Happy Sunday, all!
Devonne, I've been thinking about you! 🙏🏻 I'm glad the surgery is behind you! I'll have to go back and read more closely, get the details, but you've been in my prayers!
Trish, I hope your vision is better!
Gotta run for now.

Thanks DIANE hope all is well in your neck of the woods !!
DEVONNE sounds like quite a day, a few people were not on the same page were they!!! , interesting to hear about your "no paper" scripts most of ours ARE paper, occasionally we get one on email with a QR code, but we take our paper ones, and the pharmacy fills in usually 10 mins, sometimes you need to wait a while, mostly not though, i love the paper ones, they tell when the next can be filled, our can have 5 repeats, so 6 with the original, I hope we never get to only emailed ones, I like to have control AND where to find them - had to search for a while for one sent by email LOL Hope you feel better each day, so glad Marilynn is supportive
SANDRA hope you enjoy your cassy, and have a good day with jigsaw puzzle, I really SHOULD get one out, I might even google the Advent ones, Julie has one to swap with me, they are fun, you do a tiny section each day, I'll remind her, maybe we can swap at our last sewing class.
Can't remember what I wanted to say will catch up tomorrow, we had a long, long lunch today with Julie and her husband, just so the guys could meet before our cruise, they got along like a house on fire LOL We were both a little worried they might not get on, they didn't stop talking LOL
It's turned cool now, I have to get changed, getting the PJs on, I tried out the air fryer, maybe I was ambitious, I cooked barramundi (foil then baking paper, asparagus, zucchini and tiny tomatoes, the fish on top with some slices of lemon ) it took 20 mins according to the recipe, nope needed a little more, so 30 mins, I would do that in a hot oven LOL so not a time saver, but the guys said the fish was delish!! So maybe I need to read up on what settings to cook things on, it can air fry, bake, steam and combinations of those as well.
I just wish it came with an instruction book --- I have to download it, NOT going to print it, that's a waste, some reading to be done tomorrow, it's so quiet though, and doesn't heat up the kitchen so might be very good in summer!!
Hope you are all OK, and have a relaxing Sunday!
See you later
BJ please let Tracy know we are thinking of her ((((hugs))))

A woman gets on a bus with her baby. The bus driver says, "That's the ugliest baby that I've ever seen. Ugh!" The woman goes to the rear of the bus and sits down, fuming. She says to a man next to her, "The driver just insulted me!" The man says, "You go right up there and tell him off – go ahead, I'll hold your monkey for you."
ANOTHER GORGEOUS DAY HERE IN SOUTHERN MAINE. LOVING IT.
TRISH......I THINK THE MAIN FEATURE ABOUT AIR FRYERS IS THE FACT THAT THEY FRY WITHOUT OILS SO IT HEALTHIER FOR YOU. MINE DID NOT COOK THINGS ANY FASTER AND I HAVE TO REHEAT IT LIKE I DO MY OVEN. BUT YES, ITS COOLER TOO SINCE NO BIG OVEN IS HEATING UP THE ROOM.
DEVONNE.....IN CASE YOU MISSED MY COMMENT ON SATURDAY I ASKED THAT YOU POST THE MEATBALL RECIPE. I AM ALWAYS LOOKING FOR MORE RECIPES.
TODAY ITS PASTA AND MEATBALLS FOR ME. IN A MEAT SAUCE. I DEFROSTED 2 LBS GROUND BEEF. I THINK THE PASTA WILL BE SHELLS SO THEY CAN CATCH THE MEAT IN THEIR HOLLOWS. MMMM GOOD.
EXCEPT FOR HANGING AROUND DOING NOTHING, I'LL JUST COOK A BIT. I DID MY LAPS ALREADY SO THAT'S OUT OF THE WAY. I NEED TO CRUMBLE MY BREAD SLICES FOR THE MEATBALLS NOW. SEE YA.
HUGS FOR ALL, QB S

Trish, the RX’s get emailed right to the pharmacy, not to us. The pharmacy I use then texts and emails me when it’s ready for pickup. For my regular meds, we use mail order and get 3 months worth at a time.
I topstitched/quilted another tablerunners. I have 4 more tops, and I cut backings for them, and pinned 2 of them with the battings. Then my knees said stop standing, so I’m sitting til it's time to go to lunch with F and C.
Steph and Dan are in Florence, Italy today.
Boeing and the machinist’s union have a tentative settlement, will be voted on this Week. Fingers crossed!
Nice and sunny, going up in the 70’s!

Devonne, you certainly had an ordeal. You have been in my prayers; you are a strong women, but still must have been scared. I find any hospital experience to be somewhat disorganized.
Sandra, that elephant joke sure made me chuckle!! It is lovely here these days too. I love fall.
I bought a rotisserie chicken for supper and wow!!, was it tiny. That poor thing could not have lived long. I bought it at my local grocery store. Next time I will go to Walmart as the one I got there was twice the size of this one. Oven roasted some carrots and broccoli to go with it. Roasted veggies are one way to get Dean to eat them.
I made a colorful scrap quilt this week. I need to cut and attach a binding yet but it is pretty cute. It will make a nice donation. My local Fire department collected blankets to take to Florida and North Carolina last week but I was not sure if they wanted small baby/toddler quilts. If they collect again, I will go there and ask. I have 10 or so ready for donation.
Nothing else going on here, so will sign off.

Q: Why did the witches' team lose the baseball game?
A: Their bats flew away.
How is Christmas like your job?
You do all the work and the fat guy in the suit gets all the credit.
ITS GOING TO BE A HOTTY TODAY. IN THE 70S. WEIRD BUT LOVELY. SUN IS SHINING BRIGHT. I HAVE WINDOWS OPEN WIDE AND FANS GOING TO KEEP COOL.
CHERYL........YOU ARE STILL MAKING QUILTS FOR CHARITY. I THINK THAT'S A REALLY GOOD THING. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
NOTHING SPECIAL HAPPENING HERE. I LEAD A RATHER DULL LIFE BUT AT LEAST I'M STILL PLUGGING ALONG. ANOTHER GOOD THING.
STAY SAFE MY FRIENDS. HUGS, QB S

Good Morning to everyone!! It is very still outside, but it clearly must have rained overnight. The sky is fairly bright. I really don't have much to say this morning. Think I'm still tired. Will sign off, wishing you all well, BJ.

Wow, it’s going to be 80 today!
We had breakfast at the diner, then went to the library, paid the water and sewer bill, and dropped on my ballot.
There’s a thing Veterans do, don’t know if it’s a new thing. They say “Welcome home brother” and shake hands. Very moving to see.

I am much more fatigued today, so will be resting. My throat is not 100% yet, but getting better.
Carol, thank you so much for the card and your note. I really appreciated it. Gary brought it to me.
Cheryl, I stayed calm until the day before, then I started getting some anxiety. Calmed myself down by talking to myself and said a prayer, lol.
Gary came and picked me up to go for a ride...he thought I needed to get out of the house. We went to a steak place. I didn't have much of an appetite. I got him to buy me some orange sherbet. Thought it would feel good on my throat.
Gary took all my boxes to the curbside for pickup tomorrow. I have missed them the last two times. They only come every two weeks.

Have to make this quick. I've been sick since Thurs. night. Felt fine all day but when we went to bed, my throat didn't feel right even after a Breezer (cough drop). Hardly slept all night, Not sure what it is. Must have picked up something at either Bailey's or Ollie's, the only places I've been. Feeling a bit better today, but am tired of lying around. Howard is okay...
I did just enjoy catching up with all your posts. I won't comment, today except to say I'm so glad you're on your way, Devonne. Back to my recliner. Howard just went out of the mail.
It's 80 here, today.

Evening y'all!
Janet, I am going to Patchwork Plus, exit 240 off I-81.
I did not finish reading. Been looking for Luke a place to live, contacted, Toryam since we pass her place going to Vicksburg. She has contacted some friends who are helping us!
MIL has started radiation and is doing well so far, 3 treatments out of 20! A ways to go!
Mom is status quo.
Kids doing good.
I am trying to clean my sewing room. Way past due. My favorite quilt shop in Franklin NC is collecting coats, hats, gloves, etc for those affected by the Hurricane. They are also taking sewing machines so those that sew can get back into it once they have a place to sew. This place has been opening it's doors for those quilters to come sew and get away from the stress of it all. I have more machines than I will ever use so am going to thin them out and take a trek up to the quilt shop and donate them. They will service the machines and give them away! Love it! God knew there was a reason for me being given all these machines! I will keep my Janome Machines, and maybe one more and donate the rest! I will have a ton more storage space after that!
Need to go get ready for bed!
Later my Friends!

HOW MUCH FARTHER BUT THE QUILTERY IS ALSO A GOOD SHOP. THE QUILTERY IS IN A VERY OLD BUILDING. INTERESTING IN ITSELF. THEY HAVE A WEBSITE FOR DIRECTIONS. MY DIL LOVES TO STOP IN AT PATCHWORK PLUS WHEN SHE CAN. HAVE FUN SHOPPING. It's and Ps FOR YOUR MIL.

Theresa… it’s a fun shop. A little weak on batiks and wide backs (108”) but on my first trip there in the spring I spent about $400 and I didn’t “need” anything. I went again in the summer and we’re going again around Halloween. Each has been tied into the scenic railroad in Staunton. There’s a nice market that shares the same parking lot. We eat lunch there and buy chocolate (espresso dark bark!) and fresh made soft pretzels for the ride home.
Enjoy!
Just noticed Linda beat me to it. 😊

Devonne - hope you’re feeling better. Nice that you have family to help you.
I told my DH that if I ever get sick or have an issue I don’t want anyone to know, esp my dau in-law.

Bob was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary. His wife was really angry. She told him "Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in 6 seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE!" The next morning he got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up, she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway. Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, brought the box back in the house. She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale. Bob has been missing since Friday.
ANOTHER GORGEOUS DAY. IT'LL BE COOLER TODAY SO I WON'T BE OVERHEATED THANK GOODNESS. ONLY IN THE 60S. AND SUNNY. LOVELY.
JUDY.....SO SORRY YOU HAVE BEEN FEELING SO ILL. I HOPE TODAY FINDS YOU ON THE ROAD TO HEALING. WITH SUCH NICE WEATHER YOU WANT TO ENJOY IT WHILE YOU CAN.
NOTHING SPECIAL PLANNED LADIES. I CLEANED THE BLADES ON MY FANS THIS MORNING. YOU KNOW HOW THEY COLLECT DUST FROM SPINNING.
NO COOKING NEEDED SINCE I STILL HAVE LEFTOVER PASTA AND MEATBALLS. I WILL TAKE SOMETHING OUT OF THE FREEZER TO MAKE TOMORROW. I MAY PLAN ON CHICKEN RICE SOUP FOR THIS WEEKEND WHEN MY SON SHOPS FOR ME. HE LOVES TO TAKE IT HOME.
WISHING YOU ALL A GOOD DAY. HUGS, QB S

I'm feeling better. Good enough to go for necessary groceries. Not good enough to do anything else. I want to go as I can quickly get the exact things I need/want and Howard stresses to get it right. I'm on for making potato salad for our Friday get-together so I have specifics to get. Sorry, I do sound like a control-freak! And, most importantly...he and Dave are going for lunch tomorrow and I don't want to jinx that in any way!
We have had a string of summer-like days, sunny and warm and dry--a bit of a worry for the weather people. We had a medium-size dead tree fall in our front yard a week or so ago. It's still lying there. I "suggested" to Howard that there are people at church who will help elderly folks who need it. He vetoed that and said he'd get to it next week (after threatening to leave it there until spring). He's lost his gumption for anything, it seems, and it worries me. Granted, he's removed many fallen trees in the 28 yrs. we've lived here and it's a thankless and hard job. One reason I'm glad I'm not a man. That and the dead animals...if you know what I mean.
My closest quilt shop went out of business. There's a new one in the town Danny lives in, 25 miles away and ML and I plan to go but haven't made it yet. And may not. She's not a quilter and neither am I, anymore. At least not that kind of quilter. But, it might be a way to hook up with DIL Pam and have lunch together, one day.
.
I'd better go. Still have to get ready to go to town. Haven't much pep and don't want a relapse, which I doubt would happen. Have a good day and .
Indy

Steph gives Rome a single star review. She said people there are pigs in the public restrooms, and it’s hard to get water, they look at you like you are deranged if you ask for it with a meal. She had coffee for breakfast in Rome, and tea in Dublin on their layover, and they are in the air somewhere now.
It’s 84 and sunny! Yikes! We got a late start, Ralph was replacing the kitchen door doorknob and had issues. So it was almost 11 before we left for Sam’s Club. The parking lot was a disaster! But I ordered new glasses, and we filled the cart. Fun things like cat food and birdseed!
Theresa, wow, how many sewing machines do you have? What’s your favorite?
Judy, I’m glad you’re feeling semi better!
