Theresa, you make me want to go buy a lemon tree, lol! Prayers for your Mom. How wonderful she has lived such a long life.
I am down to 5 more radiation treatments,,,no redness nor skin irritation yet, but I suspect it's coming, As I told Greg, "another one bites the dust," lol! I met with the oncologist yesterday. He said everything looks great and asked if I had been using lotion. My reply, "every single day!"
I went by Home Depot to look at their flowers, saw petunias I liked and marigold, picked out 3 tomato plants, and decided I'm not up to doing this right now. Maybe soon?
It has gotten so expensive to eat out. Yesterday it was $14.52 at Captain D's and today it was over $14 at Zaxbys....for one person! I just got a house salad and a small drink. It's the drinks that are so expensive now.
Judy, hope this doctor can help ML. As a mom, we worry no matter how old they are.

Holly is correct. DH has been in perpetual Afib for years and years and years. It hasn’t slowed him down at all and except for the arrhythmia he has no other side effect. He jogs and works out regularly. I think he’d be more surprised and concerned if he had a normal heart rate on day. lol. He’s had cardio conversions, experimental drugs most of which are common now a days. He sees his cardio twice a year with no changes. The dr just smiles and says see ya next time. 🤷♀️

Theresa- so sad that the mom saga continues. 🙏🏻

Good Morning to everyone!! I'm not feeling very bright this morning, but am moving on! It is so still outside, but very sunny, which is a nice thing. I have no plans for the day, expect Rhonda will be here shortly. Squirrels are messing around outside, nothing wrong with that!!
Tracy just called, she's on her way to Seattle to have some more work done on her face. Will be really nice when that's all done!!! Well, I think I really have nothing more to say, so will sign off, wishing you all well, BJ.

Sandra, that’s great that there is a crafting group! Sew and chat!
I got some sad news. Carol, a member of my cookie group and a friend for 45 years, died. She’d been pretty much homebound with lymphedema for years. She was watching tv with her DH, made an odd sound, and died. Cremation, and a memorial service later.
My mom had a giant hosta called Madam Wu, named by the hosta company, not by mom. It was in a big Rubbermaid tub, and after she died I got custody. (Mike got the 6 foot tall indoor plant.) she lives in the tub in a shaded area under a tree. She dies down every winter, and comes back up in the spring. The leaves get to be like a foot square! She’s already up several inches, so Heather came up yesterday to take a chunk of the root. She has to plant it where the deer won’t get to it.

Holly, so sorry about your friend. That's a long friendship.
BJ, sending best wishes for Tracy.
Remember the pink rose bud I posted? Here it is in full bloom. The yellow rose bush has a lot more roses. I haven't been to see the pink ones at the end. I was barefoot & there's a big ant bed there, lol.

Tracy put on Facebook that her Jamie is having bypass surgery today, so let’s send him and her good thoughts.
Meatloaf and mashed for dinner tonight.
Got up and started sorting papers, and starting a box for our community shredding event next month. I have to go thru more often! So much paper!
Then I did the sewing on two sets of spring coasters, two more to go. Ralph wanted to go out to lunch, but I want to keep my appetite for dinner, so we had soup here.
Devonne, your roses are so gorgeous! We had a frost advisory last night!

Good Morning, well, I wound up in the hospital this morning. Fell, when I got up to go to bathroom and couldn't get up. Frank called the Fire Dept. and they came and got me and took me to hospital. Now I'm home with lots of bruises on my right leg, right arm and on my forehead. What a mess!!!!!
It's a beautiful day here, the sun is bright and it is 54* outside. Rhonda came and got me at hospital and got me home. I just woke up at 10:30 and feel pretty good. Doubt I'll be doing a thing today, just sit around and get well!! Just wanted to say Hi to everyone. Have a wonderful day, BJ.

PRAYERS AND POSITIVE THOUGHTS FOR JAMIE AND HIS SURGERY TODAY. HE'S SUCH A GEM HE NEEDS TO HEAL AND GET HOME TO HIS FAMILY SOON. HUGS, JAMIE.
NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS....
CHECK OUT MY BLOG TO SEE MY 'EASTER EGG TREE' WH WHICH I WILL HANG ON MY DOOR. I GOT IT FINISHED JUST IN TIME.

Cute, QB. Glad you got it done just in time. Last week, I got my Spring WH hanging up and my ceramic cross on the clasp of my old glass-fronted hutch. Guess that'll be it.
BJ, so glad you're not badly injured. Sore, I'm sure and bruises always look worse as they heal--that "lovely" greenish-yellow color. Good thoughts for Jamie and Tracy, too. You and Frank will have to hold down the fort by yourselves for a bit, well except for dear Rhonda.
We were to have met with our Small Group this afternoon, but instead had to cancel when another couple couldn't make it. I had gotten a cheesecake circle of various flavors for dessert, the first time I've ever bought anything. I hope it will freeze okay as that's where it is for two weeks til we try again. We were half glad and half sad, our usual stance when we are going somewhere. Don't tell any of them!
But, our Good Friday service is being live-streamed tonight, so we'll "attend" that. I even have made myself a reminder note!
Are probably going to do Easter dinner next weekend when Andrew comes home. I say "probably" because things with ML can change from day to day. Anyway, I decided to take advantage of the sale prices and bought a half ham yesterday. Will leave it alone until I know for sure. ML has added dreadful insomnia to her list of complaints as if she wasn't have enough trouble.
Guess I should go. Holly's idea of meatloaf sounded good to me and that's what I told Howard supper is/was...remembered I got some salmon at the grocery yesterday and I always like to eat that up quickly. He'll be just as happy and we'll plan for meatloaf tomorrow.
Take care,
Indy

Tracy posted that Jamie is out of surgery and it went well.
The meatloaf, corn and mashed was so good! Ralph thanked me several times. He’s always appreciative of anything I make.
It’s going to be 80 tomorrow, yikes!

BJ, so sorry to hear about your fall; hope you are mending now and resting.
Devonne, so happy to hear that your treatment is going well with little side effects. Continued prayers. Your pink rose is lovely, but the yellow are my favorite!
Hams were on sale here, too, so I bought a spiral sliced one that was about 8 pounds.. It was $30.00 but only paid $4.65 due to the great sale. I may go back tomorrow and get one to put in the freezer. It does take us a while to eat much ham, but that is a wonderful price. I will do ham, mashed potatoes, asparagus, green beans and rolls for Easter dinner on Sunday. I bought a frozen banana cream pie for dessert. Pies were only $4.99 too, so I bought a couple to stash away in the freezer...peach and cherry.
I finished another 32" x 36" baby quilt. It is paper pieced ice cream cones (an old Project Linus pattern). I need to put the binding on. I used a red polka dot fabric on the back and now I don't like it, but it will stay on. lol. I have a lot of this polka dot fabric, in navy blue and red, but should have used the blue instead of the red with the front fabrics. I am not sure why I have so much of this, so it must have been on sale at one time or another.
It was a beautiful day so we went and got Bosco and took him for a long walk at the park. He loves seeing Dean and I at the same time because he knows he usually get to go to the park.
Have a wonderful weekend all. Take care.

Cheryl, yellow roses are my favorite too. I looked for a climbing rose at Lowes but they only had a Dolly Parton red rose. I prefer yellow or very light pink. Does Bosco not pull you along when you walk him?
BJ, so sorry you fell. No matter how careful we are, it's so easy to lose your balance. I try to be so careful. I lost my balance in the yard talking to my neighbor and down I went, talk about being embarrassed. He said the ground was unlevel where I was standing, but that wasn't the reason, lol.
Holly, that is my very favorite meal...meatloaf, mashed potatoes and either corn on cob or any other side. I love fried okra too. There's not many vegetables I dislike. Thanks for the news on Jamie. I need to go to FB and see BJ's picture.
I finally went to Lowes after my treatment. Stopped and had a late breakfast at Ihop. They don't mention they have a $6 special...you have to ask for it. I bought a blackberry bush...guess I will be forced to dig a hole, lol. Not sure if I need two of them to cross pollinate. Will do some research. Also got some marigolds, red saliva (sp?), tomato plants, yellow squash, zucchin squash and a cucumber plant. Coming out of the store, my left foot had a huge cramp. I was at the car door so I got my shoe off quick. It went away as fast as it came.
Judy, I wish I liked fresh salmon. I'm so used to making salmon patties from a can and the taste is so different.
I am not going to Caleb's ballgames tomorrow. They are playing 35 miles away, which is ridiculous.

My goodness - lots happening!! BJ sorry about your fall, hope you are feeling more comfortable with those bruises, they do hurt ((((hugs))))Sending love and good wishes to Jamie after his surgery, hope he recovers quickly and he is up and around no time (((hugs)))) SANDR OUCH!!! $6 that's a lot, hope it was a fun night anyway, at least you only took that amount. I have been cooking and sharing too, Megan Gary & Dean are away, so John is taking advantage of Nana cooking, he has been eating with us, he had money left by his mum and also food, but apparently it's better here. Tonight is Spag Bolognaise, one of his favourites, and tomorrow is roast dinner. THERESA it doesn't get better does it, I was hoping for good news from you, sorry about all the drama, at least it's closer to your home (((hugs))) INDY your poor girl, it really sounds like she has awful depression, so sad, it may be caused form hormones, or just one of those things ((((hugs)))) difficult for her, as well as everyone treading on egg shells to not rock the boat. Poor ML hope she can get some help (((hugs))) HOLLY hope your knees are OK, did you have surgery on them, or I am remembering wrong, did it not go well? Standing for me isn't a problem, the cardio stuff is though, I get really short of breath nowadays. I wish I had a long arm, would be so good, I just don't have anywhere to put one! I can do wiggles and swirls on the long arm, not my machine! DEVONNE GORGEOUS pics, thank you! you have such a pretty garden, and go you, using the cream all the time, it does make a difference (((hugs))) CHERYL so good of you to take him for a walk - they do love to get out sniffing, John might bring the dogs over tonight for a walk too, they love to visit, they water my back yard well LOL The baby quilt sounds good, I love paper piecing too, we call it foundation piecing as well, the baby quilt has a star block and heart block alternately, I made a big mess of the first heart one, so have put them on hold for a bit. I have been frantically catching up!! So much to do here, I have been getting sewing done, cooking and generally tidying up, as well as back to fitness training. Saw my sis a couple days ago, AND forgot the one thing I really wanted to take her - the raincoat she got for her DGD. Honestly GRRR, I took up cards and presents, but left the raincoat behind, and traffic was scary on the way home with Easter traffic starting up.People go crazy, so much cutting in and out, then they end up right near you at the next stop LOL So much for scaring everyone else on the highway. When you are travelling at 60MPH things happen fast. It's a beautiful day here again, quite cold at night but warm during the day, we are expecting rain from Monday afternoon for a few days though, and Megan will be coming home from camping on Tuesday, she left on Thursday around lunch time, and it was really slow on the freeway for 1/2 the trip. She'll find the same thing on the way home. I have just finished a bag for Chloe from the same fabric as the baby quilt, I made a block for the quilt, it turned out badly, undid it all, and trimmed and redid, and it will work, just need to be very careful, the fabric - while it is Moda, so should be good - is very loose weave, I had forgotten that, and the pieces are small, sewing 2" squares onto 3 1/2" x 2" rectangle to make flying geese. Definitely no room for error. A very old pattern from a Fons & Porter magazine, remember them?? Tomorrow is Easter Sunday for us, no plans, I have chocolate for my guys, and a small dark chocolate bunny for me. I already gave John his, if he's started eating them it's not my problem, he said he'll eat Dean's too LOL I know he won't but I bet he's told Dean that too LOL Brothers, they love each other, but they can fight too!!

MISPELLINGS......
1. NO BEAR FEET ALLOWED.
2. FULL COARSE MEALS.
ITS SUNNY AND WILL HIT THE 70Sf TODAY. I TOOK SOME PICS OF THE JONQUILS STARTING TO BLOOM IN OUR GARDEN. I ALSO SEE WHAT MUST BE GARLIC IN MY FRIEND KATHY'S GARDEN BED. SHE TOOK OVER MY BED LAST YEAR.
ITS JUST GORGEOUS OUTSIDE. TOOK OUT MY TRASH. ALSO SORTED MY PILLS FOR THE WEEK. I HAVE 6 OR 7 CARDBOARD CARTONS TO BREAK DOWN FOR OUR RECYCLE BIN TODAY. I JUST TOSS THEM IN A CORNER OF MY BEDROOM IN CASE I NEED ONE OR TWO. I GUESS THESE ARE NOT NEEDED.
TODAY I PLAN A NEW CASSEROLE. I HAVE SOME FROZEN TATER CROWNS I WANT TO USE AND I HAVE CHICKEN BREASTS DEFROSTED. I THINK A LAYER OF COOKED CHICKEN, THEN A LAYER OF CREAM SOUPS WITH MILK, MAYBE ADD SOME CANNED CARROTS TO THE SOUP, DRAINED AND RINSED TO GET RID OF EXCESS SALT. NEXT WILL BE PARTLY COOKED CROWNS LAYED ACROSS THE DISH EVENLY. TOPPED WITH SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE. THEN BAKE AT 350 TIL THE TATERS CROWNS ARE COOKED THRU. SOUNDS GOOD TO ME. SEASONINGS, TOO, OF COURSE. I WILL LET YOU KNOW IF ITS A WINNER.
OTHER PLANS INVOLVE SOME SEWING OR DRAWINGS OR SOMETHING USEFUL. AND OF COURSE, SOME JIGSAWING. NOT MUCH LEFT OF THE LATEST PUZZLE BUT SOME PIECES THAT LOOK TOO MUCH ALIKE SO ITS TAKING LOTS OF TIME.
THAT'S IT FROM ME. HUGS FOR YOU ALL. QB S

Good Morning, it is a cloudy day here, but fairly bright.
I am so covered with bruises from my fall, the worst one is on my right arm, on the underside, so I have to be careful, laying my arm down. I'm sure they'll all heal up in time, but it will take awhile. On Monday, I have to go up north to see a Dr. Not sure what it's about, but I'll go, if I can and have a ride!!
I hope you're all having a nice day with sunshine and roses!! I'm going to sign off, wishing you well, BJ.

Trish, I had my knees replaced in 2012 and 2014, the surgeries went fine. If I stand still for more than 15 minutes they kind of get numb, and my feet also don’t like standing still.
Julianna’s dance club went on a bus trip to NYC on Wednesday, they had a lesson with Broadway dancers then saw the show Smash. I had given her cash for her birthday, late, and she took it with her and got a tote with the show name on it.
Today was the monthly VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) breakfast, Ralph goes and eats and chats with other Veterans and gets me takeout, which is lovely. It’s only two blocks away from us, so convenient.
I finished the sewing on 40 more criss cross coasters, 5 charm packs. I just have to turn them right side out. One set is coffee related, so that’s for Steph. The others are floral and/or springy, so I’ll send Manda a set and Heather will pick a set. I might even keep some! I also rearranged a little in the sewing room. So now it’s time to sit with my feet up!

Tracy posted a pic, Jamie is up in a chair! Yay!
