So far I think Carol/needle crazy and I are the only ones not registered w our hgtv names

I like my name so I wanted to keep it here.  I miss the avatars, most of the time I would know who it was by seeing the picture only.

Well, I guess I will go ahead a get my 5th post.

To use your avatar from HGTV's forum, go to the HGTV forum and click on your avatar on one of your posts.
When the window open, look down the list for 'properties' and click on it.
There will be a URL line in the next window.  You want to hilite that and press Control C
(that will copy the URL for you to bring to the other site.  Its in the memory of your computer)
Don't do anything further at the HGTV  site.
Now go back to the Daily Thread site and go to your 'avatar and signatue' page.
Click 'change avatar'
in the block that opens, put your cursor at the beginning.  Then press Control V
It should copy that URL to that line.
Press 'Submit' at the bottom of the page.
Now go back to the threads and find one you've written.  You should see your avatar there.

It was so easy peasy and you know me, I'm a techy dummie.

Off to try and get an avatar. I think this is post #5. Love it that we have the emoticons! Judy, it feels like a vacation or a retreat, doesn't it?

Question: I know we are early in this new forum/board, but I have a question. When we come here each day (or when we can come here), do we just go to the last page to get the new posts? Are the pages ever deleted?

Oh!  And how cool to see some of the same avatars!  I didn't relize how I also look at the avatars to know who is who!  Lol!  for example, LL, you look like your avatar!  So does QB, so does A.J.
