Theresa, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you....![]()
Linda, I do that too. Oh, the joys of aging.
I had a good shopping day yesterday. G&E loved the Hobby Lobby paintings I got them. I know it's only summer, but I got Christmas presents for Sadie Grace and gave Caleb a Hobby Lobby baseball pillow.
Gracie got a new doggie bed from Hobby Lobby. I wasn't sure she would like it. It doesn't have the sides to hold her head up, but she does.
I have an itchy rash on my back. Gary said it's 20 round spots. Stomach still tender, but better. I think this is from the cancer drug I'm taking (Tamoxifen). I'll be calling the oncologist today.
Marylou, we always go to the apple farm a little further north and get their apple and peach fries pies. They are so delicious and you can watch them being made. They have so many different things, all kinds of bread.
Today is house cleaning day. I have another load for the thrift store...a lot of blouses that no longer fit.

EXCUSES, EXCUSES......
1. I KEPT NANCY HOME BECAUSE SHE HAD TO GO CHRISTMAS SHOPPING BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW WHAT SIZE SHE WEARS.
2. PLEASE EXCUSE MY SON'S TARDINESS. I FORGOT TO WAKE HIM UP AND I DID NOT FIND HIM TILL I STARTED MAKING HIS BED.
ITS IN THE 70S AGAIN TODAY. SOME RAIN EXPECTED ON FRIDAY BUT IT'S OK. I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE.
THERESA......ITS BIRTHDAY TIME FOR YOU. WISHING YOU A FABULOUS DAY.
DEVONNE.....HOW NICE YOU GOT SOME OF YOUR XMAS SHOPPING DONE SO EARLY. ALWAYS A WIN-WIN. GLAD YOUR FAMILY LIKED THE PAINTINGS YOU GOT FOR THEM.
I MADE THE BELINKIS FOR SUPPER YESTERDAY. I DIDN'T MANAGE TO GRATE MANY TATERS SO I DID NOT SHARE THIS TIME. BUT I HAVE ENOUGH LEFTOVER TO HAVE FOR SUPPER TODAY AFTER BINGO. I WILL BE BAKING A CHICKEN BREAST EARLIER SO I CAN HAVE IT FOR LUNCH WITH SOME LEFTOVER RICE ARONI. IT NEEDS EATING.
I LOST THE NASTY COUPLE OF POUNDS I GAINED SO I AM AT MY USUAL WEIGHT THAT I'VE HAD THE LAST FEW MONTHS. I HAVE A HEART DR APPT JULY 16TH SO I AM TRYING TO LOSE ANOTHER 5 LBS. I LOST 30 THE FIRST 6 MONTHS AND NOTHING SO FAR THE 2ND 6 MONTHS. I REALLY NEED TO MAKE AN EFFORT AND STOP THE SNACKING AT NITE. I LOVE TOO MANY GOOD THINGS.
ITS BINGO NITE TONITE. WISH ME LUCK. I'VE LOST FOR THE LAST 3 WEEKS. IT WOULD BE NICE TO WIN A BIT TONITE. CROSSING MY FINGERS.
ONE OF OUR BINGO LADIES GOT SCAMMED THIS WEEK. THEY GOT INTO HER CREDIT UNION AND CLEANED IT OUT. IT WAS FOR A FEW THOUSAND I THINK, NOT SURE. SHE GOT A PHONE CALL AND A LADY TOLD HER SOMEONE WAS TRYING TO SCAM HER AND SHE WOULD CHECK OUT HER ACCOUNT IF SHE WOULD GIVE HER THE NUMBER. FOOLISHLY SHE DID JUST THAT. SURPRISE, SURPRISE.
NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER GIVE OUT ANY ACCOUNT NUMBERS OR YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER OVER THE PHONE OR TO ANY EMAIL YOU GET. ANOTHER THING THESE DAYS IS THEY CAN GET YOU IF YOU SAY 'YES' OVER THE PHONE. THEY RECORD IT AND USE IT TO GET INTO YOUR ACCOUNT STATING YES, YOU GAVE THEM THE AUTHORITY AND BEFORE YOU KNOW IT, YOU'RE SCAMMED.
WHEN SOMEONE CALLS AND SAYS "AM I SPEAKING TO JOE JONES?" IF YOU ARE JOE JONES NEVER SAY 'YES.' JUST ASK WHY ARE THEY CALLING? THEN TELL THEM THERE'S A BAD CONNECTION AND ASK THEM TO SEND YOU A LETTER BUT DON'T GIVE OUT YOUR ADDRESS. I'VE DONE THAT A COUPLE OF TIMES.
THAT'S IT. MY ANSWER TO SCAMMERS.
I HAVE BEEN READING AND WORKING MY JIGSAW PUZZLE. ITS A DULL LIFE BUT ITS PRETTY GOOD.
STAY SAFE. HUGS, QB S ![]()

I’ve got my clothes all packed, working on the other stuff I need, like meds. Ed wants to leave around 9 or so. I’m taking my iPad and Kindle.
We went to lunch at our favorite drive up. Fantastic smash burgers. Dinner will be leftover lasagna.
Theresa, Happy Birthday! I’ll wave as we go thru Georgia on Friday!
Eddie just called! He can now put RN, BSN after his name! He’s so happy and so relieved. He found out exactly 48 hours after taking the test.

Well, I'm not crowing today, either. Long sleeves and even my little heater on as I sit here.
But, starting tomorrow it's to be hot and humid most of next week. Maybe June is no longer my favorite month! ![]()
Theresa, happy, happy birthday to you. Hope you have a dandy one and many more. ![]()
Howie is out to lunch with the ROMEOS, then, since it's a hop down the road, a stop at W/M.
We can't seem to avoid that place. Got groceries, yesterday, but not there. Have you heard not to buy meat that's pkged. on BLACK plastic trays? Somebody mentioned in Heloise's newspaper column those of that color are made from recycled electronics and are toxic.
Heloise concurred. Most of the meat in the grocery we went to had black trays, so being a worry wart, I ended up with only 3 pkgs, that were wrapped with white trays. Is this true? About the black? Always something!! Beef Mart wraps in paper as you pick out your choices. Costs more, but you can get exactly the amt. you want, not what they decide for you. You do need to rather know ahead so you don't stand there dithering...
I have a new "animal" to add to my other ones--a small cement hen that wanted to come home with me from Menard's. I'm calling her, Henny Penny. She totally gray, (like cement !
) so I
painted just her comb and wattles, red, and her feet, beak and eyes, yellow, not gaudy, but muted, and I think it adds some definition. And, I have ordered from QVC a small table top fountain, actually more of a bubbler so less splatter. I either get nothing forever or splurge and buy a few things at once, it often seems. But I do like to check out what is selling on those channels. TV window shopping.
Mary Lou, how nice you got to see your son and family plus got a bonus day. And soon, Lynn and Wm. for a visit.
The peach pie sounds wonderful.
Do you know or wonder where they got all that musical/acting talent? I do. She doesn't perform anymore and for a long time, but ML sang for many, too many for HER to remember, weddings and also played keyboard and sang with a family gospel group (not our family) in her younger days. We were their groupies of a sort and often went to hear them when churches still had Sunday evening services and had them come to sing. Her dad and I could sing on key, and in choirs, but neither is us were soloists by any means.
Well, I'd better call this quits and look busy when H. gets home. However, this is my time just for me, so I do what I want. And, he never says anything about what I do or don't get done.
Have a good day. Indy

Indy, I googled black plastic food containers. Most of what I found referred to take-out containers, I suppose the same would apply to meat trays. The main cautions I found is that we should not heat anything in them or reuse them. Otherwise they are relatively safe.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY THERESA, enjoy your special day, hope you get to do something special (((hugs)))
HOLLY getting ready to go always takes time, unpacking at the other end is easy LOL Hope the trip goes well.
INDY always something to get when you go out isn't there, interesting about ML singing, Megan sings well, I can't hold a tune LOL Although I do like to sing along in the car on my own, probably sounds like cats wailing LOL Enjoy Henny Penny, will she go on display in the kitchen, loved that book as a child!!
SANDRA wishing you luck at Bingo, glad to hear you got your pancakes, still haven't made any, I am too lazy to grate the potatoes LOL Hope Matt and Daphne enjoy their beak away.
It's been dreary here today, got drizzly at training, and it was COLD we all had warm jackets on to start. The A/C is on, and I now have the clothes dryer on too, may as well - I have lunch tomorrow with my school friends, but I need to leave early, unless Dean talks his mother into a half day. He only has 2 subjects tomorrow, one with a casual teacher, and the other is just revision, so he COULD do it at home, he wants to watch the soccer, Aus is playing around noon our time. I think he said Paraguay, wasn't really listening.
I want to get some knitting done, but I need to warm up with a cup of tea, don't usually drink it this late in the afternoon, but I need something hot, I have some fruit blend that is good hot!
I should be sewing, but just can't get interested, I have so little to do on the Alice quilt to finish, just procrastinating (sp? that doesn't look right ). I could do the border blocks, they are more interesting!
Offline
Indy, my grandkids get their singing ability mostly from their mother. She has a fantastic voice, could have been professional in my opinion. David also has talent but I have no idea where his came from. My voice is only good enough to sing with large groups and Bill’s was worse.

On the subject of packing….it took us two days to sort and neatly pack what we needed for our little trip this past weekend and about 20 mins to throw everything into the bags and get out of the room. lol. We could never fly as we always take too much. His fault not mine.
I can go to a quilt retreat for 5 days with one bag. He needs 2 + for a 3 day weekend!

DISORDER IN THE COURT......
1. Q. DO YO KNOW HOW FAR PREGNANT YOU ARE RIGHT NOW?
A. I WILL BE THREE MONTHS NOVEMBER 8TH.
Q. APPARENTLY THEN, THE DATE OF CONCEPTION WAS AUGUST 8TH?
A. YES.
Q. WHAT WERE YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND DOING AT THAT TIME?
WILL HIT 80S HERE TODAY BUT BACK TO 70S TOMORROW. LOVELY DAY OUT THERE. SUN IS SHINING. OUR VACATIONERS, OF WHICH WE GET MANY IN SUMMER, WILL BE HAPPY.
HOLLY......CONGRATS TO OUR EDDIE! HE'S NOW A REGISTERED R.N. HOORAY FOR HIM.
THERESA.....I HOPE YOU ENJOYED YOUR DAY YESTERDAY.
LINDA......YOUR NIECE WILL BE HAPPY SHE'S HAD THE CATARACT SURGERY WHEN SHE FINDS OUT HOW WELL SHE CAN SEE. I FOUND IT AMAZING MYSELF.
LUCKY ME, I HIT IT BIG AT BINGO LAST NITE. I WON $10. I THINK THAT'S THE BIGGEST WIN FOR ME EVER.
TODAY IS CRAFT MORNING. I WILL BE BRINGING ALONG 2 LADIES WHO NEED THEIR BINDING HAND SEWN. THEN ITS LABELS AND I CAN HANG THEM FOR VIEWING.
AS FOR A SINGING VOICE, MY STEP-FATHER'S SISTER HAD A MARVELOUS SOPRANO VOICE. SHE SANG SOLOS AT CHURCH EVERY WEEK. I USED TO LOVE TO HEAR HER. I THOUGHT I HAD A GREAT VOICE WHEN I WAS A KID AND WOULD TRY TO SING SOPRANO AROUND THE HOUSE. I LEARNED LATER MY VOICE WAS NOTHING TO BRAG ABOUT AND WAS ACTUALLY ALTO AT SCHOOL FOR CHORUS. BUT I STILL SING HERE ALONE NOW AND THEN JOINING IN ON A SONG. I HAVE CLOSE-CAPTIONING AND CAN READ THE WORDS WHEN I WATCH A TV SPECIAL, LIKE ANDY WILLIAMS OR THE OLDIES FROM THE 50S OR THE SONG FROM THOMAS, THE TANK ENGINE CARTOONS.
NOTHING TO COOK TODAY. I HAVE LEFTOVERS. I AM THINKING OF WHAT TO MAKE THIS WEEKEND. AS FOR SUPPER FRIDAY, TOMORROW NITE, WE HAVE OUR ITALIAN SANDWICH POTLUCK SUPPER AT 5 PM. EVERYONE CAN MAKE THEIR OWN SANDWICH. I AM BRINGING THE 2 MEATS, 2 CHEESES, TOMATOES, GREEN PEPPERS, AND ONIONS. OTHERS ARE BRINGING THE OTHER INGREDIENTS PLUS SIDES AND DESSERTS. THERE ARE 5, SOMETIMES 6, OF US THAT CONTRIBUTE ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. WE HOPE THIS WAY, ONE MAIN DISH (OR TWO SOMETIMES), THERE WILL BE FEWER LEFTOVERS TO BRING HOME.
I HAVE TO GET IN MY LAPS NOW AND CHECK FOR A SERVING PLATTER SO I CAN ARRANGE THE VEGGIES AND MEATS.
TRISH HAS AN ANNIVERSARY ON THE 27TH WHICH IS OUR 26TH SO REMEMBER HER AND WARWICK TOMORROW.
HAVE A NICE DAY FRIENDS. HUGS, QB S ![]()

Holly, congratulations to Eddie!
It’s going to be another beautiful hot day here. We do have a chance of rain today and tomorrow. I’ve had to call my lawn guy sooner because so much rain has really made my grass grow.
I made pork chops in the crockpot yesterday, and they fell apart, they were so tender. This time I only added water, Worchester sauce and salt and pepper, no gravy. I’ve never been able to make tender pork chops in a skillet or oven. I read I’m overcooking them, so I’ll keep trying..
I’ve decided to sell my king size adjustable bed frame. I’m going to get a queen size mattress, and one that is lower. I’m so short, I’m finding it’s harder to get into this bed. This may be after our cruise in September, but I hope it’s sooner.

Trish, Henny Penny should really be an outdoor decoration, but I will display her in the sunroom on the floor peeking out from a side chair. Howard could not see the difference in her after my painting. But, that's what I wanted, something very subtle and then, of course, he is a man!
Mary Lou, my Danny also has a good voice. The two of them together blend wonderfully. We always used to have a session of singing Christmas Carols with ML playing, but now since she always has to host the dinner, it's too much for her. I'm an alto but as I've gotten older my voice has gotten croakier and I'm even a bit embarrassed in front of Howard when I sing along on Sunday morning.
(That me blushing...) ![]()
Thank you for checking out the black trays. I didn't think of that and it makes me move from freaking out.
Devonne, I could successfully cook the old-time pork chops before all hogs were bred for lean meat. Now, even when I crockpot them, they're, tender, but too dry. Pork steak is a bit better but not perfect. Ah, a perfect pork chop...gone, like so many other things we took for granted.
Sorry, I'm having a pity party. After doing nothing to it, my e-mail carrier will not let me log in.
Even Howard can't get it. He did check my account on one of his computers and it says it's the wrong password, and the one they list IS wrong. When he comes in from the garage, we're going to try to change that to the correct one and see what happens. I feel trapped by these devices that we must have now. When I tried to click on ML's profile on my phone, this morning, every other one would come up but not hers!
QB, congrats on your big Bingo win last night. I misread your comment about your ladies needing their binding finished and thought, for a moment, you meant you were sewing bindings for some of your fellow residents.
That would be a pain!
Wishing Holly and co. a safe trip for a sad occasion. Will be nice to see family members, tho. Funerals and wedding, two sides of a coin.

ML and I have decided to go on hiatus with our project here for the rest of the summer. Each week one of us cancels due to unforseen circumstances and we do want to do some fun things, too while it's warm weather. Their redo has turned into what seems like a remodel to her, and takes a lot of time and thought and angst, to be honest.
Linda, that was a nice visit and maybe a surprise from your niece. Glad she thought of you and Darrell. Friend, Albert who came to help Howard with a project on Monday, came in and stayed another hour visiting with us. He did that last year, too. Most of us would be too busy and rushed for something like that, so I did appreciate it.
Blessings, my dears... Indy

Judy, maybe your project will be a better one for this fall with ML. I didn’t know there was a pork steak. I will have to check that out. I’m more a chicken fan than pork, but it is the other white meat..
About cataract surgery, I have noticed after the surgery my eyes get drier. I have eye drops on my nightstand and eye drops on my end table. I’ve also had a little blurriness this year. It quickly clears up when I use the eye drops. Does anyone else have these problems?
Going to be 87 today and 91 this weekend. I feel sorry for my family at the ballpark. This has become an every weekend thing. They had two ball games last night which I find totally ridiculous but of course I don’t say that, lol..😆 at least, the trip to Puerto Rico was canceled. I think they have one more trip back to Texas.
Greg has been dealing with a frozen shoulder. He is going to physical therapy to treat it. I read it can last one to three years, as it goes through different stages. He said I warned him things start happening when you turn 50, lol. He will be 50 in December.
I finished the sailboat painting I got at Goodwill. I added a lot more birds; the original painting only had two.I wasn’t happy with how my clouds turned out. They were too white, so I darkened them with gray. I watched an artist use a cotton ball and that’s what I did. I’m happy with it now. I don’t like how the moon looks, but I can’t change that. I’ve noticed on art videos on YouTube, sometimes they don’t fuss over how something looks. They just move on to the next painting.

ACCIDENTAL BLOOPERS......
1. AS I APPROACHED THE INTERSECTION, A STOP SIGN SUDDENLY APPEARED WHERE NO STOP SIGN HAD EVER APPEARED BEFORE. I WAS UNABLE TO STOP IN TIME TO AVOID THE ACCIDENT.
2. I PULLED AWAY FROM THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, GLANCED AT MY MOTHER-IN-LAW, AND HEADED OVER THE EMBANKMENT.
TODAY IS OUR RAINY DAY, ALL DAY. CAN'T COMPLAIN. RAIN IS SO GOOD FOR OUR FORESTS.
TRISH.......HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO YOU AND WARWICK. I HOPE YOU HAVE SOME FUN PLANS OR GOOD FOOD TO EAT.
DEVONNE......I KNOW THAT SOME MONTHS AFTER MY CATARACT SURGERY, I HAD TO HAVE SOME LASER WORK DONE TO CORRECT MY VISION. I ALSO HAVE ASTIGMATISM SO NOW AND THEN ONE OF MY EYES MOMENTARILY WILL SEE THINGS AS THO LOOKING THRU WATER. IT CLEARS QUICKLY THO.
MY ONLY DAU AND GRDAU G VISITED YESTERDAY WHICH WAS SO NICE. MY DAU SHOWED ME HOW TO DO EMAILS FROM MY PHONE AND ALSO HOW TO USE THE PLAY STORE FEATURE TO ADD A SITE TO MY PHONE. AMAZING. IT WILL BE NICE TO KNOW WHEN MY COMPUTER FINALLY GOES TO COMPUTER HEAVEN. THO SHE COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO POST ON THIS ODT SITE FROM MY PHONE. RIGHT NOW I PREFER THE LARGER SCREEN OF MY PUTER. LIKE I SAID, I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT TECHNOLOGY. MY GRDAU HAD AN ITALIAN SANDWICH WHILE HERE. MY DAU EATS LIKE A BIRD SO HAD NOTHING. I SENT THEM HOME WITH LOTS OF BOOKS TO READ AND MY DAU BROUGHT ME SOME IN MY FAVORITE GENRE, COZY MYSTERIES. WE KEEP EACH OTHER SUPPLIED.
TONITE IS OUR ITALIAN SANDWICH POTLUCK SUPPER. THEY CAN MAKE THEIR OWN WITH ALL THE INGREDIENTS LAID OUT. THERE WILL ALSO BE CHIPS, A SALAD, AND A DESSERT OR TWO. IT SHOULD BE A FUN ONE.
I AM GOING TO MAKE A SMALL POT OF CHICKEN RICE SOUP TO HAVE HANDY FOR A MEAL OR THREE. I AM SURE THERE WILL BE LEFTOVERS TONITE FROM THE POTLUCK BUT THEN THERE WILL BE SOUP IF I PREFER IT.
WELL, ITS TIME TO DO MY LAPS. STAY SAFE MY FRIENDS. HUGS FOR YOU ALL. QB S
EDITED ON SAT FOR A SPELLING ERROR ONLY.

Everyone must be busy, today. I am, too, sort of. Liked your bloopers, QB, as always. Nice of the girls to visit you and bring you some books.
Yes, Devonne, we'll get back to it in the fall. We were going to do my clothes and then stop for a while, anyway. Now, I hope to do them on my own, bit by bit, but we'll see. My good intentions often remain just intentions. Greg's shoulder sounds painful. That won't interfere with your traveling plans, I hope. I'm glad your little sweetie likes her new bed. ![]()
Pork steak is a cut from the shoulder. Not as lean as the loin and not as pretty; larger than chops, more fat, but in my opinion, more flavor. We like them grilled.
Happy Annversary, Trish and Warwick. After all your travel and family things, I imagine it'll be rather low key this year.
Howard just baked a frozen Dutch apple pie. Hard to get used to...Howard in the kitchen. But, I'm not complaining! We're having baked chicken drumsticks, tonight. It's chilly again today, or we wouldn't be running the oven. So it's time to close this and get them baking.
Have a good evening and sweet dreams. Indy

I waved to Devonne and Theresa from I -95! Ed asked if GA has any beaches, I said I’d ask my GA ladies!
So much construction! Ed drove 12 hours yesterday, and we stopped right before the GA border, did 5 hours today. Stopped at Bucky’s, the place was insane. I don’t ever need to go again.
Manda and kids landed, they are waiting for Steph to land. Ralph is napping , he was cross eyed tired. The others are at the pool.
I’ll be glad when tomorrow is over. And today’s is the 7th anniversary of Joseph’s death.

Holly, Georgia has Tybee Island, St. Simon, Jekyll and there's Cumberland Island which is left to nature and you can only get there by ferry. Wild horses still live there (feral like the cats, lol). To me, these are not "typical beaches" like the Florida beaches. I couldn't see you waving as I'm on the Alabama side, but maybe Theresa did, lol. ![]()
Here's the shelf unit I put together to hold my pants (second picture.) I really needed this. Some of these pants are 15-20 years old. Wonder if the fabric is still good, lol? ![]()
The first picture is my blouses. I need to organize the top rack. My folded blouses (sleeveless, work blouses) are on a four tier shelf unit to the right. It holds my quilts and pillows. My long sleeve blouses/sweaters are in another bedroom closet. I love wearing sweaters, but the winter season is short here.
I had homemade pizza for dinner. It's the first time I've used fresh, presliced mozzarella cheese. It was so good!

I'm still working on the moon in the sailboat painting. Decided to make it a full moon....or sun, lol? Whatever it is! ![]()

While I think you all for our anniversary wishes, it's not our anniversary, it's in April, I think I have BJ's anniversary on the first day of this thread, might be the reason LOL I think I'll pass on adding another year, we have enough already LOL
SANDRA wow!!! great win for bingo, that is quite a lot. Enjoy!! Lovely to have a visit from family, I know they are busy with their lives, and the young ones can always teach us about techy stuff, I often call on the boys for something..
HOLLY I'm glad you got there OK, it's a long journey, you will be stiff after being so long travelling. I hope the joy of family being together lessens the pain for all of you (((hugs)))
DEVONNE wow!! what a lot of shirts/blouses. I thought I had a lot till I saw yours, I have way more summery things than winter too! I love having the lower rack for pants, we do that too. 2/3s of our long closet is for the twin racks, and the other bit for longer things.
INDY I am thinking about doing my clothes - again - too, I bought some new things, I have some in the spare room and really need to get rid of them, haven't worn them in months, so doubt I will now LOL
I had fun at the LQS yesterday. Dropped in for coffee with Julie and Sarah and they also had a sale for Liberty prints, the kids had given me a voucher, so I spent it all on them, got 10 metres of fabric, well a bit more as she was generous with some on the end of the bolt LOL
I plan on using lots of it at quilt camp, so need to chop it into 2 1/2" strips.
Nothing much happening here, I did train this morning, we had 2 newbies start, one stayed with me, she was sweet, and very keen, the other was nearby and also kept checking in with me, the coach was also spending time with them to make sure they were doing things right.
It's been cold all day, hoping Megan feels better, she sounded awful last night, knew she would get sick, Dean was unwell and he shared, she is run down so of course she is worse than he was - poor thing, only one week to go till end of term, I'll take her some soup tomorrow.
On Friday after shopping at LQS I went to lunch with my school friends, so good to see them all, we think we look pretty good for our age, hard to believe it was 72 yrs since we started school together.
I did lots of shopping online, had deliveries 3 days in a row!! One was a Russell Hobbs cooker, much the same as the Insta Pot. I had given the old Tefal one to my niece, but this one is better. and on sale!! So too good to resist. It will make the soup tomorrow, then risotto tomorrow night, I just need to wash it all first. AND read the instructions LOL
I also prepared my sourdough and it will go in the oven in the morning.
Sweet dreams everyone

I meant to comment about the pork, I don't find it too tough when it's lean, I use both steaks and shoulder chops. I quite like that it's lean, I just use a non stick pan tiny bit of olive oil and fry them, they are moist still - wonder if it's the lower heat I use?? They are not soft like slow cooked, but still juicy and tender LOL or am I just lucky!!
