DEVONNE I am so glad Molly is doing better, you will know when it's time, and I hope it's a long time (((hugs)))
SANDRA good report from you too, rest when you can, and enjoy the Bingo and craft group!
JANET hope you are feeling much better, not like you to be sick for so long, although the flu this year has been particularly bad.
INDY no, don't wast time to have some quiet time, I enjoy mine sometimes I would like him around a little more though.
HOLLY we have vets who come out too, but I wanted our normal vet when it was time with Buddy, the boxes are very pretty for the remains, a =19.5pxlovely memorial
MARYLOU good to get all the moves around done sounds like you have a great space, you are lucky you have good people around, I do all the things for my car, actually almost everything around here, he 'trims' the bushes, plants - YIKES for that I mean basically cut down, he pruned the roses this week, they WILL come back, eventually
I had a terrible reaction to getting my eyebrows tinted, what is that saying? "vanity thy name is woman" something like that, and it's true, had almost chemical burns on my brows, and my eyes were like slits, got an emergency appt with Dr and on steroids, cold compress and triple antihistamines. Fun times LOL
At least the swelling has gone down a bit today, yesterday was pretty bad.
I will never get that done again!!
It's bedtime for me, almost 9.45pm, the electric blanket is heating up the bed before I get into it, and I have an early start, need to get the oven on at 6.30 for the bread. Then to training, couldn't go yesterday, I wouldn't have been able to see properly LOL lucky I didn't have to go far to the Drs.

Today is my grandson’s 14th bday! Hard to believe. I think His mother is taking him to Vegas…that was what he wanted?? Nice to have that kind of money.
MaryLou- luckily your battery went at home.
DH was planning to go to PA for a big car show this weekend…we go every year. He said he wouldn’t go if I didn’t. He cancelled because of the rain prediction…it’s 5 hours each way. Long ride for a chance the weather could ruin it. So instead he is walking around mumbling and complaining about everything. …well, he does that a lot anyway but it’s gotten worse lately. He just left for the dr because he has pain in his heel. He’s only had the pain since May 😵💫 and finally went. It’ll be interesting to see what she says. His regular PA is on leave so he’s seeing someone new…I’m sure it won’t go well and his opinion of medical care around here has been awful. Wish we could turn back the clock…..

I LOST MY POST. SHOULD HAVE SUBMITTED IT AFTER THE FIRST COUPLE OF PARAS.
MANGLED MODIFIERS......
EDWIN NEWMAN, AUTHOR OF 2 BOOK-OF-THE-MONTH CLUB BOOKS ON THE ABUSE OF LANGUAGE, HINTED IN A SPEECH TO NEARLY 1300 PERSONS IN THE MEMORIAL UNION THEATER THAT EFFORTS TO IMPROVE LANGUAGE MAY BE THE RESULT OF ATTACKS ON POMPOUS, WEIRD LANGUAGE SUCH AS HIS.
GRAY DAY HERE TODAY. LOOKS LIKE MORE RAIN. NICE TEMPS THO.
MARYLOU.....LUCKY YOU THE BATTERY DIED WHILE YOU WERE AT HOME. GLAD YOU GOT A NEW ONE QUICKLY.
I HAVE A BLACK N DECKER EVENSTREAM IRON. LOVE IT. BOUGHT IT AT WALMART ABOUT 10 OR MORE YRS AGO. IT HAS AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF AND I'VE NEVER HAD LEAKAGE. THE TRICK IS TO BE SURE THE IRON IS WELL HEATED BEFORE YOU START IRONING.
DEVONNE.....I HOPE THAT MOLLY DOES BETTER ON THE NEW FOOD. I KNOW YOU WANT TO KEEP HER AROUND AS LONG AS YOU CAN.
TRISH.....YIKES, POOR YOU. I DON'T EXPECT YOU WILL HAVE THAT TREATMENT AGAIN IN FUTURE. ITS GOOD YOU HAVE MEDS NOW AND ARE ON THE HEALING PATH.
AS FOR ME, A NORMAL DAY HERE. MY ONLY NEEDED CHORE IS TO TAKE OUT THE TRASH. OTHER THAN THAT, THE USUAL SMALL CHORES AND COOKING AND RELAXING.
STARTED A NEW JIGSAW PUZZLE YESTERDAY AND WENT TO CRAFT MORNING. I ALWAYS ENJOY THAT. I ALSO MADE A POT OF MASHED POTATOES. I HAVE MY MEAL PLAN FOR THE NEXT 3 DAYS AND WITH 4 SERVINGS OF MASHED, THEY WILL BE THE SIDE FOR THE NEXT 3 MEALS. I HAD SOME WITH MY SINGLE BURGER ON MY PLATE WITH SLICED TOMATOES FOR SUPPER LAST NITE. MY SNACK LAST EVENING WAS ONLY HALF A GLASS OF SODA AND A BIT OF CHEDDAR CHEESE. I WANT TO LOSE THAT WEIGHT.
OH, AND I ORDERED A NEW BATHROOM SCALE. MINE DIED. THIS NEW ONE USES AAA BATTERIES SO NO HASSLES WITH THE WEIRD BATTERIES.
HAVE A GOOD DAY. HUGS, QB S

Good Morning to everyone!! It is a very still morning, not a cloud in the sky and not a leaf is moving. I have no plans for the day, not sure anyone is coming by, so will be a quiet day. Have a wonderful day, everyone, BJ.

Trish, what a terrible thing to happen to you! I have never heard of tinting your eyebrows.
I went by the vet's office and picked up a bag of Protein HF kidney function food for Molly and one wet can. She hasn't taken one bite yet. I may have to buy some low sodium chicken broth to mix with it. The goal for the new food is less protein and less phosphorus. I will try to hand feed her and see if she eats it. The pieces are too big for her tiny teeth so I added water to it. Now it's soggy, lol. Any ideas on what to add to it? It's my fault for feeding her human food. I often mixed chicken and rice with her food, now she can't have that; sometimes ground beef.
Greg is showing my vehicle. One guy wanted to take it to Pep Boys for an inspection. That's where they are at now. I'm pretty sure it needs front brakes. Fingers crossed they find nothing else wrong! I will give Greg money for his Toyoko trip to help him out.
Met a friend for lunch and she was 30 minutes late. She said she was moving slow today. I asked her if she wanted to change it to next week and she said she was on the way. Why didn't she leave earlier? I don't do this to people.

Devonne, our Bailey has that mix of dry and wet food. We mix a little low sodium chicken broth and some pumpkin in it. The pumpkin helps with intestinal issues. Don't beat yourself up for feeding her human food. We never fed Bailey anything except a bit of broccoli, and she still ended up needing the special diet.

Just to add my 2c worth DEVONNE Megan has always fed their guys a mixture recommended by the breeders. For yours I would suggest quantities of 1/2lb white rice, 1/2lb ground beef and some grated carrot, pumpkin and sweet potato, cook the rice and fry off the meat, just lightly, so it's cooked but not crispy brown, and add grated veg to the meat when it's nearly done. No salt or seasonings, mix them all together and cool, then into sandwich bags (small zip lock bags) in portions for her, flatten them out to get all the air out, and freeze, They freeze it and then each night take out the next nights and just leave in fridge to thaw, they warm it just a touch in the microwave -- they make double or triple that mix LOL huge pot of food.
.
Run it by the vet and see what he thinks, it's easy to do a big batch, they can do a few weeks and freeze if they are going away, the dogs also have dry food in the morning.
SANDRA sounds like you are doing well now, I am so happy about that, and NO I will not be doing that again LOL I will let my brow powder give a little colour to my grey brows. Still itchy, but at least my eyes are less swollen!
I forgot to answer you DEVONNE Chloe (Granddaughter) and Chalon (daughter) are Gary & Diannes the other Chloe who is pregnant is my sis's daughter, too many Chloes LOL And she has just had to have an iron infusion, this will have to be her last pregnancy, it's too risky to have another, they did want 3 kids, but she is more important.
It's been beautiful day here today, blue skies and warmer, still sweater weather, but it was nice to have the house open in the middle of the day.
I have been trying to clear out books, found the complete set of Outlander and also Twilight (the vampire ones) so, so old, put them on neighbourhood Facebook page and they are being picked up tomorrow, we have too many books just in book cases, lots I will get to the street libraries for people to take, but these are full sets. I may be able to clear 2 full bookcases when the Mr goes away in 2 weeks.
He has come home from competition today feeling unwell, he was supposed to play tomorrow, but they were beaten today so now are out, and we had been invited to lunch with our UK tour friends, he said he could go to that now -- not a chance if he's not well, I won't let him pass anything on. So he can be bored at home, silly man wasn't well this morning, but wanted to play, so he'll pay the price now, only hope he hasn't already passed it on, but he got it somewhere I guess.
I didn't sleep well last night, taking the extra antihistamine kept me awake for some reason, don't really feel too tired now, but I should pass out soon, no more drugs after tomorrow. LOL those darn steroids make me hungry, I could eat all day today and still not fill up.
Back to my binding, I am almost finished, so she can have the baby anytime now LOL

Thanks, Carol and Trish. I will need to go to the store and get some fixings to make Molly some food. I'll try the low sodium chicken broth first and add a little pumpkin. I don't blame her for not eating this food. It's kinda like a dry fiber. I opened the wet can this morning and she just pushed it away with her chin. I am not letting her starve. Trish, that is what I was making them before, but I added turkey and ground beef. Way too much protein for her.
Greg sold my Highlander for $5,200. We only paid $9,000 when we bought it, so that's amazing to get that much for an 18 year old vehicle. The Pep Boys guy told the potential owner "it's a Toyota. I wouldn't get it inspected; just buy it." Greg said "I did not slip him $50 under the table to say that." He made a video for me of the guy driving away in it. I will miss it for sure!
My car insurance was $1,000 every 6 months with both vehicles. It went down to $612 every 6 months when I canceled the Highlander this morning. Greg canceled the registration with the state. I didn't know you had to do that, but it takes the vehicle out of my name.
I decided to wash my bed linens. It's time consuming but had to be done. The topper is so bulky. That and the comforter take 40 minutes each to dry. I used to hang the topper on the back of the sofa, but now I dry everything in the dryer. It's a front loader so makes it easier to get them in there. Now the bathroom rugs are in the washer. I have to lower the spin on those. My goal is to clean the bathroom and my bedroom today. If I feel like it, I'll start on the living room.
It's a scorcher here for the next 5 days, in the 90's. I am not a fan of summer time. It's so miserable when you can't take the heat.

Hot here also! 88 already. I took Claritin, but my ears still feel plugged up.
I got the accu feed up and running on the S6. I did a set of coasters this morning, and have another set ready to sew. My order from Fat Quarter shop came in, I got more charm packs. I use them for table runners and coasters.
I’ve gotten hooked on Facebook reels. They go from welcome home soldier videos, to book reviews, to cooking videos, to political videos, to bad weather videos, and more. Easy to get lost in them!
We’re still eating turkey! I think one more sandwich, then I’ll freeze the rest.
For over 40 years I changed the sheets every Friday night, by myself. Then came the thicker mattresses, sigh. Now it takes both of us to get the bottom sheet on.

I didn't go to the funeral visitation this morning. After this "out and about every day" week, I decided against it. Will send a card, instead. Waiting to hear back from ML if she went. She just texted me and said she was at a fabulous estate sale and wished I was with her. I do too, but I could have my own estate sale here! Hard to give up a activity that brought so much pleasure, but I'm trying to part with stuff not add more, and more I would have!
Our small group was just that, small. Only 7 of us due to surgeries with two of the couples.
Don, our host, is a great cook and even makes burgers special. Plus he fried the raw onions in a bit of butter. Yum. I'm going to do that! For me...Howard won't eat onions that way, only hidden in soups or meatloaf, etc. We still enjoyed the time together as always.
Devonne, if sodium is a problem, too, I think you can get salt-free chicken broth. Anything to help those tiny kidneys. I should have made food for Harry who had pancreatitis and then needed a special diet, but I just paid for it at the vet. Congrats, on selling the Highlander and that you got that much for it. Sons can be MIA but yours are both in your life and taking care of you. No, don't get married again. At this stage, you'd just be a "purse" or a "nurse", me thinks.
Trish, good grief! Wonder what on earth was in that dye or whatever was used on your eyebrows. Bad as it was, I'm so glad you didn't have something done to your lashes--even closer to your eyeballs. Take care of yourself... Poor Chloe. This must be so hard. In a way, though, I'm glad it's not beastly hot summertime while she's carrying.
Need to go. Have put off washing my hair long enough. Now's the time. I've been listening to the next door rooster crowing and my favorite, the wren, loudly singing. Summertime, summertime, sum-sum-sumertime!

Good evening friends!
Devonne, I would have zero interest in another man at this stage in life, let alone get married again! It took me 50 years to "train" Dean Congrats on selling your Highlander. I love those cars for sure, but won't pay the price for another one. Judy, I just about spit out my tea when I read "purse or nurse" HAHAHA
Trish, so sorry about your eyebrows! My DIL had that happen to her a few years ago. She ended up in the hospital with cellulitis. She is very sensitive that way. I just get mine waxed every so often with the gal who cuts my hair. Since I retired, I don't even do that as much.
Devonne, glad Molly is doing better today.
Aaron and family are in California, so Bosco is staying with us. He is my shadow since his dad is away. We will go to Aaron's house to check on his cat tomorrow. She is fine a few days alone.
It was really hot today and we need rain, so hoping for some showers tonight. I had to water my plants today as some of them were droopy, especially my hydrangea.
