Good Morning to everyone!!! I have been missing for a couple of days, not staying in touch very well. I'm doing okay, not great!! We are having a beautiful day, sun is shining. It is a bit breezy. Tracy is here and we're getting ready to go out and drive around, not sure where we're going. I know she told me, but I'm not feeling very bright, so don't remember!!
Can't believe it is nearly July! Well, I don't have much to say, so will sign off, wishing you all well. Sending love and best wishes, BJ.

We had a very good time eating out with our friends, yesterday. Beef bombs and Sicilian salad were delicious. Unbelievably, two 1/2 bombs (plenty) 1 small salad, and one large pop cost only $14. I always get water. Save my pop drinking for at home, and only occasionally.
Trish, what a nice memory-maker for your guys. Sweet about the dog. I think IF you have them at your home, it's always both, right? The other dog would wonder and feel left out.
Theresa, maybe this new, unknown place would actually be the right one for your Mom. She will need more care as time goes on and might not be able to stay in assisted living for too long. I'm just thinking of how it was for my mom--the series of step down places she ended up needing. Anyway, nice that it's close and has good reviews... We forget something major every time, too!
Janet, thanks for replying to QB, too. I didn't know the "S" stood for somewhere...since Howard's bunch always goes to the same place. And, never having heard it before, thought it was unique to here. Not so, I see...
It's another scorcher today and Shena and Tom's (nextdoor) a/c went out yesterday. He's an HVAC repairman, and has another he can install. Howard is supposed to be mowing/weed whacking. He's sitting in the L.R. cooling off after the first round of that. I wish he'd work at it over a few days time, but he wants to tear through to get it done, and thus hates the job. But, I'm butting out with him...only saying that to you.
Happy Anniversary, BJ and Frank. Many happy returns...does anyone say that anymore and what does it mean?
Andrew came home on the South Shore electric train last evening. The day before 5 people in a SUV whose driver ignored the signals and went around the gates were all killed by a South Shore. Terrible as that is, I'm glad he wasn't on that train. Besides the delay, even more, it's so traumatic for the passengers. He's looking for an apt, in Chicago with parking so maybe the trains will be in the past, soon.
Needing to get busy and carry on here. I have a lb. of ground beef thawing for supper. Have no idea what I want to do with it. Not interested in anything...
Have a good day.

Holly, such sad memories for you lately. Your new machine will bring you some joy!
I'm going to be spending some big bucks on Molly. She has a heart murmur and I noticed last night she was breathing heavily, also limping on her right foot. She seems better today, but I'll make her an appt. for next week. She will need x-rays and/or an echocardiogram. She is just the sweetest little girl! Follows me all over the house, even when I go to the bathroom.
Amazon Prime days are coming up July 8-11. I've never found any great deals during prime days, but I will look, lol.
Cheryl, I hope Aaron's a/c got fixed. I found an a/c company that comes 3 times a year for $150. He came last week and said everything was fine. He told me you should never have to add coolant to my unit. Maybe a/c systems are better these days??
Judy, I also had a lb. of ground beef and I made burgers with all of it last night. Sadie Grace wanted a hot dog, which she didn't even eat. I like to use my flat griddle when I'm making this much meat. I use it for pancakes too.

Just stopping by to say hi! I’m still not feeling well. The next time I brag about not being able to remember the last time (at least 10 hrs) I was sock . Please slap me!

Judy, about 3 years ago Ralph finally gave in and got a lawn guy. He also does the neighbor, so he comes from there on his big stand on mower and does our front and back in less than a half hour! Ralph doesn’t have him weed whack, Ralph still does that. What would take Ralph a good part of the day gets done in a jiffy.
