Good Morning to everyone!! It sounds like lots of excitement going on all over. We are in protect-mode!! Not much going on around here. Just took Frank his coffee (he's still in bed). Have no great plans for the day. I am not very full of energy today, so will just have a lazy day.
Sending lots of love your way, hope you all have a wonderful day, BJ.

Gray out and 38. Such an (not) exciting morning. Changed the shower curtain liner, and we tackled the linen closet, which is a catchall. I had bought plastic bins, so put liquid soap in some, made one for cold and flu, one for first aid supplies. It looks so nice now!
I’ve been seeing videos of the awful road conditions in the Midwest and the west. Semi’s on their sides, car pileups, looks like a real mess.
Devonne, wow! On the drone delivery.
Merry Christmas Eve Eve to all!

Afternoon y'all! ![]()
I have been busy baking and making candies, and Alex's Birthday cake! He's 29 YO now! He needs to date, and stop being a hermit in his house! Off that soapbox! ![]()
I made my last batch of QB's walnut clusters today. They are sitting out right now and I will put them in the fridge shortly! So hard not to eat them all! ![]()
I have delivered all the treats I made, that have to be delivered. I buy those big store brand tubs, with holiday prints, and put cookies etc in them and deliver to neighbors. They all seem to be excited once I deliver them. Makes me feel good! ![]()
Presents are all wrapped, and stocking stuff is waiting for Santa tomorrow night! ![]()
Luke is coming home after work tonight, so he will get here very late. Sara and Alex will get here tomorrow, before church. We try to take one car since parking is at a premium on Christmas eve! ![]()
Still doing my morning walks, I have made 3 more kitchen scarves, 2 for Sara to give to Friends, and one for her, it has the grinch on it. She loves the grinch. We went and bought Grinch fabric from Michaels on Saturday, washed and ironed it, and made the scarf. She took the other towel to use. She was elated! I still have not made one for myself! ![]()
Like many of you my sewing room has exploded everywhere. I need to clean it up and I want to make the lens lounge I bought from the Quilted cow! ![]()
If it comes out good I will make them for the kids and hubby. They go either in the car, weighted bottom, or bedside to give your glasses a safe place to sit. Or use the same thing to put sewing stuff in! The uses are endless! ![]()
Later my Friends! ![]()

I finished my grocery shopping for Christmas dinner today. I do not plan on going out to the stores at all tomorrow. I made a batch of candy treats( Rolo on pretzels with a pecan on top) Easy to do. I plan on making homemade soft caramels tomorrow for Aaron. Like Devonne, I did not make them today because I just may eat them all.
We have way too many sweets, but it is Christmas after all.
The tree looks so bare with just a few gifts, but the kids all asked for cash. Times change for sure.
I have not been in the sewing room for weeks. We paid to have my machine repaired and I have not used it. ![]()
It was 50 degrees today, but gray and drizzly. I guess that is better than snow!! It will be nice for Anthony and family for driving up from Columbus without snow.
Better get off and go put supper dishes away.

I read something enlightening. “It’s not what you eat between Christmas and New Year’s that’s the problem, it’s what you eat between New Year’s and Christmas.”

What a day! Not what I planned. While eating my toast for breakfast, I thought I bit into a seed in the bread. Turned out to be a piece of a tooth broke off which required a trip to the dentist at 11. I already had a hair cut appt. for 1 p.m. so that worked out well enough and the dentist wants to wait on any repair of that tooth until after he does a crown on another tooth that a cusp broke off a while ago. Also, he said that if a pc. had to break, that was best part.
So, then we made a quick trip to WM for a Rx, ate lunch at Culver's, made our last stop at one of the groceries and got home by 3.
I just finished loading the dishwasher which was my plan for this morning.
I can't imagine having groceries or anything else delivered by a drone. Howard has a couple drones he fools with once in awhile. At least one of them was voice-controlled (in some way?) and when it came down in the woods, he was out there calling to it trying to locate it! ![]()
Men (boys) and their toys...
Sweet Dreams.

Good Morning to everyone!! It is raining hard here today, not a very nice pre-Christmas Day, but we'll survive it quite nicely!! The birds are bouncing around on the tree outside the window. Hope they find a nice dry spot to hang out.
I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! BJ.

Merry Christmas Eve! It’s 44 and sunny here, something coming later Friday- maybe snow, maybe rain.
Judy, yikes!
I put the gifts in bag, and sorted out cash and cards. Cleared off the kitchen table, and cleaned out my pocketbook. Checked email, and ordered white yarn from Hersschners, they had 25 cent shipping. Brioche and cranberries are defrosting to make the overnight cranberry eggnog French toast to take to Heather’s.
Now to relax for a while.

Happy Christmas Eve!
I put gift cards in little bags this morning. Gary is coming Christmas night, didn't give me a time, but Greg wanted to open gifts today. Now I know why. He bought me, him and Carter Apple Ipads and it's much easier to set them up when there's not a bunch of other people around. He got pink and silver ones so I could choose which one I wanted. I kept the pink one with a white case.
I didn't get to bake anything yet; the plans changed when Greg wanted to come today. We saved a few presents to open when Gary comes.

I had this all ready to send when friends, Carol and Albert called from Florida...2 HRS AGO
I finally had to beg off to start getting ready to go to ML's for Christmas Eve supper. Good thing I wasn't on for making anything! Andrew is making Italian Wedding soup. We've never had it, but it's one of his specialties. After we eat, when it's dark enough, they're driving us into town to see the beautiful lights around the town square. We are no longer drivers in the dark except in a pinch. Surely not where there could be a lot of other drivers.
Even though we had our "family" Christmas on Sunday, they always do something with us on Christmas Eve and then they open their presents in the morning and spend Christmas day by themselves. It's nice to be spoiled like this. ![]()
I so enjoy the peek into your homes and families that are shared here. When we first started, I had a hard time keeping everyone's kids straight and their names. Piece of cake, now. I don't even have to think what your pets names are. And Trish, I do remember when John was born 20 years ago. Yikes! (and Dean two years later.)
After all the wintry weather, it's balmy and in the 50's today. Snow has vanished, completely. I'm so glad the solstice has come and gone. By the end of January, we'll notice the longer, lighter days. For those pining for a white Christmas, I understand the disappointment. Used to be that way myself.
Have a wonderful Christmas Eve and Merry Christmas, tomorrow. ![]()
