Linda, I'm very concerned about Darrell falling. When is his next dr.'s appt.?

Greg has been visiting today. He gets lonesome when he doesn't have Carter. I enjoy his company very much. We both like the same foods.

Linda, when I tripped over a cord and fell a few years ago, Ralph got a thing from Amazon for when there’s a fall. It goes almost flat, you scotch over and sit on it, push a button (it’s electric) and it raises you up til you can get your feet under you. It was about $500, I think. I can find a link, if you want to see it.

Janet, sigh. I know the gas fireplace is safe, it’s Ralph (that’s who the sigh is for). He’s so worried the house will burn down. So we’ll go to electric.

We had a late lunch at Applebees with F and C. Her brother had a stroke this morning, he’s 74. It’s affected vision and speech. They’re hoping it will resolve.

This entire week has been a battle to keep him side and not going down our icy driveway. He would be a world of hurt laying outside until I could get help. When we waited for help didn't have to worry about the cold. One time last Sunday he wanted to shovel his way to the mail box for a newspaper that wasn't even delivered. He is so stubborn. I am so worried that a fall may cause an injury. He won't always use his cane. He really more than likely should be using the walker. Too stubborn .

DEVONNE and HOLLY thanks - hopefully DEVONNE will be able to post, I haven't had much luck with that site either, last time I tried I couldn't get the pic to load here.

SANDRA after I posted the instructions on how I did it for Postimages it wouldn't work the next time, it had changed format - again - too frustrating, there must be an easier way. Enjoy your books - and have a relax today.

DEVONNE how do you send your pics through?? Your pics are always clear and a good size.

Hopefully everyone is well, STRINGS I do hope that D keeps safe, an awful worry for you.

The Mr had his Drs appt today - finally - and he is to have a cortisone injection in his heel on Wed, should be fun, I'm not going LOL Leo told him the pain scale for the injection is 10/10 and he will give him local injection first, but that will hurt too. And quite possibly he will have to have it again in time.

I had a yoga class booked today, but it had to be cancelled, no one else booked, so they offered me the studio to do bike and rowing exercise, still feel ok, I didn't do it for the hour, just 1/2 hour.

I was planning on finishing a couple blocks today as well, but ran out of time, no idea where my day goes!!

GOOD MORNING!

BURRRRR...... SUPOSED TO GET ABOVE FREEZING BUT WILL TAKE DAYS FOR ENOUH MELTING.

AST LEAST MONDAY THRU THURSDAY, NO NEWSPAPER. MAIL A DIFFERENT SITUATION. MOST OF OUR BILLS ATE ONLINE, BUT HAVE TROUBLE CONVINCING HIM IT IS NOT WOTH THE RISK FOR JUNK MAIL. TODD WILL BRING THE MAIL INSIDE WHEN HE GETS HOME.

YESTERDAY WAS FIRST DAY TODD HAS WORKED 12 HOUR DAY SINCE THE PREVIOUS SUNDAY. USUALLY HE WORKS A 5 DAY WEEK. MISS HIS DAYS OFF. HOPE CAN GET OUT TO SEE ABOUT BUYING SOME MORE VALENTINES. PURCHASED SOME BUT WANT MORE, ESPECIALLY SOME GENERIC..

TOMORROW WILL BE 2 WEEKS SINCE GOING ANYWHERE. HAD BEEN DEPENDING ON BECKY GETTING ME OUT FOR A SPELL. SHE HAS BEEN STAYING WITH AN AUNT THAT SUFFERED A STRIKE. MISS HER HELP AT THE HOUSE TOO.

EVERY DAY IS A DAY CLOSER TO SPRING. THEN WILL BE CLISER TO COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SUMMER HEAT.

Need to add: WE DO USPS INFORMED DELIVERY. DEVONNE RECOMMENDED THAT A WHILE BACK.. IT HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL. WHEN THE DRIVE IS SLICK OR NOT, I STILL TRY TO KEEP HIM FROM GPING TO THE MAIL BOX.. SINCE HE RETIRED, HE HAS MADE A HABIT OF GETTING YHE MAIL. THINK IT IS A CONTROL THING AS WELL.

MY SIS DOESN'T GO FOR HER MAIL FOR A FEW WEEKS AT A TIME, YEAR ROUND. SHE HAS AN ELDERLY NEIGHBOR WHO IS LIKE THAT DARRELL AND WATCHES FOR THE MAIL JEEP AND THINKS HE SHOULD GO GET IT AS SOON AS PULLS AWAY FROM THE BOXES.

DRIVEWAY IS CLEARING UP BUT STILL CLUMPED FROM THE STREET PLOW AND DRIVEWAY SHOVELING. FOUR BOXES ARE BETWEEN OUR DRIVE AND NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR.

LOOKING FORWARD TO SOME OF THE OLYMPIC GAMES.

Trish, I use the Post Images and copy the direct link. I had to resize this, as it was too blurry a bigger size.

I went to the dentist this morning. Wednesday I woke up with my teeth very tender on the left side. I have a deep cavity that needs a root canal, and she said I also need gum surgery. It's going to be an extraction only this Thursday.

The lady above in that video is who I bought my little bird from to paint. She did custom drapery and roman blinds. She retired in December at age 76!

Off to fix a late lunch!

BJ, it's wonderful to hear from you, in person. Take care of yourself and of course, Frank.

Oh boy, I can see it all coming! I'd put Howard up against any of our men for stubbornness!
However, he can walk better and easier than I can, so he gets the mail and paper after that long trek down our driveway and crossing a main highway. I'm forbidden to cross the road by ML. And, I agreeably comply. If only those two boxes were on our side of the road.

February is always our wintry-est month, but after this January, who knows? I just made an appt. with a dermatologist for Howard. His skin issues are getting worse and I'm convinced he may be having a reaction to one of his meds. Now...how do they figure out which one when he takes so many? Wouldn't you know, they could see him at the same exact time tomorrow that I had a long-scheduled appt. at the dentist to have my permanent crown put in/on? Fortunately, the dentist could still see me at another time tomorrow.
And... H. just told me to make another one at the hand dr. His trigger finger is worse.

Devonne, it's nice that Greg and you can hang out together like you do. And to enjoy the same food is a real bonus. Enjoy your times together...it's also a big bonus to have a grown son all to yourself.

I often (every day) wonder where my time went, also. Plus, after making phone calls for appts. and other things I don't want to do, I'm always worn out and my eyes feel funny like I've been up for too many hours. Silly... isn't that?

I have to put a meme on here that made me really laugh.
"I see people my age out climbing mountains and zip lining and here I am feeling good about myself because I got my leg through my underwear without losing my balance!"

Linda, go in Amazon and in the search put medihoist electric patient lift. It’s $449.

Sally is done except for her face. Still figuring that out. I started a fabric Valentine’s Day wreath. There’s a pic from the description on my blog, and I’ll add a pic of mine when it’s done.

I watched the first episode of Best Medicine and barely got thru it. I like Annie Potts, and she looks awful! It felt like the writers were trying really hard to make it funny, but failing. I deleted the rest from my DVR. Just not made for me.

It’s actually 31 out! And sunny! Tomorrow morning I go for the MOHS surgery on another area of basal cell skin cancer, on my right cheek, a little below the orbit bone.

Good evening all.

Holly, Dean and I really liked Best Medicine. The humor is sarcastic I think, but funny and weird. Annie is a lobsterwoman, so that is the reason for her appearance. I love her in anything. I like it because no foul language, no sex and no nudity.

Still cold. I had an appointment to get bloodwork done this morning. Went out for that and that was all. I really need to go to the store with Dean to get some groceries and we may do that in the morning since I go back to the orthopedic doctor in the afternoon.

Our postal mailbox is at the end of our drive, just a few feet, so no problem with getting the mail. However, the snow plow broke our mailbox AGAIN the other day! It goes so fast down our road (speed limit 20) and throws that ice and snow against the mailboxes and they break over. Dean is thinking of putting a section of a plywood sheet up in front of the mailbox like many in the area have. The address would be painted on the board and hopefully the mailbox saved.

Holly, that machine sounds like an interesting thing. I will have to look it up just to see it.

GOOD MORNING!

BUSY DAY AHEAD. PODIATRIST APPOINTMENT. TODD FINALLY HAS A DAY OFF AND HE WILL TAKE US.. HE WORKED 8 DAYS OF 12 HOUR SHIFTS.

TODAY IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN LOWER 40s. MAYBE SOME RAIN AND SNOBURST OF SNOW.

FTHINKING OF EVERY ONE. PRAYERS...........
