Popping in to tell anyone who hasn’t seen it, that the Senate voted for the SS Fairness Act! Now you can collect your SS and pension in the states that prohibited it before! It doesn’t affect me here in Jersey, but affects Carol and I think Mary Lou! Or maybe it effects them, I always mess up affect and effect. I didn’t see when it will kick in.

SANDRA too funny about the computer, especially when it HEARD you!! I really think they do pick up somehow, often we see advertisements, or things like that after talking on the phone with my sis, they say Big Brother is watching, and it seems they often are LOL

HOLLY thank for letting everyone know, the Affects are for the verb, so it AFFECTS people, the Effects is for the noun LOL they get mixed up all the time, and sometimes the rule doesn't apply.

MARYLOU hope it's just the water intake, it often is, we tend to drink less than we should, it was hard for me the other day when the Dr requested that I DIDN'T much the rest of the day, something to do with the injection, I was glad to drink at dinner. LOL  

I got a lot more done today, went to the store and got the ingredients for the turkey stuffing, and just made them, all the food I need now for his sis is there, just need to cook it each day, her diet is appalling, BUT I cook now what she will eat, no point otherwise, I gave up trying a few years ago. We have had word (via his brother) that she is still staining her underwear, they want tests done, the stool tests came back 2 positive and 1 negative, it could be something simple, but may not be -- decisions for them, I feel that a colonoscopy is far too invasive, but she can have a sigmoidoscopy, usually no sedation, in her case I feel a light sedation would be better, she is also getting more hard of hearing, his brother was supposed to take care of that, silly man, he thinks she should have new rechargeable hearing aids, honestly, what planet does he live on, she can't cope with a cordless phone, kept putting it on the charger backwards/upside down. I think she should have new aids though, I want W to take her, he knows exactly how she responds, David doesn't, W knows that she guesses, and lies because she doesn't hear. So he gets them to repeat tests a few times. 

Brothers!!!, at least they are talking I guess. Even if it is at cross purposes LOL

My sis and I had our long talk yesterday, I wanted to go see her next Friday, but it's forecast to be 115F - don't want to be driving there in that, so we will have to do phone calls. 
We are taking the boys shopping tomorrow, I just bought 4 small boxes of After Dinner Mints, they are tiny thin dark chocolate with mint inside and in their own little brown wrapper/envelope, the boys love them I hadn't been able to find them anywhere, so now I have them they will get $$ wrapped around the box and the box wrapped.LOL A bit of fun instead of just the money.
We are having dinner at a local pub tomorrow night, for John's B/day, our excuse that SIS can' come early, and then she has to be home before Thursday morning, win for us, although it sounds horrid, I am just not looking forward to the noise of the TV blasting because she can't hear. I will be glad to get it off, I have UNO cards to play cards with her, hopefully that will give us a break LOL

Roast pork in the oven, with lots of veggies, the Mr won it at bowls yesterday. So we have another meal ready, and we'll have more for leftovers, I'll make that meal and freeze it, we have the ham and all the Christmas stuff in the fridge was well, so I am all set, a big change from wanting to cancel Christmas a few days ago I felt so awful LOL .

I am going to finish up my Advent Calendar jigsaw, It's early, but I have to clear the table to set it up nicely, and also clear a spot to play UNO.
