Blend together and press in a greased 9x13 pan:
1 cup quick cook oats
1 cup flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup butter
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes
Sprinkle with:
12 oz. pkg chocolate chunks (or chips)
1 cup chopped pecans
Pour 1 - 12 oz. jar caramel topping over top
bake until firm, about 20 minutes
Cool and cut into bars
