I have been playing with the post image site, for some reason it won't work today, I'll try again later, took some pics of the screens, they are different, I got it work before, so maybe it's me LOL
I just finished my cards, so they will go out tonight, later than I wanted.
SANDRA your pics were lovely, for a second I thought it looked like footprints in the sand, I was looking for the sandy beach, silly me!!

Sandra, that picture sure looked cold! The Christmas Crack is always a hit. My grandkids look forward to it at Christmas since that is the only time we make it. It is an easy one for kids to do also. As Trish mentioned in the recipe link, there is no need to melt the chocolate as it melts on the hot syrup and is easy to spread I use chocolate chips, most times the semi sweet, other times a mix of bitter and milk chocolate. If you like Heath Bars or Score candy bars, you will like this.
Sandra, all of you WH are adorable, but that Snoopy one is my favorite. I have not been in the sewing room for a long while again.
That is too bad about the Post Image site, I liked using it.
Holly, congrats on 40 pounds gone! That is a lot of weight and you are doing it the right way. Slow and steady is the best.

It sounds like several of us are thinking about making special treats at Christmas. I made snickerdoodles and nutmeg logs to take to my quilt guild party on Tuesday. And I'm planning to make fudge and divinity to take to our Christmas gathering with my brother's families on the 20th. I'll decide later what to make when Lynn and Bill come on January 5 and for my trip to David's later.
My past two or three months have been super busy. I made two trips to David's, an overnight trip with guild friends, and several days at Destin with Lynn. Add to that my regular schedule of church activities, exercise class, massages, hair appointments, and doctor visits, there haven't been many days of doing nothing. My A-fib has gotten worse in spite of being on the best med for controlling it so the cardiologist is scheduling an A-V node ablation for January 6. I think I will also be needing cataract surgery sometime in the winter or spring.
In spite of all the busyness, I have still managed to find time to do some sewing. I'm making 6 bowl cozies to give as Christmas gifts and am working on an online mystery quilt.
My two Christmas trees are up and decorated. I asked my cleaning lady to set up the large one for me. The other one is a small table top one that I wanted to have in the front window because the large one is in my family room at the back of the house where I see it but it doesn't show from outside. I did very little other decorating. I hung two wreaths and three evergreen (fake) swags outside but that was quick and easy to do.

Mary Lou, I’ve had two cardiac ablations, one to each side of the heart. That’s when they implanted the Medtronic device under my skin, which sends a constant signal to the company, and the doc reads a report once a month. When I first got it, it had a receiver that looked like a portable phone. When the battery died and it was replaced last spring, tech had improved so that it communicates via blu tooth, and I can check on my phone to make sure it’s transmitting. The worst part of the ablation procedure was having to lay flat for the hours after! I had it done same day, but your doc may want something different.

ok, first image, when you first open web page
2nd image, you pic is uploading
3rd image, you click on this, be exact, a bit off and you get an advertisement.
Then just select the second drop box to copy and post to the (I call it mountain box 😁) next to the link chain above

Holly, I had a cardiac ablation done about a year ago that helped for a while. This one will be at a different area of my heart. I have had a Medtronic bi-v pacemaker/defibrillator for 4 years. I still have that monitor that looks like answering machine. Interesting to hear that tech has improved to use blue tooth. It’s kind of a pain to have to take the monitor when I travel. I agree that laying flat for hours after ablation is annoying.

Good Morning to everyone!! It is pouring rain here this morning, just a lousy day!! I will likely just sit around and watch TV for awhile, not much else to do. I hope you all have better weather and can find something to do today. I just don't have anything to say, so will sign off, wishing you all well, BJ.
Offline
BJ, it is dreary and raining/sleeting here today. Miserable weather for sure.
I made a pan of brownies to take to the kids when Dean takes them home. They like a snack after school and Amelia took the last of my oranges yesterday.
I had ordered Amelia a pair of Sponge Bob pajama pants and I got a pack of 3 women's turtleneck shirts instead.
Amazon said just keep the shirts but now I had to reorder the pants and I don't suppose they will be here in time for Christmas. It does say Dec 22 but I will not count on that.
I need to go do some laundry so wishing you all a good day!

Afternoon y'all! ![]()

I'm glad Janet was able to explain the kitchen scarf. I love them. I too would tuck the towel or throw it over my shoulder, but somewhere along the line it got lost. Hubby and I would later find 3-4 different towels because we kept losing them. They are incredibly easy to make. I did 2 with snoopy Christmas towels and, yes I pulled fabric from my snoopy stash, snoopy fabric. They are very cute. ![]()
QB maybe I too need to get a blog, would be hopefully easier to post pictures. I will look into it. I used to use Picassa until Google took it away! ![]()
I have been busy, sewing, putting up decorations, still need to wrap stuff. Now I am hosting the neighborhood, ladies only, Ornament exchange. We say ornament but it can be anything. Closer to a white elephant but not gag gifts. It's loads of fun! ![]()
Hubby got me a new laptop. He got tired of me not being able to do stuff on my other one because it would take forever to load, just a website, or the email, etc. I had a few choice words for it. Now it's in my sewing room so I can listen to Spotify as I sew. Still need to get used to this one. It works so much better! ![]()
I still have lots of baking and candy making to do. I will try to get a lot of it done before next Wednesday. I will be doing lots of cleaning on that day. With Simba it's not worth cleaning before Wednesday! ![]()
Today, I walked the park, I had lots of layers on. 3 loads of laundry, need to switch the last load. I need to empty the dishwasher and do last nights dishes. Somehow it didn't get done which is unusual for us. Then I need to start wrapping and boxing the rest of my out of town gifts. I want them to go out this week! ![]()
That's my little corner of the world in a nutshell! ![]()
Later my Friends! ![]()

Marylou, you have been a busy lady. So sorry you need to have this procedure done.
G&E leave in the morning for Texas, coming back Tuesday. They decided to fly. The rest of the crew flew out yesterday. He came over and we went to Texas Roadhouse. As always, I got the herb crusted chicken.
Just testing the Post Images site. This is my new air fryer. So far, I really like it.
Post Images is different. When it says "don't have an account? Continue with Google." I ignored that and scrolled down to "Direct Link" and it works.

DEVONNE yes, it is different, if you just do the steps of Upload, then click on the circled bit on the pic, then it takes you straight to where you can select direct Link.
Pain in the neck, and if you are a little off with where you put the cursor OR finger, you get to the ads, so have to hit the "back" button. Love the air fryer, it looks almost like a mini oven, so easy to see things in there.
MARYLOU sorry you have to have the ablation, but better that they can do it, Sounds like a fairly quick procedure.
SANDRA I am slow today, I don't get the Sean Connery joke?? Maybe I need an american accent LOL
Hope the Bingo went well, and you didn't lose too much.
THERESA congrats on the new laptop, they take some getting used to used to, I have enough trouble with the new updates from Apple, the last was interesting, quite a bit changed LOL Still figuring out some things
I'll maybe figure out how to add the Post Image info onto the info that SANDRA so kindly did a while back.
John came over today, I picked up Dean, he went to the mall after his last exam, he looks so different without his moustache, he was told last week to shave, decided he'd better get it done before he got a detention if the same teacher saw it. He is getting an award tomorrow, then he's home for the summer holidays, we don't know what the award is for, could be Business Studies, he topped his grade in that, but they sometimes give for the top 3, so we shall see, he could get Maths Extension as well, and possibly Physics.
I did training this morning, then just played around at home, thought Megan was coming over, but the cleaners were at their house early, so she went home to do her online meeting.
John stayed LOL He likes the company I think.
See you tomorrow, I am hoping to go to see my sis, I'll find out tomorrow morning if she will be home.

1. A GUY CLIMBS INTO AN UBER AND THE DRIVER PROMPTLY DRIVES THRU A RED LIGHT. THE GUY WARNS THE DRIVER TO BE MORE CAREFUL. THE DRIVER RESPONDS, "MY BROTHER DRIVES A TAXI, AND HE DOES THIS ALL THE TIME!"
A FEW BLOCKS LATER, THE UBER BLOWS THRU ANOTHER RED LIGHT AND THE PASSENGER AGAIN TELLS HIM TO SLOW DOWN.
"I'M TELLING YOU MY BROTHER DOES THIS ALL THE TIME."
THE DRIVER APPROACHES A GREEN LIGHT, BUT THIS TIME HE SLAMS ON THE BRAKES.
"ARE YOU CRAZY?" SHOUTS THE PASSENGER. "YOU BLEW THRU RED LIGHTS AND STOP FOR A GREEN?"
THE DRIVER SHRUGS. "I HAVE TO WATCH OUT FOR MY BROTHER!"
TRISH......I GUESS ITS SEAN'S SCOTTISH ACCENT THAT SOUNDS SIMILAR TO US IN THE U.S.
I AM STILL HAVING POP-UPS FROM POST IMAGES. THEY ARE CONTINUOUS. I CLICKED ON 'PROCEED' AT POST IMAGES AND THEN IT ALL STARTED. CAN'T GET RID OF THEM.
I WILL DELETE MY INSTRUCTIONS OF POSTIMAGES IF YOU LIKE. THEY SURE WON'T WORK NOW WITH THE NEW FORMAT. THEN YOU CAN JUST OPEN A NEW ONE WITH THE NEW INFO. LET ME KNOW.
WHAT KEY DO YOU USE TO GO "BACK.?" I HAVE TO LEARN MY CONTROL KEYS BUT LIKE I SAID, I AM ILLITERATE WHEN IT COMES TO COMPUTERS.
HOLLY......I TOO, REALLY NEED A NEW LAPTOP. MINE TAKES SO LONG TO OPEN A PAGE OR SITE. IF I TURN OFF MY PUTER COMPLETELY, THEN TURN IT ON AGAIN, IT TAKES 40 MINUTES TO GET TO WHERE I CAN OPEN MY EMAILS. SLOWWWWWWW. I'M USUALLY NOT IN A HURRY SO I'VE BEEN LIVING WITH IT, BUT NOW ITS GETTING TIRESOME. I HAVE TO SAVE UP FOR A LAPTOP FOR SURE THIS YEAR.
CHERYL......GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR PROCEDURE JAN. 6TH. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ABLATIONS BUT THE NEWS FROM THE OTHER GALS SOUNDS SO PROMISING. NEW METHODS WORK WONDERS. GOOD LUCK.
DEVONNE.....I LOVE THE LOOK OF YOUR AIR FRYER. LOOKS LIKE A TINY OVEN. HOW DO YOU LIKE IT SO FAR?
I MADE HERSHEY'S OLD-FASHIONED CHOCOLATE FUDGE YESTERDAY BUT NEED TO MAKE MORE TODAY. ALSO THE WINTER RASPBERRY COOKIES ARE ON THE MENU. THEY ARE THE SAME RECIPE AS THE POINSETTA COOKIES WHICH I COULD NOT GET DESIGNED PROPERLY SO I JUST MAKE THEM IN ROUND COOKIES WITH POWDERED SUGAR ON TOP AND MY SON LOVES THEM.
ALSO THE LAUNDRY NEEDS DOING TODAY. SO NO CRAFT MORNING FOR ME OTHER THAN TO STOP BY TO LEAVE A MESSAGE FROM ONE OF OUR GALS WHO HAS A BAD COLD AND CAN'T COME TO OUR TAPAS NITE FRIDAY. I WILL BRING HER A PLATE FROM THE PARTY.
THAT'S IT LADIES. I NEED TO GET MOVING.
HAVE A LOVELY DAY. HUGS FOR YOU ALL, QB S ![]()

Trish, I think "dishes" is supposed to mean "this is" Sean Connery.
Greg found a great deal on LG appliances so I am getting him to order me a new dryer. Mine will be 19 years old next year. Still works great, but don't want it to suddenly go out on me. I ordered the pedestal too. It really helps get the dryer higher if you have back issues. Merry Christmas to me, lol. ![]()
Theresa, congrats on the new laptop! Did you get a Mac?
I hope this neck/shoulder pain goes away soon. I need to get my house cleaned! I got out a few more Christmas decorations yesterday. Today I will leave the tv off so I can get some things done, lol. ![]()

My DH has been in aFib for at least 20 years. They tried experimental drugs after most of the conservative drugs failed. He had at least 2 cardio conversions, both failed . Ablation was not an option, can’t remember why? He is very active, running, etc. It has not slowed him down and the drs consider his aFib to be manageable for him. He was seen by top cardio’s in NYC.
I think his best cardiologist was in NY and we did keep going back to him even after we moved to NC, but now he is on his second cardiologist down here. I truly think he knows more than most of the cardiologist in the area. Fortunately , he has never had an episode that required emergency intervention. We rarely talk about it as it has never affected his life style.
DH is at the grocery store doing the weeks shopping. They are predicting light snow around here tomorrow and again Sunday. We should have moved further south….

Good day all.
Sandra, I think it is MaryLou who is having the heart procedure. I, too, am sending her well wishes for that.
Amelia wants to make some cut out sugar cookies to decorate, so I need to make sure I have the ingredients for that recipe. I have cut way way back on the sweets that I make now since we no longer work and I cannot take the extras in there. Dean used to take them to the auto shop and after he retired, I took them to school. Now they just go to waste since we do not eat all that sweets. It is a shame because I love to make all sorts of cookies and candies for Christmas. It seems like nobody wants home made things to be donated an I can understand the reasoning.
It is snowy, windy and cold. I am not going out. My elderly neighbor locked herself out of her house yesterday. Dean walked her back home (and her little dog) and got her back in. Now she has a spare key in her outdoor shed.
She is the sweetest lady and she will be 94 this summer. She is totally independent living in her home, but her DDIL stops by often and oversees things.
Nothing else to say, so will close for now.

Janet, my mom was not a candidate for ablation, doc said her heart walls were thickened. Could that be Mr. Hyde’s issue?
Sandra, it’s Theresa who got the new laptop. I used my so seldom that Ralph has it. I use the iPad or the Apple PC.
I puttered in the kitchen while Ralph was at breakfast. Later I spent a couple hours in the sewing room. Made 2 bowl cozies, and cut the fabric Manda picked out for her family’s 4. Now my knees are complaining, so I’m sitting with a cup of tea.
Cheryl, I saw on a blog that the lady freezes the cookie dough in dollops, then bags it. When she and her husband want a sweet, she bakes 4 or 6 cookies.
it’s 37 and windy, but clear. The weather guy commented that the snow either goes north or south of us.

QB My laptop was the same way, but it started out like that and just got worse. I would turn it on and wait 30-40 min for it to warm up, another few to get to the "type in your code" then a good 10 or so minutes to get to the web page, and the time keeps stacking from there! This one is awesome! ![]()
DS I got a Lenovo. The Mac was too expensive! ![]()
Holly mine travels with me. Especially when mom was alive. I needed to be able to digitally sign stuff, but I wanted to read what I was signing and the iPhone is too hard to read that much detail! ![]()
Well I got the packages ready to mail last night and they went to the PO today. I sent each recipient a copy of the tracking number. I don't trust the PO. ![]()
I have been to the park for my walk, PO, to Walgreen's for cotton balls and the Russell Stover truffles jumped into my hands. Then to a friends to deliver her gift. Home, fixed the hanging part of a Christmas wreath. Getting ready to head upstairs to wrap more stuff, thus allowing me to get my bedrooms decorations put up. I have a little tree that goes in front of the picture window, It can be seen from the road! Looks really cool at night. That way there is something in every window seen from the road! ![]()
I have found a new cookie recipe to try this year. Italian Christmas cookies. Sound yum! It's all time dependent! Also found a pressed cookie recipe. Similar to cookie mold, cookies, just different enough. They are called Springerle. I have a teddy bear cookie press, I can finally use it! ![]()
Need to run and work on my bedroom, wrapping and cleaning and decorating, and who knows what else! ![]()

Sandra, I love the air fryer so far. Tomorrow I am trying the Bake feature.
I watched a lady on YT make all kinds of fudge using different chips (dark chocolate, white chocolate, mint) and different cake frostings. It all looked delicious. She added mint extract when she made the chocolate mint fudge and lemon extract to the lemon fudge. Interesting!
