Devonne, I think if you don't do a "mega" dose you will be fine. Aaron used the Boost brand when he was going through his treatments. They gave him some needed food when he did not feel the greatest. He used the vanilla brand, added sugar free A &W rootbeer packets and said it tasted like a melted rootbeer float.

Cheryl, thanks! I bought A&W zero sugar root beer yesterday. Logan and I are the only ones that like root beer.
Stopped at Walmart to get Zyrtec to see if it will help me sleep tonight. Then to Dominos and got lunch and dinner. I love their Alfredo chicken pasta, but I normally don't like alfredo sauce.
I have to be at Gary's house at 7:30 am to leave for Caleb's ballgames. They leave early so they can stop and get breakfast. I'll be a zombie Sunday, lol.

Lost my post...so... We need to move into Walmart! Our 3rd trip this week---this time to get Howard's Zithromax filled. Doc gave him a printed RX to use IF he wasn't better in a couple of days. We COULD have just gotten it when we were there for his Tessalon, but we're not that smart! He's still weak, coughing and barking like a Bull Seal and miserable so I drove and we went around noon. Hope it helps.
Holly, it took 8 days for the birthday card ML sent Howard from 5 miles away to arrive here.
Like the ring I ordered from JTV that went from TN, to SC, to NC, to Ohio, to IN, to MI, back to OH and finally back here to IN. I whined that I'll never get it. Howard said, You'll get it,
eventually and I did. After several calls to JTV and our local post office...
I got a rotisserie chicken at W-M for supper. I only buy one if it's a Lemon/Pepper one. Don't care for the Original seasoning. Now to figure something to go with it. We've been on a Klondike Bar for dessert binge for a few weeks. Sometimes that's the only part of supper I want.

Flat tire ! 😡 never get a flat on a Saturday! Three local places and all closed !! Drove it home and parked it. Didn’t get anything done. I’m going back to bed.
DH can deal with it. I’m done being in charge of everything.

SIGNS OF THE TIMES......
1. IN A FUNERAL PARLOR: ASK ABOUT OUR LAYAWAY PLAN.
2. IN A CLOTHING STORE: WONDERFUL BARGAINS FOR MEN WITH 16 AND 17 NECKS.
CLOUDY OUT THERE TODAY. WE SHOULD BE GETTING SOME RAIN SOON.
JANET.....SORRY ABOUT THE FLAT TIRE. YES, LET HUBBY WORRY ABOUT IT.
DEVONNE.......I, TOO, LIKE ROOT BEER BUT HARDLY BUY IT. I WILL PUT IT ON MY NEXT GROCERY LIST.
JUDY......SORRY THAT POOR HOWARD IS STILL FIGHTING THAT TERRIBLE COUGH. AT LEAST ITS JUST A COUGH AND NOTHING WORSE. STILL, ITS TIRING TO KEEP COUGHING LIKE THAT. TELL HIM TO TRY TO GET SOME REST.
HEY, I USE LEMON PEPPER ON MY BAKED CHICKEN. ITS A GOOD WAY TO SEASON IT.
PLANS TODAY ARE THE USUAL STARTING WITH SORTING MY PILLS FOR THE WEEK, WHICH I JUST DID. THE PROBLEM WITH MY NEW MEDS IS SOLVED SO THOSE SHOULD BE ARRIVING IN THE MAIL SOON.
TONIGHT THERE ARE SEVERAL BRITISH PROGRAMS ON OUR TWO LOCAL PBS CHANNELS, BOTH MYSTERY AND FUNNY. KEEPING UP APPEARANCES IS BACK, FATHER BROWN, ALSO SISTER BONIFACE, AND MS. FISHER'S MODERN MYSTERY SERIES WITH THE NIECE, PEREGRINE. HERS AUNT'S LOOSE LIVING ACTUALLY TURNED ME AWAY FROM THE ORIGINAL SERIES. SHE JUMPED INTO BED WITH JUST ABOUT EVERY MAN SHE MET. NOT MY CUP OF TEA.
I MADE PIZZA LAST NITE AND SHARED WITH THOSE THAT AREN'T COOKING MUCH. I HAVE 3 NOW THAT I WORRY ABOUT SO THEY ARE ON MY LIST TO SHARE MEALS WHEN I MAKE CASSEROLES AND SOUPS. MY PLAN TO MAKE SMALLER CASSEROLES JUST FOR ME TO SAVE MONEY ARE ON HOLD. I NEED TO STAY WITH THE 9 BY 13 SIZE FOR NOW AND THE BIG POT OF SOUPS.
THAT'S IT LADIES. NOTHING MUCH HAPPENING DIFFERENTLY HERE. MY DAY IS PRETTY UNEXCITING. ITS A SHAME I DO NOT DRIVE ANYMORE. I SURE WOULD LIKE TO GET OUT NOW AND THEN JUST FOR A CHANGE OF PACE.
STAY SAFE. HUGS FOR ALL. QB S

Rainy here today, April showers. I made a new casserole, we really liked it. Ground beef, sliced potatoes, cream of something soup (called for mushroom, I used celery), milk and onion. We got 2 meals from it.
We talked to Steph last night for an hour. She has FEMA people under her, and they can’t start new projects and can’t travel. We also discussed getting enough protein in our diets, which can be hard.
SIL C’s doc told her she should get 70-80 grams of protein per day. I paid attention and counted, and was getting less than 30 grams! I bought peanut powder to add to my yogurt. I considered protein drinks, but like Janet said, too much stuff added. LOL, I snack on dry Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, which has some protein.
One of my cookie swap group friends has breast cancer, a really bad kind, and is losing her hair, so I crocheted her 6 hats.

Thanks QB for the encouragement for Howard. He must be getting better--is mean as a snake this morning, well sort of...is crabby.
We're home today. I told him (jokingly) last night that I wasn't going to Walmart today! So, the first text I get this morning is them wanting me to okay their filling of one of my prescriptions!
Thankfully, you have 7 days to pick it up.
I mended the donation quilt for the church auction yesterday. There was NO fabric on either edge to fold under so I just had to butt it up. I used a pale gray thread. Felt it blended a bit better than pure white and then noticed the backing fabric had the same pale gray.
It's a rather, should I say, sloppily done quilt. I mentioned this to ML and she said that's often the case with donated things--some good, some bad, some in-between. Half is a silent auction, so bidders can see up close what they're silently bidding on. Half is a live auction.
Janet, sorry for the tire and the frustration. I'm amazed at how much "men's" stuff you're expected to do, anyway. I complain about Howard, but he takes care of all the outside work and the cars. I don't think he even knows there could be another way. Neither did I...
Theresa, best wishes, as usual, with your mom's care. Getting the silly pup certainly gives you something else to think about. I have to get my pet fixes from others, now. How is he doing after his neutering?
Off to shower and hair wash and then IT'LL BE TIME TO THINK ABOUT SUPPER! Not really, but it'll seem like it.

Judy, Bill and I were always the same way on division of chores. I never expected him to do lots of “women’s work” because I didn’t want to do the “ men’s work.” So it worked well for us.
Sandra, maybe your son could take you to do your grocery shopping once in a while so you could get out of the house.
Twice during the night, my phone woke me up with flash flood warnings. The ground is saturated from two days of rain with more coming down and more expected through tomorrow morning. It won’t cause me any problems because my house isn’t in a low area.

Good evening friends.
Judy, hope Howard is much better soon. Most men really are babies when it comes to being sick. As for thinking about what to have for supper, I think of it all the time...what to have for supper?
lol. But I have lots of things in my freezer and if I have to take them out, I need time to defrost.
I am guilty of giving some sloppily made quilts for donations. I HATE to rip and resew, so, usually I do not. so, if seams are wonky, they go anyway. I try to do really nice one for the NICU at Children's Hospital but for the Free Diaper Bank, I give what ever is finished...wonky or not. If they are too bad, they go to the animal shelter for dog bedding.
Dean and I share chores most of the time, but he actually does all of the "man's work", especially with the car and lawn care. He also cleans the bathrooms, kitchen and does dishes when I cook, so I guess I am spoiled. I do the shopping, laundry, cooking and help him when needed. It works for us.
It has been raining off and on for days, and the ground is saturated here also. Some slight flooding in some low areas, but all in all, not too bad.
