Just going to say "hello". I've started three times and three times my screen has flashed and it's gone. Something must be affecting my laptop, so I'll come back later. I need to stir up some potato salad using canned potatoes. Wonder if it'll be edible?
I must say, as a group, we're all over the place right now. More later...

Tremendous t storms and heavy rains . Lucky they delivered the furniture before it started. Flooding in the area. We are high and dry. DH is in a bad mood, as usual. I’m not much better today. Everything seems to pi** me off lately. I didn’t even go down to look at the new furniture. About time DH took care of something.
It’s cold here…68*. A few days ago it was 93. Give me the high temps any time.
We were going to go out to dinner but it’s raining too hard. He doesn’t like to eat out….so good excuse for him I guess. I think I’ll go to bed.

Devonne, I used to go to Sams Club years ago when my boys were little. My SIL and I used to go so we could share the snacks and food for the kids. She had 2 and I had 2. I don't go to any of them because I cannot use that huge size of anything. My DIL wanted to give me a member ship to Costco for Christmas and I told her I would most likely not use it.
Devonne, so sorry that you lost another fur baby in your family that he should make an area just for the dogs. That would cut down on the fencing expense and save their lives.
Trish, your drive sounds very nerve wracking. Glad you made it home with no problems.
Carol, so sorry for the injury. Good luck and have fun on your trip. A few years ago my coworker went alone to England, Scotland and Wales for a trip. She met a man in a pub in Scotland and now she has a Scottish husband! Golly, his accent is so heavy I can barely understand him. He moved here with her and they plan to move to Scotland when she retires. She was just name Superintendent at the school where I worked.
Sandra, prayers for your granddaughter. Hope they find the reason for her headaches.
Today was a beautiful day. Dean brought Amelia over here for the day because he wanted to get the grass cut. Gabriel is still at band camp and her dad did not want Amelia to stay alone during the day. They live 20 minutes from us, so Dean had been going over there all week. Anyway, he brought her here and brought Bosco along. We were outside all morning and afternoon. Dean said as soon as he got into the house, the dog was on the couch snoring! We wear him out here. He is inside most of the day at his house.
Sending positive thoughts to you all!! I am going back outside for a while.

Oh No SANDRA I am so sorry Gina was been so unwell, I will certainly keep her in my thoughts and prayers, I hope they can figure it out soon, and she can recover quickly, hopefully it is something simple like meds interacting badly with each other, that happened to my dad once (((hugs)))
You are doing so well with your exercises, keep it up, the ones HOLLY said too, there are also lots of YouTube for chair exercises both you and DEVONNE may be interested in.
CHERYL too funny about him being so tired he goes straight to sleep, like minding a toddler isn't it??
We had a Scottish driver for our tour, but one day we got Eddie as a replacement for the day - my goodness, Eddie was unbelievable - we couldn't understand a word, he pulled up to the parking attendant in Birmingham (they have heavy accents too) and they conversed and we set off to park, we asked Darren our normal driver later how the parking attendant understood him he said they probably didn't and that HE couldn't understand Eddie either, Darren believes that they just listen, point and hope he gets to where he needs to be LOL
JANET we have had really heavy rain here today all day, it's been nasty, glad I didn't have it yesterday I wouldn't have gone to the hospital, the rain I got was bad enough. Sorry it's been unpleasant there, hide in the sewing room, you might get some peace!
DEVONNE so nice of you to take Gary out, he will beat himself up about this for a while, I'm glad Hannah showed him she cares.
INDY I lost my post a few days ago, got a lot back, I had remembered to copy it, this site plays up sometimes, a couple days ago I just couldn't log in, the page kept doing that 'thinking' thing, was so annoyed, I tried a few times and gave up, but it worked fine later in the day.
We had training today, it was pouring, but we used the school hall, felt quite strange, some of the group are doing a walk tomorrow for a cure for Mitochondrial disease (Mito ) it's a 35klm walk from Palm Beach to Manly along the cliffs around the harbour mostly, I think that would be around 19-20 miles. Poor things the rain is still supposed to be happening. They have been training with long walks every Sunday starting with 5klms and increasing 5klm each week till they got to 25klm last week, they have raised over $5000, and there is only 5 of them, so they've done well.
Other than that I made my chowder tonight, and we had that with some nice crusty bread for dinner. If only I could get some of that gorgeous Maine lobster I would make it with lobster instead LOL That would be yum!

ANOTHER FROM READER'S DIGEST.....
WHEN MY HUSBAND EXPERIENCED CHEST PAINS, I INSISTED WE CALL 911.
"NO AMBULANCE!" HE INSISTED THROUGH GRITTED TEETH. "DRIVE ME TO THE HOSPITAL."
"WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS ON THE WAY?" I SAID. "I WON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO."
"DON'T WORRY," HE REASSURED ME. "I COMPLETED A CPR COURSE LAST WEEK AT WORK."
ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL DAY HERE IN MAINE. IN THE 70S AND SUNNY.
I MADE THAT PORK CHOP AND RICE CASSY LAST NITE AND SHARED WITH 2 OTHERS ASKING THEM TO REPORT BACK TO ME. I THOUGHT IT TASTED TOO SALTY BUT I DID NOT ADD ANY EXTRA SALT. MAYBE IT WAS IN THE LIPTON DRY ONION SOUP MIX OR THE CANNED CREAM OF CHICKEN SOUP. ANYWAY, I WILL LOOK FOR ANOTHER PORK CHOP AND RICE CASSY THAT DIFFERS. OR I WILL ELIMINATE THE DRY ONION SOUP MIX.
MY CHORES FOR TODAY ARE ON MY USUAL LIST FOR SATURDAY. I DID GOOD YESTERDAY. MANAGED TO GET IT ALL DONE BY EVENING. TOOK SEVERAL REST PERIODS THRU THE DAY. SEEMS I REALLY NEED THOSE IN MY LIFE. YOU WOULD THINK I WOULD FEEL TIRED AND FALL SLEEP EARLIER BUT I STILL WAS WIDE AWAKE AT 3 A.M. THEN STRUGGLED TO FALL ASLEEP. I SLEPT TIL 6, THEN AGAIN TIL 9 SO NOT TOO BADLY. A BIT TIRED BUT NO TOO MUCH.
MY GRDAU WAS DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL AFTER TONS OF TESTS. HER NEURO DR PUT HER ON A BLOOD PATCH THAT SEEMS TO BE WORKING RIGHT NOW. I'M CROSSING MY FINGERS. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND POSITIVE THOUGHTS FOR HER.
THAT'S IT LADIES. STAY SAFE. HUGS FOR ALL, QB S
