Re: ODT SUNDAY MAY 31 ~ SAT JUNE 6

Thanks for locking DIANE ((((HUGS)))) Hope you are getting better!

SANDRA I forgot to comment on your friend, I am so sorry for her loss, and poor thing having to worry about surgery for her son as well, tough time for her, she sounds like a very caring person, I know you will share with her.

Plus I also forgot to mention your DD, I also thought sciatica, and now have jinxed myself, I think I have it starting, trying to do plenty of the exercises the physio gave me, maybe it's just a muscle pull from training, hope so!

HOLLY shame the weather hasn't behaved for you. It's quite cold here last couple days, but funnily enough it stays warm in the night, not getting cold till almost dawn. I don't have heat on at night, never have, Megan & Gary have the fire going now most of the time

DEVONNE it has been a hard decision, but all sorted, the Mr was talking about keeping things booked and him doing all the driving and me flying up, told him that was a big NO, Megan was furious with him for even suggesting it. Way too far for him to be driving alone, so I cancelled our motel, and we have now booked another, we won't get there till after 7pm, a bit late and I will need to drive the last couple of hours at least, as he can't drive at night, but we will only have another 5 hours the next day
Hopefully the funeral will be over in an hour, and we can get there early to get a good car spot, and get moving as soon as it's finished.

I have been sorting fabric, OMG how much fabric do I have, I sorted a big bag, and have 3 piles, one for a friend, one for cutting into strips, 2 sizes 2" and 2/12"  and one (small ) to toss. The smaller strips are for the Trentham quilt I will start at camp, I need to get more sorted, and then I can have bags of strips and get more tossed, Paula( friend) is happily going to take most of the smaller pieces of reproduction fabrics, she still has all the triangles of Dear Jane to go, and you need lots of interesting fabrics for those. I have plenty to give LOL

The Mr has spent hours today cleaning out his phone contacts, all the ones for his sister, Drs, hearing, hairdresser, podiatrist etc, plus the numbers for the hostel - then he found more he had no idea who they were, some years old - people we travelled with 15-20 years ago

I just turned off the A/C, it's quite warm now in the house, we had butter chicken for dinner, with buttered rice, it was good, and I have a piece of corned silverside to cook tomorrow in the slow cooker.

Just thinking aloud, I guess we need to dress up a bit for the funeral, but take something more comfortable to travel, maybe there will be somewhere to change at the chapel, or we'll have to wait till our first stop. I literally just thought of that, I guess we can stay dressed up, just take shoes for me to change into for driving. I can't drive too long in my dressy boots. The things that run through my mind!!!

Re: ODT SUNDAY MAY 31 ~ SAT JUNE 6

STUDENTS GET IT WRONG.....
1.  TO COLLECT SULPHUR, HOLD A DEACON OVER THE FLAME IN A TEST TUBE.
2.  H2O IS HOT WATER CO2 IS COLD WATER.

I GUESS THE RAIN HAS PASSED.  ITS SUNNY AND BRIGHT TODAY WITH THE USUAL 60S TEMPS.

LINDA.....WOW, 104. THAT LADY LIVED A GOOD LONG LIFE AND WAS IN DECENT MENTAL SHAPE BY THE END.  GOOD FOR HER.  SOMETHING TO ASPIRE TO.

TRISH......LOTS OF PLANNING FOR YOU.  I WISH YOU FAIR TRAVEL AND STOPS AND PLANS.  IT WOULD BE WONDERFUL FOR IT ALL TO FALL INTO SHAPE.

SUNDAY HERE, MY DAY OF REST.  LOVE SUNDAYS.  I WILL WORK ON MY NEW JIGSAW PUZZLE, READ, WATCH SOME TV TODAY. NO COOKING NEEDED WITH LEFTOVERS AROUND.
THREE OF US POTLUCK COOKS WERE IN THE COMMON ROOM YESTERDAY SO MADE A FEW PLANS ABOUT THE FUTURE POTLUCKS.  THEY AGREE THAT WE NEED TO KEEP TO ONLY ONE OR MAYBE TWO MAIN DISHES AND WORK AROUND THOSE.  WE WILL CHECK THE THEORY WITH THE OTHER COOKS.   WE ARE EATING TOO MANY LEFTOVERS AND THERE HAS BEEN SOME WASTE WHICH IS NOT A GOOD THING.
I FINISHED A JIGSAW PUZZLE YESTERDAY AND AFTER SUPPER WENT BACK TO START A NEW ONE.  I AM ALSO IN THE MIDDLE OF A COZY MYSTERY.  I DOUBT I WILL SEW TODAY.  I LIKE TO KEEP IT SIMPLE ON SUNDAYS.

WISHING YOU ALL A GOOD DAY.  HUGS, QB S

Re: ODT SUNDAY MAY 31 ~ SAT JUNE 6

Linda, I hope you get to go. She lived a very long life...104, that is amazing!

Trish, I'm glad you are going. The nerve of Warwick suggesting you fly alone, lol! When Eula (my oldest sister) died in 2015, I only went to the funeral home, not to the burial site/cemetery. I asked my nephew if it was ok that I didn't go to the cemetery and he said it would be better if I didn't go. It was very hilly. I didn't want that to be my last memory. The funeral home was too much for me. She was not only my oldest sis, but like a mother after Mom died in 1992.

Someone here used to watch the Alaskan Bush people, but I can't remember who it was. Noah Brown has a YT channel and he said his older brother, Matt Brown, was found dead in a river yesterday. Noah was there when his brother was found and several rescue teams. Matt was the one that was an alcoholic, went off on his own and didn't want anything to do with the rest of the family. Matt also had a YT channel. Really sad, but not surprising.

The doggie aspirins are working so I canceled Gracie's appointment. Dee will be here later this week to groom her.

Re: ODT SUNDAY MAY 31 ~ SAT JUNE 6

It’s warming up today, 73 and sunny. Eddie’s party was epic.so much food, so many people! My sausage and peppers went over very well. I had made 5 pounds of turkey sausage with the peppers and onions in my hugest crockpot. My brother brought 200 wings! I don’t eat wings, but they were sure getting eaten.

We just got home from lunch at Olive Garden with F and C. I got a half gallon of chicken gnocchi soup to go, they even give you a ladle! Steph and Dan are out with friends. I plan to do some cross stitch and relax. When I type in cross, the iPad suggests dressing as the next word!

Re: ODT SUNDAY MAY 31 ~ SAT JUNE 6

Afternoon y'all!

DS have you tried doggy glucosamine for Gracie? We did it for Bandit and it was amazing the difference.

Been up to my ears with forms.  I still think the probate office gave me the wrong forms.  I asked this last time and she insisted they were the right forms.  Hubby is looking at the forms today and is telling me what I have been saying.  They are conservatorship forms for a living person.  Mom is not living, she has no income etc.  Most of the form is about how I spent the money, how much income the person is getting.  I have not spent anything, except the fees for filing the forms!  Hubby is looking at the website, and the website says I need a different form.  Of course it does.

Today it's very cool.  Windows open, Simba pulled his cooling blanket off the couch.  I'm thinking of investing in a cooling bed for him.

Yesterday, we had the BBQ before I Do party, we hosted, for my nephew that is getting married in June.  It was a long night for us.  We had to take a walk, in the dark, when we got home.  We didn't get our normal after dinner walk, we seem to be addicted to this evening walk!

Dinner is pork chops and black-eyed peas for supper.  The black-eyes are cooked, the house smells great!  Hubby will grill the pork chops shortly.

I have sewn one row of my FQ challenge quilt together.  Working on the second row, and will sew those 2 together.  I had several conversations with Jack.  I sewed some of the blocks upside down.  Got to pay better attention!  I get so excited that I start to rush and that's when I mess up!

Nothing else exciting from my little corner of the world!

Later my Friends!

Re: ODT SUNDAY MAY 31 ~ SAT JUNE 6

THERESA so sorry you are still dealing with this, ours is going along quickly, probate has been given and the distribution of sis's estate will happen 30 days after that notice has been published, so probably July. It has been fairly quick, but she didn't have much except her money - the brothers have been investing that for her, and the return of her hostel unit money. That is not a great deal, they allow for depreciation, even though they will now have sold it for many many times more than she received back. The solicitors have not been great, they charge so much, and many of the documents sent through have had spelling errors - including names and addresses. I am not impressed, but it's who his mother organised many years ago, shame they were still operating really, we could have gone locally

The official notice is out for Mike's funeral, I did shed tears when I saw it, the photo Chal picked showed them all about 8 yrs ago, and he was the Mike I want to remember, not the last the I saw him.

Our travel has all been confirmed, and I now need to start eating myself organised, I found the small shampoo bottle and jar I use for hair conditioner, I learnt a long time ago to never put the conditioner in one of the small bottles, can't get the darn stuff out, it's thick and better in the jar.

Currently we have no lights, power out again, this is the 3rd time in 3 weeks, this time it's anyone with 3 Phase power, for some reason only the lights are affected, and it seems to be random, right pain in the neck!!!! They say will be fixed around midnight, but have no idea why it happened.

I am so glad we still had the candles out, I had lit one earlier anyway as I cooked corned beef in the slow cooker, make the house smell nice I thought LOL, just put it out and had to relight it!

I just went around and made sure all the light switches are off, if we go to bed and the lights all come on I will be cursing LOL

Training for me in the morning and it was cold this morning, better get my thicker jacket out, we'll warm up, but it's still cold for tights and t-shirts till we do LOL

Re: ODT SUNDAY MAY 31 ~ SAT JUNE 6

STUDENT BLOOPERS......
DAVID WAS A HEBREW KING SKILLED AT PLAYING THE LIAR.  HE FOUGHT WITH THE FINKELSTEINS, A RACE OF PEOPLE WHO LIVED IN BIBLICAL TIMES.  SOLOMON, ONE OF DAVID'S SONS, HAD 300 WIVES AND 700 PORCUPINES.

ITS AN IFFY DAY OUT THERE.  WE DON'T KNOW IF THE SUN WILL SHINE OR THE CLOUDS COVER THE SUN.  WE GOT THUNDER LAST NITE BUT NO LOSS OF POWER SO THAT'S A GOOD THING.

JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH BITS AND PIECES ABOUT NEVER RECEIVING THE 'FREE' PUZZLE.  HE HAD AN ACCENT AND IT WAS TOUGH BUT I THINK I GOT THRU AND TALKED HIM INTO SENDING THE PUZZLE.  AT FIRST HE WAS RELUCTANT ABOUT MAYBE I DIDN'T ENTER THE CODE FOR THE FREEBIE, BUT I KNOW I DID.  I DOUBLE CHECKED TO BE SURE.  BUT MAYBE A GLITCH DIDN'T SEND IT ALONG.  ALL IN ALL, I THINK I WILL RECEIVE A FREE PUZZLE WITHIN THE NEXT 2 WEEKS.  CROSSING MY FINGERS.
ITS THE FIRST MONDAY OF THE FIRST WEEK SO I HAVE FLOORS TO WASH TODAY.  ONLY 2, AND THOSE NOT LARGE, SO NOT TOO BAD.  AND SINCE I DO THEM MONTHLY, NOT MUCH SCRUBBING NEEDED.
I WORKED ON A JIGSAW PUZZLE YESTERDAY AND DID QUITE A BIT IN THE HOUR I ALLOTTED MYSELF.  I MAY DO MORE TODAY.
STILL NO COOKING FOR ME TODAY WITH MORE LEFTOVERS TO FINISH.  BELIEVE ME, NEXT TIME IF THERE ARE MORE THAN 2 OF US BRINGING A MAIN DISH, I WILL MAKE ONLY HALF AS MUCH.

CONTINUING TO THINK OF THOSE NEEDING POSITIVE THOUGHTS TO HEAL AND SENDING THEM ALONG DAILY.  HUGS FOR YOU ALL MY FRIENDS.  QB S

Re: ODT SUNDAY MAY 31 ~ SAT JUNE 6

Theresa, thanks, I just ordered it. I had Sandy on it a few years ago. When I went to Amazon to order it for Gracie, it said "last ordered June 2022," lol.

I got a shock on the scale this morning. I lost 2.3 lbs. last week and was sure I had gained 2 lbs. I had too much junk food last week. I am finally below 210, at 208.9 now. I haven't been below 210 in 30 years or more. I hope to be at 200 before our September cruise. Last night it was hard not to cheat on intermittent fasting, so I talked out loud to myself and said "you cannot have that tonight!"  Whatever works, lol!

Emily's auto immune doctor told her no more red meat, no nuts and she needed to lose weight. She was put on meds, but waiting for her insurance company to approve it.

Hard to believe it is June 1st!

Re: ODT SUNDAY MAY 31 ~ SAT JUNE 6

Been a few days, but the last time I posted something weird happened, lost it and was out of time...  I've just caught up reading all your posts...

Howard's  trigger finger surgery is tomorrow at 9 am.  He just got the call.  I'm rejoicing.  Was sure it would be 6 am or something like that.  It will be quick, according to the doc.  This morning he ran the errand to W-M, solo.  Takes me a long time to get ready.
He ate out 3 days in a row last week--with the ROMEOS,Wed., then Dave on Thurs.,  and Friday we had lunch out with friends, Carol and Albert.  Tried a new Greek restaurant, as in, many choices and large servings, reasonable prices.   While there, talked with my cousin, David and his wife, and one of ML's friends, Patti.  I love those serendipitous surprise happenstances that come up unexpectantly.
Yesterday, after church online, while doing the big Sunday crossword still in my robe, the doorbell rang and it was another surprise.  My old friend Carole, visiting here from her home in Florida.  She  stops, periodically, if she's driving by.  Breezes in, says she can't stay being on her way to Michigan to her twin sister's.  But, we had some l/o fried chicken and I lured her to stay longer by feeding her!    Still, a quick catch-up, with both of us trying to tell all we could.  But another special happy time.  She and I have a long history.
Our social life is either feast or famine!  We should have a few quiet day while H. recovers.

Our resident ground hog has been entertaining us today.  He's a spectacular specimen.  We figure he weighs 20 or 25 lbs.  Lives under our yard barn and sunned himself, nibbled on vegetation, appeared to actually take a nap for awhile and is now nowhere to be seen.
I think that's mostly  all the news from my little world.  Thinking of all of you and your lives and times and families and friends--our little ODT world  which I'm grateful to be a part of.
Indy

Re: ODT SUNDAY MAY 31 ~ SAT JUNE 6

Judy, I love watching the wild life too.  I have several squirrels, including two black ones, who visit my "bird feeders" daily.  They are so amusing to watch.  I used to have chipmunks, but I think the feral cats in the area have taken care of them.  I have not seen any deer for a while now.  They ate my large hosta a few weeks ago, so I was rather irritated with them.  lol.

Trish, wishing you a safe journey.  Such a sad time for all.

Dean's number were still down, so no treatment this week.  His oncologist said they would begin again next Monday for sure even if his numbers were down.  His white blood count and all those other number to go with it are not good and he gets tired quickly.  Otherwise, he feels really good; says he cannot believe he has such a disease.
Devonne, he gets a chemo infusion (through IV) for seven days straight once a month.  Then he has three weeks of no chemo, but blood tests and/or blood transfusions every week.  His bone marrow transplant team is currently looking for a donor in the national donor bank.  Dean has no living siblings close or young enough to donate.  Our son, Anthony, will be a 50% match, but Aaron had melanoma so he is unable to be checked to see if he would be a match.  They will only use Anthony if no other donor is found.  Being of white European descent is in his favor as they usually find a match per the doc.  Fingers crossed for sure.  A transplant is the only way to totally get rid of the cancer fully.  Thanks for your well wishes for him.

So, I was summoned for jury duty once again!    This is for the local municipal court, not the Federal court like last time.  I did submit a request for excusal and they approved due to Dean's condition. Whew!

Re: ODT SUNDAY MAY 31 ~ SAT JUNE 6

Honestly if we had any luck at all this week it would be good, all the power went out last evening, not long after I posted and was out till 4am, not fun as the Mr has a c-pap machine so his sleep was not good last night, It's dangerous to sleep without it on now. BUT we survived, today the bottom of our street is blocked off and we have to go the long way around to get out - I could see the huge hole they have dug when I went past today. Still there working tonight, I hope they don't cut the power again, I will be calling tomorrow and some one will be hearing about it if they do.

It was pretty cold overnight, and today the wind has been blowing off snow somewhere, shiver weather, it was cold at training, most kept their light sweaters on, we usually end up with just t-shirts, not today

Had my haircut, and picked up Dean, he is out of the Senior Assassin game, he let a friend tag him as he couldn't get his own target in time, they made a deal that the friend would give D $100 if he won, that is unlikely, now down to 10 players, and more than half are girls they are more strategic I think.

CHERYL I do hope he can find a donor soon it will make the treatment so much better. He will of course have to be in isolation for a while, but he is pretty much that now, hope he gets his fusion next week!

SANDRA good idea to have just a couple dishes, that way there will be far less waste and others can contribute drinks, plates etc. I love the idea of a big slab of coffee cake, we had that a few times in the US also crumble type dishes, peaches or apples, unusual for us for breakfast, but they were good.

DEVONNE good for you, that is really good to stay under, well done, it's hard work, but the health benefits are worth it. If she doesn't have red meat she needs some kind of iron, wonder why no nuts, I would expect her to give up sugar entirely, especially the drinks that are low sugar or sugar free - they are not good if she needs to lose weight.

HOLLY I can't remember if I wished you and Ralph Happy Anniversary, being over 50 years is a milestone!! I can't believe how fast the time has gone - bet its the =19.5pxsame for you

INDY he's quite the social butterfly isn't  he!! Best wishes for his surgery hope he recovers quickly. We need our hands. I do love Greek food, especially the biscuit/cake things they make, I used to make Bougatsa (sp?) it's thick  semolina custard cooled then wrapped in Phyllo pastry and baked in cigar shapes, so delish, time consuming to make, and those almond crescent biscuits tossed in powdered sugar YUM!! There is a greek restaurant where we go next week, so I'll be booking that, we'll have souvlaki and some kind of dessert, I'd rather that than Italian

Hopefully the power stays on, we have underground power all through our suburb so it's unusual to have lost it so often there is something wrong somewhere. And of course it's just our street

Re: ODT SUNDAY MAY 31 ~ SAT JUNE 6

EXCUSES, EXCUSES.......
1.  PLEASE EXCUSE TOM FOR BEING ABSENT YESTERDAY.  HE HAD DIARRHEA AND HIS BOOTS LEAK.
2.  IRVING WAS ABSENT THIS MORNING BECAUSE HE MISSED HIS BUST.

ITS 60Sf HERE AND SUNNY.  NICE DAY.

GOT A CALL FROM BITS AND PIECES YESTERDAY.  ANOTHER WITH AN ACCENT I COULD BARELY UNDERSTAND.  BUT GOT THE GIST OF IT.  I WON'T BE GETTING THE FREE PUZZLE.  I WAS SUPPOSED TO ENTER THE CODE FOR THE PUZZLE I WANTED AT THE TIME OF ORDERING, BUT THERE WAS NO PLACE ON THE PAGE THAT I SAW WHICH ASKED FOR THAT INFO.  WITH ME BEING NON-TECHY, I MAY HAVE NOT FOLLOWED THRU PROPERLY.  SHE TOLD ME I HAD TO ENTER THAT WHEN I PLACED MY ORDER.  ITS TOO LATE NOW.  BUT THEY WILL GIVE ME A $5 CREDIT ON MY NEXT ORDER.  YAH, LIKE THAT WILL HAPPEN.  ANOTHER GLITCH OR MISUNDERSTANDING IS MORE APT.  IT MAY BE I WAS IN ERROR SOMEWHERE, BUT I WAS VERY CAREFUL ABOUT READING EACH PAGE AND FOLLOWING THE PROMPTS.  SURELY AS A LIVE PERSON, SHE COULD SEND ME A PUZZLE.  IN THE MEANTIME, I WILL NO LONGER ORDER FROM THEM.  I WILL, BUY MINE FROM GOODWILL EVEN AT THEIR CURRENT PRICES.  THEY ARE STILL HALF THE COST AND SOMETIMES LESS THAN BUYING FROM BITS.

I AM SOOOO TIRED OF LEFTOVERS.  TODAY I HAVE STEAK DEFROSTED AND WILL MAKE SOME MASHED.  FOR LUNCH IT MAY BE SOME EGGS AND LINK SAUSAGE WHICH NEEDS TO BE EATEN SOON.
I HAVE A PUZZLE GOING RIGHT NOW AND MAY WORK ON THAT AGAIN TODAY.  ALSO A BOOK I STILL HAVE NOT FINISHED.  SALLY MY LIBRARIAN DELIVERS A NEW BOOK TO ME THIS MORNING AS WELL.  I NEED TO GET READING.

CHERYL......I HOPE THEY FIND A DONOR FOR DEAN VERY SOON SO HE CAN GET BACK TO HEALING AND LIVING WELL AGAIN.  CROSSING MY FINGERS AND THINKING GOOD THOUGHTS.

TRISH.....ITS TOUGH WHEN POWER GOES OUT.  EVEN IN THE WINTER FOODS CAN BE LOST WITHOUT POWER TO KEEP THEM FROZEN.  I HOPE THEY GET THE PROBLEM SOLVED QUICKLY.

DEVONNE........I WONDER ABOUT WEIGHT LOSS AND GAINS, TOO.   I ACTUALLY ATE TOO MANY SNACKS LAST NITE, ESPECIALLY LOTS OF CHIPS, AND THIS MORNING MY SCALE SHOWED ANOTHER LB LOSS.  MAYBE THE DIFFERENCE WILL SHOW UP TOMORROW.  I REALLY THINK IT TAKES A DAY OR SO TO GET THE TRUE WEIGHT.  HAVE YOU SEEN A DIFFERENCE THIS MORNING?

STAY WELL MY FRIENDS.  HUGS, QB S

Re: ODT SUNDAY MAY 31 ~ SAT JUNE 6

A quiet day here. Ralph went to Tim Horton’s with his brother for coffee, and I did some sewing. Later the AC guy came for the spring service, then we both napped. For dinner we had leftover cheesesteak and panzarotti.

It was hotter in the PacNW today than here!

Cheryl, sending positive energy Dean’s way.

Happy Pride month to all!

Re: ODT SUNDAY MAY 31 ~ SAT JUNE 6

A quiet day here, too, Holly.  It was a lovely, sunny day and Dean and I went for a 2 mile walk in the park this morning.  I planted a few petunias and that was just about it for the day.

Yes, Dean is pretty isolated, and when he does do out, he wears a medical grade face mask.  People look at him with it on, but he does not care; he just needs to get out of the house for a few minutes.  We got a take out order from Applebee's yesterday and went to the park and ate at a picnic table.  We do not eat in at any restaurant for now, just take out.

Sandra, I hope you get your free puzzle.  I also ordered enough puzzles for the free one and I got a 300 piece one that will be pretty difficult.  It is a lot of skaters on ice and snow, so most of the pieces are very similar.  I will have to look  for the shape of the piece on this one.
That is it for now.  Take care all!!

Re: ODT SUNDAY MAY 31 ~ SAT JUNE 6

DISORDER IN THE COURT......
1.  Q.  AND WHO IS THIS PERSON YOU ARE SPEAKING OF?
     A.  MY EX-WIDOW SAID IT.

2.  Q.  HOW DID YOU HAPPEN TO GO TO DR. CHENEY?
     A.  WELL, A GAL DOWN THE ROAD HAD HAD SEVERAL OF HER             CHILDREN BY DR. CHENEY AND SAID HE WAS REALLY GOOD.

NICE MORNING.  SHOULD HIT 85 TODAY.

I GOT SOME GOOD SLEEP LAST NITE, 2, 2, AND 3 HR SLEEPS WHICH IS GOOD SINCE ANYTHING OVER 6 HRS A NITE IS GOOD FOR ME.  I FEEL BETTER TODAY SO DOING MY CHORES WON'T BE A PROBLEM.
I STARTED A NEW BOOK YESTERDAY, RITA MAE BROWN'S HISS AND TELL.  I LOVE HER TRIO OF HELPERS IN A COZY MYSTERY, 2 CATS AND A CORGI DOG.  MY LIBRARIAN BROUGHT ME ONE BY KAREN ROBARDS, BEACHCOMBER.  ITS A LARGE PRINT MYSTERY BUT NOT SO COZY.  SOUNDS INTERESTING THO.
TONITE IS BINGO NITE.  I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO THAT.  I ALSO WANT TO GET SOME JIGSAW TIME IN TODAY.
NO COOKING FOR ME TODAY.  I HAVE ENOUGH TO EAT WITHOUT MORE.  I WILL BE DEFROSTING SOME CHICKEN THO FOR CHICKEN RICE SOUP ON FRIDAY.
MY TARGET ORDER SHOULD BE HERE TOMORROW.  I ORDERED A NEW OVER DOOR SHOE RACK.  MINE IS TEARING HERE AND THERE.  I USE IT TO STORE MY BOXES OF PAPER PRODUCTS, WAXED PAPER, PARCHEMENT, FOIL, ETC.  THE SLOTS ARE PERFECT TO HOLD THE ITEMS AND ITS ON MY CLOSET DOOR SO ITS OUT OF THE WAY AND A GOOD USE FOR EXTRA STORAGE.  THE CURRENT ONES I USE ARE UNDER THE COUNTER IN A TALL NARROW CARDBOARD BOX SO THEY SIT ON THEIR ENDS.  MAKES FOR EASY USE.

CHERYL.......I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT THE LOOKS FROM WEARING A MEDICAL MASK.  I WORE ONE WHEN I WENT SHOPPING, FOR A FEW YEARS IN THE WINTER TIME EVEN BEFORE COVID.  THE KIDS ESPECIALLY, WOULD POINT TO ME IN THE STORES.  BUT I NEVER GOT THE FLU SO IT WORKED OUT JUST FINE FOR ME.
TELL HIM TO KEEP SAFE.  THAT'S MORE IMPORTANT THAN STYLE.

I MADE THE STEAK AND MASHED LAST NITE AND HAVE ENUF FOR SUPPER TONITE.  I ONLY EAT 4 OZ OF MEAT AT A MEAL THESE DAYS.  AND I SHARED MY MASHED WITH NAN WITH THE BROKEN ANKLE NEXT DOOR SO I WON'T OVERINDULGE WITH THAT.  SHE LOVES MY MASHED POTATOES SO I ALWAYS SEND HER A CONTAINER WHEN I MAKE THEM.
I MAY PUT THOSE STORAGE PICS IN MY BLOG SO OTHERS CAN SEE WHAT I MEAN.  HELPS ON STORAGE ISSUES WHEN YOU HAVE LIMITED SPACE LIKE ME.

THAT'S IT.  I HAVE TO HIT THE SHOWER AND GET IN MY LAPS THIS MORNING.  STAY SAFE MY FRIENDS.  HUGS, QB S
