Trish, continued prayers for Megan. Hospitals always seem to be chilly, not sure the reason.
Judy, we got about 2 inches of snow also, and it was just beautiful hanging in all the bushes and trees. Today the sun was out and most of it has melted. As you said, it is typical this time of year.
Bosco is OK with the feet being wiped. He stands great for his front legs but doesn't really like his back legs lifted to be cleaned, so that can take a few tries. He really is a good dog. I just don't know why Aaron wanted a dog that is so big. Aaron's house is a smaller cape, so the dog seems huge in his house. lol His kibble sticks to his huge jowls and drops on the floor while he is eating, so I had to sweep up after his meals. I like having him, but sure was glad he went home today, as was he.
Trish, the potato chip quilt is pure scraps. I am putting a top together now and not sure I really like it, but will finish it. If it is too terrible, it will go the animal shelter for bedding. I am not one to do a "totally scrappy" quilt. I sort of pick out colors that I think go together, while some people put whatever they grab together. Some even put them in a paper bag and select that way. Here is a youtube link on it:
