I just fixed organic grass fed beef and put some on my pizza. I need to read about the recall.
I finally decided Tylenol isn't working anymore, so I broke down and took an Aleve. I I took it at bedtime and it lasted until 1:00 pm. I just took another one. Y'all know I hate to take strong medications, esp. ones that affect your kidneys, but I don't want to be in pain every day either. My sister would take 3 at a time when it says 1 every 8-12 hours. She had two back surgeries and her doctor advised her to take 3 at a time!
I have a lot more home decor for the thrift store, but I won't be unloading it this time! If they don't unload it, I'll take it to Goodwill. Waiting until next week because I still have more stuff that needs to go. I'll really "cleaning house" as they say, lol.
Greg is coming tomorrow. I decided to replace my beautiful blue sheers with a natural color. These will be here when I'm gone! He's going to hang them for me and trim my hedges. Lawn services charge extra to do this and it takes him 5 minutes.
I bought a 40 oz. tumbler so I can drink more water. It stays cold all day and night. I got it for our upcoming cruise.

Good Morning,
It is a cool one today, only in the 60s but mostly sunny. Tomorrow will be warmer and totally sunny - weather dudes say it is the pick of the weekend.
Tim got the house and garage stained this summer. Took a lot of stain and the garage needs another coat but that is a project for next spring/summer.
My garden on the deck is working. We've gotten some cucumbers, cherry tomatoes and yesterday our first large tomato. Tons of fruit on the vines so I'll be watching for frost so we can cover and extend the season some.
Next week's quilt guild program is showing how to do the manx block. It is traditionally hand sewn and pretty much like a log cabin. Should be a good project for scraps. I need to pull together suggested supplies. Not sure weather it will be a 'one of' or not.
Our little grocery store had apples...first of the season macintosh. They are not real big but are the first 'good' apples we have had since we went to FL. Somewhere around here there are some orchards. I want to explore to see what other varieties they have. I don't think the macs will hold for long. Hooray for good apples.
Indy, sorry to hear of all the storm issues in your area. Certainly not a lot of fun. One of the FL hurricanes left our area without power for several days. Not fun either and at that time we had a gas powered generator. Almost impossible to find as the gas stations which opened were also running on generators. We could not run the whole house a/c but we had water and refrigeration.
Well I need to go see if I can find the suggested supplies for that manx block. Wish me luck.

Yes Sandra, I also read about the beef recall, and the egg recall last week…and now I read from a not so reliable source on Yahoo that there may be a TT paper shortage due to Canadian tariffs. 🤷♀️

JUMPING TO CONFUSIONS.......
1. A FLIGHT ATTENDANT ANNOUNCED THE MEAL CHOICES OF CHICKEN MARENGO, BEEF BURRITOS, OR FRUIT SALAD THEN ADDED THIS USEFUL ADVICE, "IF YOU DO NOT GET YOUR FIRST CHOICE, PLEASE DO NOT BE DISTRESSED, AS ALL OUR ENTREES TASTE VERY MUCH THE SAME."
2. A HIGH-SCHOOL STUDENT WROTE, "I HAVE TO BE AWARE OF MY MISTAKES SO I CAN PERFECT THEM."
3. WE ARE READY FOR ANY UNFORSEEN EVENT THAT MAY OR MAY NOT OCCUR.
4. WE'RE GOING TO HAVE THE BEST EDUCATED AMERICAN PEOPLE IN THE WORLD.
5. IN THE PAST WE HAVE TRIED TOO MUCH TO PREVENT THE MAKING OF MISTAKES.

DEVONNE......YAH, 2300 IS A MORE REALISTIC NUMBER FOR SCHOOLS OTHER THAN COLLEGES. ITS SO EASY TO HIT AN EXTRA ZERO.
I, TOO, MUST REARRANGE MY SPICE RACK. I HAVE MORE SPICES NOW AND SOME ARE IN SHORTER JARS, SOME IN LARGER. I KNOW ITS NOT THE WEEK TO SORT CABINETS, BUT I STILL MAY REARRANGE THEM THIS WEEK INSTEAD.
I HAVE MY MENU ALL SET FOR THE COMING 3 DAYS. MY MEATS ARE DEFROSTED AND I CHECKED MY STORES. I HAVE ENOUGH TO DO MY COOKING.
I HAVE HEARD NOTHING ABOUT A BEEF RECALL SO I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO GET ON GOOGLE AND FIND OUT ABOUT THAT. I WANT TO BUY MY N.Y SIRLOIN THIS WEEK.

My grandsons graduating class had about 850 and they read every name and had them each come up for their diploma! So the 9-12 school had about 3400. He and his friend were tied for valedictorian. Gets his brains from me, lol. Actually from my son, his dad who also graduated top in his class from from high school and law school.
I’m impatiently waiting for my new sewing machine to come in. She told me a week ago but now says it hasn’t shipped yet. 😡
Gotta go. I need new reading glasses, not readers from the store. DH broke one pair and I know the spare pair are too old and too weak…just like me. Lol

Devonne, even 2,300 sounds like a large school to me. The school that I graduated from and where I also taught had about 500 students. When you asked about June's Journeys, I sort of did a double take. There is a travel agency in a nearby town called Jane's Journeys and, at first, I wondered how you knew about it!
Trish, Dollywood is an amusement park. There are some rides, some demonstrations of local crafts such as glass blowing, and quite a few music shows. I think many members of Dolly's family work there. The whole town is a tourist destination. A couple of my favorite places are a Christmas shop and a great restaurant owned by people who have an apple orchard. Many of the items on their menu are made with apples, such as apple fritters.
Like some of the rest of you, I have been trying to use up some of the older foods in my freezer. Last night I had chicken fajita soup, tonight I chicken/vegetable stir fry, and tomorrow morning I will have a waffle.
I've been using that same idea with quilt fabrics too - trying to use what I have as much as possible without buying a lot. However today I shopped! As I was straightening closets last week, I realized I have two tops completed that I had forgotten about. So today I bought backings for them.
Judy, how wonderful that you and Howard had good help cleaning up from the storms.
