Devonne, I have had the moldy cheese issue with Cracker Barrel cheese here. I won't buy it anymore either. I have been buying my cheese from Aldi these days and I have never had an issue with it. Their prices are so reasonable.
Anthony and our grandson, Andrew, are coming up this afternoon. Dean and Andrew are running a 5K race tomorrow morning. We also still have Amelia, Gabriel and Bosco here, so trying to figure out where everybody will sleep tonight. Fridays are Suzanne's day to have her kids over night and now Gabriel says she cannot do it tonight.
So that means we have to get Gabriel to the high school to go on his football game trip with the band and then pick him up afterward sometime around 10:30 p.m. or 11:00 p.m. depending on when the school buses return.
I have no idea what to fix or supper tonight, so it may be a pizza and "wings" night. We had Chinese yesterday, so eating take out two days in a row is unusual for us.
Nothing else to say, so will close.

Ralph has been gone all day for a leaf peeper train ride in New Hope, PA. It’s a bus trip from AAA. I didn’t want to go, so I’ve spent most of the day in the sewing room. I got the purple and blue strips backed and top stitched, and the green is laid out on =26pxits backing.I had to stop to get something to eat. We had brought home a ziti take it dinner from Olive Garden, so I heated some of that. I’ve been listening to Taylor Swift’s new album all day (all week, actually!)
LOL, Cheryl, when my kids are in from the PacNW, I don’t cook. They want pizza, cheesesteaks, and water ice, things they can’t get good versions of at their homes. I think Manda was at Wawa every day!
Not long til the time change, boo.

Pix are up on my blog of the two done done strips.
Ralph is home. He said the ground was uneven and cobblestones, and a lot of people with canes were struggling, so I’m really glad I stayed home. Plus, the leaves were barely turning colors, so he was disappointed that he couldn’t take pix.

The leaves around here for the most part are just turning brown and falling BUT my gardenias are still producing lots of white flowers. Go figure. lol
Holly - your strips are coming along nicely. I hope to finish my sashiko piece today.
I always make Thanksgiving dinner even when it’s only the two of us. As a kid I used to prepare for as many as 22. Since being here I still have made a full turkey dinner for just the two of us. My DD and her DH are coming….first time we will be having company here. I’ve decided (or rather DH decided) to have it catered. So we will be picking up our order the day before. Dinner includes all but desserts and beverages. I’ve also ordered a few pounds of VA ham as son in law is not a big fan of turkey. Easy. I also plan to use throw away plates, etc.

Holly, it's coming along nicely! Will each strip have finished borders and what color will you use?
My sister has been quarantined for 3 weeks with Covid. Some of the other residents have it as well. They went back up on her monthly rate and also included an increase. It's now $3,300 a month....a $200 increase.
Walmart messed up on my delivery order yesterday and it was only 10 items. Their system went down and I got things I never substituted, so I have to go to the store to do returns. Normally, they are pretty good with deliveries.
I have looked at different stores for Halloween or Fall cupcake liners with no luck! I will try Dollar Tree and Publix. I've already been to Walmart, Ingles and Food Depot.

Good Morning to everyone!! It is slightly breezy this morning, but no sun! Tracy is still sleeping, so hopefully will be well rested. I really don't have a thing to say this morning, so will sign off, wishing you all well, BJ.

Devonne, no borders. I just finished the green strip, yellow is next. I just placed my first ever Walmart grocery order to be delivered. It’s worth the fee to not have to go into the crowded store!
Janet, we go to Heather’s for Thanksgiving, and they are vegan so we have pasta. So I make us a turkey breast and fixings the next day.
We went to a cruise expo at AAA. It was disappointing, only a few vendors. But I got a nice Viking tote bag, 2 pens, a flashlight, and a Philly pretzel.
Devonne, sorry about your sister being quarantined for Covid. I saw that one of the southern states has a few hundred kids quarantined for measles!
It’s nice out, temp in the 60’s. I’m still wearing shorts.

Good day friends!
We are having Thanksgiving here this year, it has been several years since we have done so. We went to Anthony's one year and to Emmily's parents' for a couple of years. Even when we were away from home I usually made a complete traditional dinner since Dean loves the leftovers. The turkey is his least favorite. I think this year I will also have a small ham since all of the grandkids seem to like it better than turkey. I thought about ordering pies, but then it is a very long line/wait to get them from the bakery. I guess I will just make them. Aaron and Katie ordered a complete Thanksgiving dinner a couple of years ago and it was really good. It was from a very popular restaurant here and the price was actually good. We had it too! ![]()
Andrew and Dean ran a 5k race today. Andrew ran slow so he could stay with his papa. Dean ran the race in 32.28 minutes , which placed him 4th in his age group. That was really good since he has not run for years and has two knee replacements. He did train for 3 months but in his mind, he should be running the times he did 20 years ago.![]()
I had my 3 month dr visit yesterday and all is well, so no change in any medications. The gal drawing my blood left a huge bruise on my arm, which is not usual for me.
Beautiful day again but supposed to rain tonight and turn pretty cold.
