRETCHER.  THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT OUR BREEZY JOHNSON TOOK THE GOLD MEDAL IN THE EVENT.  I HEARD LATER THAT LINDSAY WAS IN SURGERY FOR A BROKEN LEG.  POOR GAL, SHE'S HAD ONE THING AND ANOTHER.  I THINK HER EVENTING WILL BE BEHIND HER NOW.  I THINK SHE'S 40 THIS YEAR AND SHE JUST HEALED FROM ACL INJURY OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

SOME OF THE GALS HERE PROPOSED AN ITALIAN SANDWICH LUNCH THEME WITH THE INGREDIENTS POTLUCK AND WE MAKE OUR OWN SUBS AS WE WANT THEM.  ONE GAL PLANNED TO BRING THE SUB ROLLS, ANOTHER TASTY OLIVE OIL FROM A LOCAL ITALIAN TAKE-OUT PLACE, AND I VOLUNTEERED THE SLICED HAM AND GREEN PEPPERS.  OTHER THINGS WOULD BE ADDED BY OTHER LADIES ON THE SIGN-UP SHEET ALONG WITH DESSERT ITEMS.  IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AROUND VALENTINE'S DAY.  WELL, ITS GETTING DARN CLOSE AND NO POSTING UP YET.  I NEED TO CATCH ONE OF THE MAJOR PLAYERS AND SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING.  THE SIGN-UP SHEET HAS TO GET POSTED FAST.

I STARTED ON MY MONTHLY CLEANING LIST WHICH ARE THE LEFT KITCHEN CABINETS AND DRAWER.  I DID MY LAPS AND THEN CLEANED THE LEFT CABINET, IN AND OUT.  I HAD TO TOSS A PCKG OF SHELF BACON, DARN IT.  I ADDED IT TO MY NEXT GROCERY LIST FOR MY SON TO GET NEXT TIME HE SHOPS.  ONLY 2 MORE UPPER CABINETS AND  LARGE DRAWER TO GO AND THEN THERE'S THE WEEKLY LIST.  TODAY IS CLEANING MY APPLIANCES, EXCEPT THE FRIDGE WHICH IS ANOTHER WEEK.  ONCE I DO THE FIRST WEEK THE NEXT ONES SHOULD BE EASIER TO CLEAN AND REORGANIZE.  I HOPE I CAN STICK TO IT.

I NEED TO USE UP SOME CHICKEN BREASTS SO I AM PLANNING A CHICKEN AND NOODLE CASSY TOMORROW.  TODAY I WANT SOME POTATO PANCAKES.  NOT TOO MANY THIS TIME.  I NEED TO USE JUST ENUF SOUR CREAM TO HAVE ENUF LEFT FOR THE CASSY TOMORROW.

I WILL DO SOME READING IN THE COMMON ROOM TODAY HOPING TO CATCH ONE OR TWO OF THE PLANNING LADIES.
STAY SAFE AND WARM.  HUGS, QB S

Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

Afternoon y'all!

Janet! I get that.  My hubby decides to start washing the dishes, and loading the dishwasher as I cook!  That means I have to go the long way around the kitchen to get to the sink.

Seems quiet here today!

I found a recipe for Caramel Coffee Poke cake.  Sounds yummy and easy to make.  I am planning on making lemon cookies this afternoon.

Mom's taxes have been emailed and I received a response that she got them.  One step towards being done!

I have been basting the quilt on the dining room table, I will not have enough pins.  I ordered more from Amazon last night.  They should get here tomorrow.  I have done another row of basting today, and will get the remaining pins done too.  I laid them out and opened them up to make the basting go faster.  I go do a few then something else, and repeat.

I was disappointed in the commercial bowl.  Almost like the companies just wanted to get something on the air.  My favorite was the Budweiser commercial.  I love the horses and what they put together was fabulous.  It will be hard to top next year!  I started watching the halftime show and flipped it to the Bugs Bunny Bowl.  I could not understand a word Bad Bunny was saying, so what he was doing made even less sense.  Bugs Bunny made more sense.

I did get another flower on my Grandmothers garden quilt.  I made a few while we were traveling so now to get them on and surrounded by the background fabric.  Feels so good to sew again!  I do need to do an afternoon at the machine.

My goal again this year is to complete started projects.  I have a red, white and blue one, from 1976, that I want to complete.  My MIL was given the kit it by her mom.  Everything is precut, so just sewing involved.  Might get one of my machines and bring it downstairs and sew away!  Although the quiet of the sewing room is nice too! Decisions, decisions!

An abandoned house, in my neighborhood, has been getting an extreme makeover.  It needed it from what I hear.  Today they are putting on a new roof.  Simba hates that noise.  Good thing they can do it in a day!  We had a hard time on the morning walk.  I had to let him go at his comfort level.  I let him look down the street at where the noise was coming from so he would realize our walk takes him away from the noise.  He did fine until the return trip.  He picked up the pace on our street to get home and away from the noise.  Poor puppy!

He was eager to go on the noon walk with hubby!

Nothing else exciting, from my little corner of the world!

Later my Friends!

Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

Caught up reading, so here's the Lyons' latest...   We're just hangin' out with the Olympics.  WE enjoy the winter Olympics more, why, I know not.  Maybe because we're sort of stuck inside, anyway...because I sure like summer more than winter, any year.

ML and I went to a funeral on Saturday  for a person who passed at 95 1/2 a couple of weeks ago.  She was ML's kindergarten teacher.  It was certainly a celebration of a life well-lived with many descendents present and a delicious luncheon.  But most of all a time to catch up with old friends and acquaintances.  These times are becoming rarer and rarer with fewer funerals, now.  Afterwards, we stopped at the grocery for fried chicken for Howard for supper and a frozen pizza for yesterday's supper before the Super Bowl which he watched and I didn't.  I understand it was a "snore"!  I watched 10 mins. of the Half Time Show and had all kinds of negative feelings  and opinions of that travesty!  What's wrong with them?????

QB, thanks for the laughs today.  I may use "Include me out!"  myself, sometime.  It resonated with me!    Hope your Italian sandwich gathering works out.  It sounds like a winner, fun and doable for many of you.  Wish I could come...yum!

Devonne, are Greg and Carter going to Japan on a tour or on their own?  Howard spent a bit of time there while in the Navy and he was impressed with the beauty and the friendliness of the people.  He bought his mother and Jane (his ex) each one of those Japanese geisha dolls which I "inherited"  (guess Jane didn't want hers LOL).  Somewhere along the way, it disappeared...guess I didn't want it either!   (I don't remember.

So, I'd better quit this and carry one.  Have to come up with supper, as always.  Hope you're all having a good day.  It's bright and a bit warmer here.  We still have a complete snow cover, no melting, yet.

Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

Julianna called the Seahawks the Seahorses, which we all decided the name should be changed to! Ralph watched the first half, decided the seahorses were going to win, and went to bed. I was cheering for the Seahorses because the Patriots owner is such a vile human being. I’ve only seen clips of the halftime show, and loved it.

Pix are up on my blog of the clean and organized sewing room! It won’t stay that way long.

I just finished the latest Mercy Carr book by Paula Munier, called The Snow Lies Deep. Mercy is a former service person, and Elvis is her inherited explosives sniffing dog. I think Mercy was an MP. Her husband Troy is a forest ranger, and Susie Bear is his Newfoundland search and rescue dog. This is #7 in the series, and I’ve liked them all. This one takes place Christmas week.

I get my sutures out tomorrow, so tonight is the last dressing change, yay. The bruising is fading and the swelling is going down.

It went all the way up to 24 today! Dinner was soup and salad from Olive Garden. Pro tip, we get the salad with all the dressing on the side, so we can bring home the leftovers and they are not soggy.

Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

Hi, all.

Staying busy here with the Super Bowl and the Olympics.  I won't comment on the Seattle win.  I will stay away from the political overtones of the halftime show, but I will say that someone grabbing his crotch every 2 seconds during a performance watched by lots of kids wasn't appropriate in my view.

The Olympics have been more interesting.  I was sad to see Lindsey Vonn's crash, and of course, the internet trolls are all over her saying that she took a spot from a more deserving skier.  She has been in top form all year, and if she had won, those same people would be fawning all over her.

I have to stop and get an anniversary card tomorrow since the one I ordered hasn't arrived.  If it gets here tomorrow, I'll save the other one for next year.  If the ordered one arrives later, I'll save it for next year.  Now will someone help me remember where I store the saved one?  Valentine's and birthday cards came already.  I ordered holiday cards when they were on sale in January
, so my card buying is over for the year.

My Hoffman challenge is sort of finished.  I will send in the online submission on Wednesday or Thursday and wait to see whether they want the actual quilt.

My other big efforts have been coordinating and booking my trip to Amsterdam with two other ladies.  We have plane tickets, an apartment, and two day trips booked.  I still need to get museum tickets and tickets to the Anne Frank house.  Those are released 6 weeks before the date, so I have another few days before April 7th, the day we want to go.

I walked out of the HOA board meeting the other night seriously questioning my decision to return.  Honestly, some people are just stupid, and then they try to bully us when they make mistakes.  Don't yell at us about receiving multiple letters on a violation when we have evidence in front of us that you received one letter.

Water is boiling for pasta, so I'd better go.

Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

The Mr went to a club with some old work friends to see the Super Bowl, he didn't say much about it, I heard a bit about the entertainment, didn't see any of it, but I do remember Elvis  being banned for his 'gyrations' back in the day, times change, I dislike the rappers of today, I'm old LOL, the boys like some, I like a tune I can hear and words I can understand

DEVONNE sad about the cat, I hope they find one they like, I'm not a sports fan but I do like the Olympics. Watched the guy from the US do the back flip, remember the girl who did one years ago, they didn't like it they LOL seems like it's allowed now.

THERESA I got your Christmas card returned today, for some reason I had not put USA on it, maybe I did to others too, sorry I couldn't figure out why it was returned, then realised that bit was missing. It's been travelling a while.

CAROL Amsterdam is fun, just be really careful of the designated bike lanes on the paths, they won't stop!! I loved having herrings on the bridge, you often see the bridge in pictures, it's so pretty. We had dinner once a long time ago on a boat on the water, no idea if it's still there, wandering the streets is facinating.

I didn't see the skier fall SANDRA but I thought she might, she tore her ACL just 9 days before, I know they want to compete, but medically she wasn't really fit, the ACL is not to be ignored. Awful, just heard she is having 2nd surgery. They have that drive to compete, so I get that, I just couldn't do that to my body.

INDY I am getting my "cool" fix watching, it's been so hot here, it's nice to see the snow. Ober 95 is a pretty good innings as we say, I am sorry for the loss though.

I didn't go to training today, my arm was so sore, she did warn me, but I didn't think it would be this bad, still sore tonight, maybe tomorrow will be better, we had leftovers tonight, I made a hokkein noodle beef dish, lots of veg in it, and it always makes a lot, so we get 2 meals at least out of it.

HOLLY I will go check out your sewing room, I have sewn 2 blocks of Drunkard Path, just need to do the other 2, but I started a new puzzle, this one will send me crazy, I think Julie is punishing me for the Japanese Mt Fuji one She couldn't finish it. I might not finish this, It's Shakespeares World, if I can ever figure out how to post I will put up a pic, perhaps it's an Apple related problem??

Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

TWO-HEADED HEADLINES......
1.  CHILD'S STOOL GREAT FOR USE IN GARDEN.
2.  IDAHO GROUP ORGANIZES TO HELP SERVICE WIDOWS.

HOLLY......I BOUGHT MY FIRST PAULA MUNIER BOOK FOR THAT SERIES LAST WEEK.  FROM 2019, ITS "BLIND SEARCH" WITH THE CHARACTERS YOU MENTIONED.  ITS A GOOD START SO FAR.

I  HAD TO GO TO OUR COFFEE MORNING SO I COULD CATCH UP ON WHAT'S WHAT ON THE VALENTINE'S LUNCHEON.  ITS ON THE 20TH SINCE THE GALS COULD NOT GET COORDINATED.  I WILL BRING THE SLICED HAM AND SLICED BELL PEPPERS.  IT WILL BE THE USUAL GROUP CONTRIBUTING FOODSTUFFS AND  PAPER GOODS BUT THE SIGN-UP SHEET WILL LEAVE ROOM FOR OTHERS TO BRING DESSERTS OR SNACKS OR APPETIZERS. OR NOTHING AT ALL.  WE LIKE TO FEED ANYONE.

WHEN I GOT UP THIS MORNING I DECIDED TO FINALLY HANG A FEW PAINTINGS I HADN'T GOT AROUND TO BECAUSE OF THE 'NO NAIL' RULE WHICH HAS CHANGED.  I AM GLAD I KEPT THE PAINTINGS AND DIDN'T GIVE THEM AWAY.  I ALWAYS LIKED THEM.
I ALSO DECIDED TO SEW.  I WILL TAKE AT LEAST A HALF HOUR RIGHT AFTER LUNCH DAILY TO DO SOME SEWING.
THIS MORNING I WAS SKETCHING 3 SNOOPY MEMES (IS THAT WHAT THE CARTOON SAYINGS ARE CALLED?).  I STILL HAVE 'OSCAR' THE NEIGHBOR'S DOG TO GET STARTED, TOO.
THE CHORES CAN WAIT TIL THIS AFTERNOON.  I WILL HAVE TIME FOR TODAY'S CHORES WITH A TWIST.  INSTEAD OF POLISHING THE FURNITURE, ETC, I WILL JUST DUST AND GET THE POLISHING DONE NEXT TUESDAY INSTEAD.  I HAVE THE 2 BOTTOM CABINETS TO CLEAR OUT AND REORGANIZED TODAY.  THEY ARE THE ONES WITH THE POTS, PANS, COOKING THINGS.  SOME THINGS I NEVER SEEM TO USE SO WILL GO IN A BOX FOR THE WALK-IN CLOSET.

ITS WARMER TODAY, GETTING ABOUT 32 FOR OUR HIGH FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS AND SUNNY.  LOVE IT.
STAY SAFE AND WARM.  HUGS, QB S

Re: ODT SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8 ~ SAT FEB 14

A heat wave! It’s 36 out! Ralph had a dental appointment to start a crown, then I got my sutures out at the dermatologist.

I have to wonder who medically cleared Lindsay to ski so close after her ACL.

No sign of Nancy Guthrie. The family must be frantic. I’ve see several law enforcement people say how strange it is, usually kidnappers want the money right away. I’ve seen several conspiracy theories.
