Re: OODT SUNDAY MARCH 8 ~ SAT MARCH 14

IRISH BULL.......
1.  HALF THE LIES OUR OPPONENTS TELL  ABOUT US ARE NOT TRUE.
2.  THIS PIECE IS CHOCK FULL OF OMMISSIONS.

IT JUST MIGHT HIT 70 TODAY.  ITS 62 ALREADY AND SUNNY.  LOVELY SPRING-LIKE DAY.

ITS A GOOD THING I ORDERED A NEW PEDESTAL FAN.  MY CURRENT ONE JUST WON'T SPIN.  IT ROTATES BACK AND FORTH BUT THE BLADES ARE STILL.  LUCKY ME IT ARRIVES TOMORROW.  FOR TODAY, MY WINDOWS ARE OPEN AND I HAVE MY DESK FAN ON THE FLOOR.  ITS A VERY GOOD ONE WITH LOTS OF SPEED AND WIND.

MY DAU TAKES ME TO MY DR TOMORROW SO I AM GOING TO MAKE BUNDIES TODAY.  SHE AND FAMILY JUST LOVE THEM.  ITS BEEN AWHILE SINCE I BOTHERED, LIKE XMAS TIME.

NOTHING ELSE DIFFERENT FOR ME.  USUAL WEEKLY CHORES AND THE MONTHLY ONES.  THE MONTHLY ONES ARE SO DARN EASY NOW THAT EVERYTHING IS RE-ORGANIZED.
HAVE A GOOD DAY MY FRIENDS.  HUGS, QB S

Re: OODT SUNDAY MARCH 8 ~ SAT MARCH 14

We had a lot of rain and lightning last night. Gracie was so anxious to go outside; she tried, but ran back inside, lol. I put down pee pads but she won't use them.

I talked to my sister this morning. Melena had to repeat everything I said. She fell out of her wheelchair Saturday, broke her glasses and has two black eyes. She said housekeeping was understaffed & she was helping.  Melena asked about strapping her in the chair and it's against Hippa regulations.

Janet, what colors were the rooms painted? I have two bedrooms I don't use with beds! Maybe I need to get rid of one of the beds and have an artist studio....hmmm?  I'm going to ask Hannah if she wants this bed for Caleb.

Theresa, good to know there is followup for home schooling! I watch a homesteading video on YT and she home schools their 3 boys. She has a fantastic room set up for school. She gave up her college professor job to become a farmer's wife and a stay at home mom/teacher.

I'm having a late cup of coffee, then headed to the shower and Dollar Tree.

We used to”Icy” for one BR and bath and Rainwashed for the other BR.  Sherman Wiiliams.
If you don’t need the BR make it into a craft room for sure!.

Janet, I decided which spare room to be my sewing room based on the number of windows. Nothing like natural light!

Re: OODT SUNDAY MARCH 8 ~ SAT MARCH 14

Devonne, a craft room in one of your spare bedrooms sounds like a great idea!  Then you would not have to put "things away" all the time when you are not finished with a project.  My "sewing room" is Anthony's old bedroom.  It still has a queen bed in it, but I have two long tables with my sewing machine and cutting pad and and they stay up all the time.  My fabric is in totes under the tables and it works out well.  I also have some stuff in the closet since nobody uses it.

Holly, I agree with the natural light.  Unfortunately, my house faces south and we have tons of trees, so I don't get a whole lot of light.

It was drizzling and breezy today and it is really getting cooler, but I sure enjoyed the nice March weather while we had it.  Supposed to be much cooler the next two weeks.

Nothing much else to say, so will close.  Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Re: OODT SUNDAY MARCH 8 ~ SAT MARCH 14

Good evening ladies. Didn't think this would affect me but here I am crying over the keyboard. Wow! This is a lot. My mom was such a presence in this home for so many years! Throughout her health battles and screaming headaches, she always had a smile and positive thing to say. She NEVER felt sorry for herself. The very end of her speaking she asked me "what do the poor people that have no one to help them do?" It really bothered her to think of the possibility that there are others with no advocate or love. Always felt there were others worse off.
I am so sad to have lost her but thankful she is resting pain free and worry free. I haven't the time to read all the posts but would like to pop in once in a while if I may.
I promised her in her last minutes that I would finish the quilt we started together and chewed her out for not finishing the binding on one big one.  I've been in her cozy quilt cottage tonight making curtains for a rental property that she strongly supported me turning into a traveling nurse rental. I am passionately finishing it as quickly as possible. From the ground up, its a lot. Also removed the yard and relandscaping it. I will add a star magnolia as they are just now blooming to remind me of this special time. Thank you for listening to her and being her daily friend with her coffee and protein balls     Lots of love, Tracy
