1. THE POLICE SAID BARTH'S 1981 TOYOTA TRAVELED DOWN THE SHOULDER FOR ALMOST 1,000 FEET AND THEN HIT A UTILITY POLE GOING ABOUT 45 MILES AN HOUR.
2. THE PATIENT WAS REFERRED TO A PSYCHIATRIST WITH A SEVERE EMOTIONAL PROBLEM.

GORGEOUS DAY HERE IN THE 70S AND SUNNY.

NOT FEELING UP TO PAR TODAY. LOW ENERGY. I AM GOING TO MAKE SOME EGG YOLK POTATOE SALAD TODAY TO GO WITH MY BAKED CHICKEN BREAST I COOKED YESTERDAY. I MAKE MY P SALAD WITH CUCUMBER SLICES. I REMOVE THE SEEDS WITH A SPOON BEFORE CUTTING THEM VERY THIN AND LEAVE ON THE SCRUBBED SKINS FOR COLOR. ALSO ONIONS, MAYO AND A BIT OF MUSTARD.
DID SOME SEWING YESTERDAY AND TODAY. TODAY I MADE SOME LABELS SO THEY ARE READY FOR THE LADIES WHEN THEY ARE FINISHED. I JUST HAVE TO ADD THE DATE AND THE FINISHED SIZES.
I ALREADY PROIMISED 2 GALS I WILL TAKE OUT OUR TRASH SO WILL GET THAT CHORE DONE AND ONLY THAT ONE. ALL THE REST CAN WAIT FOR ANOTHER DAY.

Today would have been our 59th anniversary. I celebrated it by going shopping since I didn't go yesterday. I found some nice nature artwork at Hobby Lobby and one at Ross for Less. I found nothing at Goodwill.

I'm here and certainly want to stay with y'all. This old computer is slowly chugging its way toward the end, but I will get another eventually.

We're also drying out -- lots of rain and a tropical storm. No damage here, but no way I'm subjecting this technology to thunder and lightning.

Many thoughts and prayers for all of you, especially Cheryl, Trish, and Holly who have had such sorrows recently.

Has anyone used the Stripology ruler? I thought I had seen someone on here talk about it, but I can't find the post. I'm seriously considering it.

It's pouring rain. Possibly a prelude to another round of tornadoes tonight. Arrgh! Last Friday there were 17 active tornadoes in this and the Chicago area. I do love a rainy day but not a pouring rain. My good news for what it's worth is: I have a crockpot full of taters, carrots pork chops and gravy. That, along with some leftover lettuce salad will be supper and it's all ready.

Devonne, that's a very nice pic of Billy. I'm sure this is a day of mixed emotions--the good memories and the loss. You're such a trouper and have made a good life for yourself. You're a good example for all of us.

QB, hope you're feeling better by this afternoon. It's hard to figure why some days we're up and others a bit down. I always blame it on the atmospheric pressure of which I know nothing!

Diane, good to catch up with you. Sorry your life's a bit hectic at this moment when you should be taking care of yourself. This ankle break has probaby thrown your Mom for a loop at her age. The not eating IS worrisome. Hope it evens out, soon.

A new format will more than challenge some of us, me for sure. But, with help and advise and a bit of luck, we'll be up and running before long.   Oh my.............

Janet, one of my friends had an appt. at Mayo Clinic and when they got there, her hubby had forgotten to put the suitcases in their vehicle. Their kids had to ship them up there. This same couple discovered that upon arising one morning, he had unlocked their hotel door with the key card and then left it in the door slot all night! Luckily, no one tried to come in They were a very forgiving pair and both faux pas were forgiven and forgotten and the enjoyed telling their friends. All that said to put the forgotten shorts into perspective.

I'm quitting here. This rain in the flat-roofed sunroom is so loud it's making me crazy. Pray that we don't have any tornadoes tonight. Thanks.

Carol, I have one and I think Mary Lou has one. When I was considering it, she mentioned that she hadn’t got the biggest one and regretted it, so I got the biggest one. I like it a lot. Apologies to Mary Lou if it wasn’t her!

Diane, I forgot to reply to your post. This is certainly a lot on your plate, making that long trip every weekend. Is your Mom back at home now? Is your sister younger than you? I'm sure she feels overwhelmed being the caregiver every day. How old is your Mom now and is she able to walk on her own? I hope you don't mind the questions. I do hope you and hubby are taking care of yourselves too.

Carol, good to see you posting! Never heard of that ruler, but I don't sew anymore.

Judy, thank you. I do miss him and today was a good day, but with mixed emotions. We did everything together.

Holly so sorry about Morgan. Prayers for you and the family. I looked at your shark and he is adorable. I worked with Minkee one time as a backing for a baby quilt and I will never again use it! I love the feel of it, but too difficult to with with it.

We have Bosco the giant dog with us for the week while Aaron and family are in California visiting Katie's family. Aaron and the kids want to move there, but he cannot due to child custody and also the cost of living is extremely higher than in Ohio! Perhaps when Amelia turns 18 they can do so, but that is still 5 years away. She just turned 13 on June 15.

We met once again the with bone marrow transplant doctor today. He said they are looking at mid to late July as they had several "young, healthy and exact matches" for Dean. Dean said he wants a young marathoner so he can run once again!

Please include me on any new forum also! I love talking with you all and would miss it terribly.

Sandra, do you hand draw you beautiful ladies or do you have patterns? They are so pretty and colorful. I will check out Puzzle Warehouse as Bits and Pieces are not my favorite either. I don't like how the edge pieces are weird and some just abut and do not connect. I have done 3 of my 500 piece puzzles the past few days. I bought a 4 in 1 box this last time because it was a really good sale.

Holly, you are right, I have one. Even though I wish I had the larger one, I really do like mine. For example, I am starting a small wall hanging that has lots of tiny pieces and I needed to cut over three hundred 1” squares. I used that ruler to cut strips then cross cut into squares, only took a few minutes!

I’m on the southern edge of the storm system that reaches up to Judy. I had an appointment for a massage this afternoon (it was soooo nice!) but the garage door opener wouldn’t work because the power was out. So I pulled the cord to disengage the opener and opened it manually. After power came back on later, I couldn’t get it to re-engage because I am too short and refuse to climb ladders, also too weak. So my brother came to fix it for me. He is so good to help with things like that.

Only a couple days here for us now, I am back in the apartment, so had time to figure out how to find where the documents with all the addresses were,

Today is beautiful, it’s been odd weather this time. Still a cold wind blowing though.
The guys are at the club watching some of the finals, they will spend tomorrow there too for the last of the finals , much easier if I drive them down.

The Mr should be happy, one of the teams he played is in the finals, and they played very well against them, score was 15 - 12, certainly pretty good, the other team won of their earlier match 35 - 6 😱😱

I won’t comment on all your happenings, I’ll have to go back, then I’ll lose this 😃😃

I am packing, staff yesterday left me with lots of the soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion, I packed lots of it, good to have for short trips, it’s a good product Kevin Murphy, the body lotion is lovely.

It’s sunny and warm here today. But I’m glad to head home tomorrow, Chal sent us invites to Olly’s 18th birthday Monday, small celebration, it will be hard for her, but she will make it a good memory for him and we’ll all help.

Megan is going too, Olly listens to her, always has for some reason LOL. She made him promise not to drink alcohol at the wake. He’s legally able to drink on Monday, pretty sure he will take advantage.

It looks like Boardhost has no plans to start charging its current free account message boards. However, they are not accepting any new free accounts. Unless Ashley knows something other than not listed below? Trish, is our free board ad supported? See below.

I got my hearing aids yesterday and they are tiny. I can’t even tell they are in my ears. I went to visit Gary and the kids and I could hear everything they said. I often had to get Gary and Sadie Grace to repeat things. So far I love them, except the microwave is too loud when it beeps, lol.

Marylou, I had the same garage door problem after moving here, but the pull cord had stopped right in the middle of my vehicle instead of at the end where I could reach it. I was stuck until the power came back on. I try to remember to check where the cord is now, especially if it’s bad weather.

Patty, that is a big turkey and babies too! How cute to have them in your yard. We had wild turkeys when we first moved into our other house, but not for long once other houses started being built.

Well, we made it to NY,. The ride was AWFUL. Tractor trailers, construction, traffic …and the exit numbers changed since we’ve been up here and it was very unsettling. I can’t wait to get home and we’ve only been here an hour!

JANET hope the trip =19.5pxgets better, we just got home, long day, we left at 5.30am. Stopped a few times, a =19.5pxcouple hold ups, one bad accident, I was driving and we came upon it =19.5pxsuddenly, lucky there wasn't much traffic, I had to brake hard, it was just over hill

=19.5pxThe drive is about 8 1/2 - 9 hours, add stops into that.
=19.5pxUnpacking is done and we just had dinner.

=19.5pxDEVONNE I do hope that is the case, I can't find out anything, the board will answer Admin only.. I wish we could change it. Let's hope we can stay here, but the other one will stay as an option if we ever need it - whew!!!

I’m not up to par today so I’m going to keep this short. You know, I can never type anything short, lol.😀 it’s from years of been a secretary/typist.

I woke up at 7 AM with an upset stomach and the worse back pain ever. I took two Tylenols and hope they don’t upset my stomach. Today will be a tv day for me.

I have sad news. When Gary and Emily were in Myrtle Beach, Logan took care of the animals. He came home one day from work and found Macy deceased. I won’t go into the gruesome details, but they think a coyote got her. She was the smallest mini Aussie they had and had gorgeous blue eyes. It just broke my heart when they told me this yesterday. Why they left her outside with the other dogs, I don’t know. Sadie Grace cried and she now has a new Aussie puppy. Coyotes are getting braver and coming closer to houses searching for food. They have even been spotted in my subdivision.

Trish, Ashley is on Facebook. You could send her a message there. I don’t know why the Admin wasn’t changed. She needs to tell you how to access the primary administrator account. If you can’t get that information, you can go to Boardhost Support and ask them to change it. I got the above information from AI. I don’t know how accurate it is, but it sounds good, lol.
