Obviously, my brain is on strike today. I thought sure I had typed a good morning message here earlier but don’t see it so I guess I didn’t. And Lynn texted me a bit ago to see if I am OK because I didn’t send her a morning text like I usually do. I have had a few phone calls and several texts from friends so I guess that’s why I was mixed up.
I have been working on getting some things ready for retreat in two weeks. I like to have the parts done that require the most concentration. So far I have two quilts prepped, hope to get a couple more. I probably won’t get all of those completed at retreat but I like to have choices to work on.
I had a St Louis TV station on this morning. They said today’s high would be 89 and by Wednesday the low would be 39! That is quite a change. I’m only about 75 miles away so our temps should be close to that.

Stopped and filled up my vehicle this morning. I get gas at this Shell all the time; close to my house. I was charged $125 instead of $37.27. I called the bank & was told a hold was placed on my card and would come off by Monday. That's never happened to me before, but Gary said it's very common.
Trish and Holly, yes, surgery is this coming week. I will keep y'all informed.
Marylou, we will be 84 tomorrow and on Tuesday only 66 for the high. That's an 18 degrees drop.
Emily has Covid and she's supposed to go to my surgery with me and Gary this week?? How long does it take until she's no longer contagious, lol?
