INGREDIENTS
Parsley fresh - 1/2 cup, chopped fine
Eggs - 2
Onion - One large, chopped very fine (he used a grater. I tried that and cut my finger, lol)
Hamburger and/or Sausage - 1 lb. of each (I used 2 lb. ground chuck)
Salt, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Hamburger Seasoning - your discretion
Minced Garlic - 1 tablespoon
Boursin Garlic and Herb Cheese - one box
Parmesan Cheese Grated - 1/2 cup
Sour Cream - 2 tablespoon
3 cups bread crumbs
Fold all together...wear gloves if you have them. Fold in very well. He added the eggs and bread crumbs at the end and then folded them in really well.
Line your cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Spray foil with cooking oil. Roll your meatballs out, try to make about the same size. Sprinkle with more of the Grill Mates Hamburger Seasoning.
Bake in 400 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes or 160 degrees internal temperature.
MAKE THE SAUCE
1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
1/4 cup blueberry preserves or grape jelly
2 to 3 tablespoons of honey
Brown sugar -2 to 3 tablespoons
Whisk all ingredients together. Simmer over low heat. Put meatballs in the sauce and cover well. If you have any BBQ sauce left, pour over the meatballs. Sprinkle a little parsley on top.
AWESOME - so juicy and delicious.
