The sun is shining very bright this morning, so beautiful!! It is 44* today. Love having it so nice. The sky is so blue!! On the south side of my property, there is a tall bush with red flowers all over it, very beautiful.

I'm making macaroni tuna salad for dinner; haven't had it in quite a long time.
Sandra, I started a bag in case I need to exit/stage right in case of a fire since these houses are so close. Now I have two reasons to get it done. I also have an extra set of clothes and shoes I keep in the car.
My wounds have healed so I'll be ready to start radiation soon. I have to cancel a dental cleaning for April because it will overlap with the radiation schedule.

Good afternoon.
Absolutely nothing going on here, so it will be a short post.
Sandra, it is smart of you to have a bag ready in case of emergency. Devonne, I think I shall do that also; get ready in case of evacuation or fire, etc. I did organize our "important" papers, to they are easy to identify and take with us if ever needed. One never knows what will happen.
I have been sewing scrap four patches. Scrap plus a black fabric for the 4 parches. Not sure what I will do with them but using up my tons of scraps is my goal these days. Have any of you made a "potato chip" scrap block/quilt? I saw a few videos on youtube and think I may do one of those next. If I don't like it, it will go to the dog shelter and they use them.

NOT FEELING TOO WELL TODAY. I THINK I MAY BE CALLING MY DR THIS MORNING. IT SEEMS MY DIASTOLIC BLOOD PRESSURE IS SLOWLY DROPPING (IN 60S) AS IS MY PULSE RATE (58-60) EVER SINCE YESTERDAY.

Good Morning to everyone!! It is totally still outside this morning, Not a leaf is moving. Hard to believe!! It is 48* outside, so not bad. Just had a nice conversation with Tracy, a nice way to start my day.

Sandra, I hope you got to feeling better today.
We just had a hail storm. Lots of thunder but no lightening. Supposed to get cold again with a high of 25 by Sunday. It was rather warm today, in the 40s I believe. Typical weather patterns. I did see my little daffodil plants are about 4 inches high already!

1. TUNA BITING OFF WASHINGTON COAST.
2. STIFF OPPOSITION EXPECTED TO CASKETLESS FUNERAL PLAN.
WE GOT 2 INCHES OF SNOW THAT MELTED PRETTY QUICKLY, IT BEING IN THE 30S. TODAY WE EXPECT 1 TO 3 INCHES MORE.

3. WAS HOUSECLEANING AND HAD A GUEST WHO WAS LOOKING THRU MY VIDEO FILES FOR A GOOD MOVIE AND THEN WENT TO THE BATHROOM TO BRUSH HIS TEETH.......
WHEN I WOKE UP FOR A NATURE CALL.
I'M SURE IT TOLD YOU BEFORE, WHEN I START DREAMING OF WATER, LAKES, SWIMMING, WATCHING WHALES IN THE BAY, ITS TIME FOR ME TO WAKE UP FOR MY MORNING NATURE CALL.
NOT MUCH ELSE TO REPORT. WORKED ON MY PERSONAL DIARY FROM THE PAST AND ADDED A COUPLE OF ANECDOTES. I HAD TO STOP WHEN MY HANDWRITING STARTED LOOKING LOUSY. I DO NOT HAVE THE BEST HANDWRITING AND WHEN TIRED IT LOOKS IT.

Sandra, I wonder if we dream more as we get older? My dream last night was short. I was in bed with Greg, he was 8 years old. He asked where Gary was. Gary said he couldn't sleep so he went for a ride...that was it, lol.
I am a busy bee today! Spring cleaning everything from room to room, even under the beds. I have more energy today than I've had since the surgery, Remember the HGTV show Room by Room? That's me, lol! 
Where do you put all your family picture frames? I don't have room for these on my walls. Think I'll just put them in a box in the closet and family can take what is theirs when I'm gone.

Devonne, I have been doing the same thing; cleaning and sorting. I have lots of blankets, sheets and pillows from the camper. Since we no longer have a camper what to do with all of them? I think I will take them to the local animal shelter as they are always looking for such things. I also have lots of extra towels that we had in the camper too. Not sure if they would want the pillows, so most likely they will have to go to the trash. As for pictures, it seems like the younger people do not want any type of old pictures. I have entire albums I did of each boy and neither one wants them. 
I have pictures of grandparents, old pics of us...same thing. Nobody is interested. Dean and I love to look at old photos.
I have the same sort of dream all the time; I am lost and cannot find my car or the exit or sometimes the room in a school. Weird for sure. Always lost. Not scary but odd. Kelli used to have night terrors and had to take medication for it. It was awful.
I did my walk outdoors today and the wind was fierce! It was sunny and bright but the wind made it really difficult to walk, so I only did 1.7 miles. Dean was not with me, so I stopped early.

Afternoon y'all! 
Weather has been beautiful! Temps in the 70's. I will take it!
Mom is finally getting out of the "anesthesia brain" She responds and talks more! That is a good thing. Definitely had to fight to get her where she is. I love this place and mom is doing so much better! 
Kids are doing good. Luke is the one that is in a bit of a funk due to the firing. Yes officially he was "fired due to poor performance" All federal employees that were "laid off" got this so now they do not qualify for unemployment! Makes me mad! But he has people in his corner fighting for him. His Acadia boss reached out to him and is trying to get him through the park service Doge, to hire him for the summer. So glad he listened to us and made hard copies of all his reviews and kept a copy on his computer. All his files were wiped by the Doge! Love when your kid actually listens to advice! 
Trying to get medical records is a task, in and of itself! The delay for this or that reason. Ready to put my BIL on their little tails. See how fast I get them then. Just afraid it will be altered, or things "missing". Told them I needed it for the current facility, since I could not answer their questions. I love having a lawyer in the family to tell me how to negotiate this stuff! 
Big news! We are getting a dog. His name is Simba. Fits the picture I have of him! A neighbors BIL is in the hospital and needs to go to rehab, he will not be able to take care of this cute baby, so she called us to see if we would take him. Hubby has already pulled out all the dog bowls, beds, toys, and such! Not excited, no never! LOL! 
Me, I am tired all the time! I know it's understandable, but I want to finally sleep and be rested! I don't have to be raring to go just not sluggish! I know it will get better! I'm ready for better! 
My brother cancelled twice this week, he gives me a day off of mom when he comes. I think it's harder on me when he cancels. Never cancels the night before, waits till about noon to tell me! 
Need to go heat up supper, leftovers!

SIGNS GONE WRONG........
1. ON A NEW YORK CONVALESCENT HOME: FOR THE SICK AND TIRED OF THE EPISCOPAL CHURCH.
2. ON A MAINE SHOP: OUR MOTTO IS TO GIVE OUR CUSTOMERS THE LOWEST POSSIBLE PRICES AND WORKMANSHIP.
WE'RE GETTING MORE SNOW BUT THEY TELL US ONLY AN INCH. ITS VERY DREARY OUT THERE BUT SHOULD WARM UP TO ABOUT 40 TODAY.
ITS TOO EARLY TO MAKE PLANS. HAD A FUNNY NIGHT WAKING UP A FEW TIMES AFTER ONLY AN HOUR OR SO. HATE THOSE NIGHTS. I AM SO TIRED THRU THE WHOLE DAY. I KNOW I WILL CATCH A NAP LATER.

TOO BAD ABOUT LUKE NOT GETTING COMPENSATION. ITS SMART HE KEPT THOSE REPORTS SO HE CAN GO AND FIGHT FOR HIS UNEMPLOYMENT. I HOPE HE WINS.

Hello, Friends! I don't know how I can be so busy all the time and yet have little to show for it. I spent one whole day this week running errands. I needed to do things like taking tax documents to the accountant, looking for background fabric for a quilt I'm working on, buying some new socks to wear to exercise class, and stocking up on some groceries. While I was out I had lunch at Culver's to use a gift card I got for Christmas.
Nathanael called a few days ago asking if I would make him a new duvet cover and pillow shams. He has been looking for a set to buy but hasn't found something he likes. We talked a bit about what he wants but I need to find out more now that I've had time to think about it. I am going to suggest a quilt instead.

Cheryl- I agree about the pictures. My kids don’t want them either. When I offered them a while ago to my son and DIL she told me “ no, stop clearing out you place dumping all the stuff on us”. 😡 I had given my son his baseball card collection (some were very expensive and collectibles) when they first bought their house. I assume she dumped them. If I’d even thought he wouldn’t keep them, I would have.
They say you only dream when you are in deep REM sleep?
A few weeks ago, I had a dream that there were frogs all over the house, jumping on the bed, etc. How weird is that? lol.
My dau is psychic, or so she thinks, and interprets dreams…the frogs were a challenge . 😂

My recurring dream is also that while I've been with a companion, at some point, I'm on my own and lost trying to find my way to wherever I/we were headed. Another is, all of a sudden I've lost my purse and I'm frantically backtracking to all the places I've been trying to find it.
Only occasionally do I have nice, pleasant dreams...most leave me with an overwhelming feeling of relief that it was just a dream.
We woke up to about 2 inches of snow covering everything. It's still coming down a bit. This, after several of days near 50 degrees. I do love March 1st, though, knowing that by April 1st, will put winter behind us.
Theresa, so good to hear from you and with some good news about your Mom. Don't you just love people that feel they have no responsibility for anyone else, like your brother? Congrats on the new fur baby. I'm anxious to hear what breed he is, how old and whatever else you wish to share. 
We went to Chick-Fil-A for lunch yesterday, then on to W-M for an rx for H. and groceries. So, first thing this morning, I get a text that "I" have a rx ready for pick up. Grrrr I swear since algorythyms run everything, they make sure you have to make another trip there with the possibility of buying something else. Anyway, all that said, ML is going to pick up my Rx for me since I have the small group coming on Friday so it will be a busy week getting ready.
THIS week has been a lulu! Busy, frustrating, tiring... ML is still dealing with her medical issue so I must be careful not to burden her too much. Howard is Howard, always a bit prickly and he can be difficult. I'm sorry for being so whiney. Guess you girls are my sounding board for now.
Time to go and cut his hair and carry on. He wanted to go to Menard's for softener salt, but Valparaiso had a main break and much of the town is on a water boil order so bottled water and salt "has been flying off the shelves" as one clerk told Bill yesterday. So, we aren't going! Yippee! I didn't want to anyway... Have a good day. Later...
